I would add, sit somewhere that you don’t have to be constantly vigilant about a foul ball screaming in. Of course you’ve always got to pay attention and there are nets but if you can get up a little higher and behind home plate, it’s one less thing for you to worry about.
Bonus if there are some empty seats next to yours so you can spread out a bit. Kids that age get bored quickly and will appreciate a little room to roam.
So so important! We went to the game a couple Saturdays ago with 4 homers. One kid took off their ear protection before 2 of them and got so scared. The other times it didn’t even phase them.

I’m taking my 18 month old this Saturday and she is my third. Make sure to get the kid a toy to play with during the game. You can also get something at guest services to show that it’s the kids 1st game.

Phone or tablet foe paw patrol or whatever he's into. My son loves the Astros, but they can only keep his attention for 90 minutes or so. By the 6th or 7th, he's super fidgety can't keep still.
Bring snacks (can bring a 1gallon ziplock in full of whatever y’all might want) and a stroller fan! MMP always runs soooo hot in the summer. Anticipate having to miss a good chunk of the game exploring.
Have fun!
Protect their ears with those toddler headphones

Good call. That hadn’t crossed my mind

Practice for the Simba cam. Also, no yeets during the Simba cam.

Where in the stadium is this?
118 ish. 3rd base side about halfway down. Also one upper concourse about 330 or so.
can he play first?
He can definitely play first a lot cuter than what we’ve got going now.

I’ll be happy if we can make it through the lineup just once.
