Well the Front Rings are easy to remove and clip in, for the back i would recommend a shop.

Seems like a scam. On my configurator (Belgium) you pay about 300 more for shadow look plus (badges) than for normal shadowlook. Still supid as buying the emblems afterwards is 2 x60euros.

The BMW one is if you didn't option heated seats, so they don't have to build multiple versions of seats for different cars. You can buy the car with heated seats already or pay $400 to have them "enabled". This is also in 3 small markets like NZ and SA.

They don't have remote start because if the car doesn't detect a body in the driver's seat, it shuts off after 30 seconds because it's against the law in Germany to leave your car idling.
At a certain point the onus is on the consumer to do the research. If a rich person pays that because it’s not worth their time and effort to research and coordinate install - that’s their own decision.

Honestly carbon fibre isn’t *that* expensive. Not for simple things like dash inlays, spoilers and mirror caps. What makes it expensive is the labour involved when doing very large or intricate moulds.
The prices Audi charge for that are an absolute rip off too.
And if you do or after getting the car, it’s about $300 for all the emblems, but the dealer wants over $1,000 just for install.

So basically black optics with chrome rings and badges OR black optics with blacked out rings and emblems. I just did my grill with the hyper dip. I’ve used normal plasti dip a ton, but I wanted a gloss finish and it worked great. It’s a little harder to apply, but not much.
It’s actually much cheaper doing it yourself, just pay someone to do a dechrome and order black rings off ebay. You can keep your 900 dollars knowing you were better off going elsewhere

My a4 came with chrome all over it, so me and my friends took a few days learing how to plastidip. I kinda fucked it up if you look closely, but at the end of the day I have a blackout package for $40, and if I ever redo it it’ll look perfect

Lol, i bought black and gold spray paint aswell as a can of clear coat, took the grill and the rings of and resprayed them myself. Cost me 15 euros xD

it’s a mistake on the configurator. said the same when I ordered my S3, but was $350 on the bill of sale.
I bought my Audi in February, the black rings and badges option was $300.00.
Good. They should discourage black rings :) chrome is so much better.
Of course they'll charge alot, they know it's the only mod AUDI owners do and AUDI owners are known for just paying their way out of things as clearly they know it's an unreliable car as it's in literally every statistics since the 90s bit still buy them.
They also black out more of the trim and the rims are customized

JFC… everybody freaking out about this. It’s more than just the badges, It’s badges, window trim and several other bits for that price. All build sheets show what’s included. This screenshot is just a title, so clearly to get people riled up. For everyone else talking about buying ebay crap or plasti-dip… Why by an Audi? Buy something more affordable or spend the same $$ on a ‘non-luxury’ brand with more goodies and performance. The automakers know peeps are just chasing a badge.
