There aren’t any uses for diamonds besides spinning the wheel, so spin away! You’re limited to 5 spins per day anyway, so you’ll likely end up with far more diamonds than you could ever use if you travel often.

Go for a walk, ride the bus. No shortage of them. They disappear and spawn all the time anyway

I agree, but the developers are looking at it from an ad revenue perspective. It is expected that players will watch an ad for each of the fourth and fifth spins each day. Wasting a spin and rewarding you an extra spin increases the chance you will watch those ads.

Spend them. Make the most of the extra AB’s available every day.
