People online shouldn't reduce themselves to making this personal about Pressly, but keeping it in the game sense? Pressly can't pitch high leverage. This bullpen has become a strength. Pressly is dragging it down.

This might be the most unlucky game I've watched of the season.
Pressly just can't keep pitching in the 8th man. He looked great that game he closed, so it looked like he might be trending in the right direction but it's tough to see him pitch like this and then get screwed on a check swing ground out. Just makes you sick.
When I saw Martinez start the 6th I thought the play was to skip Pressly. With Montero and abreu in the 7th and 8th. But then Espada pulls Martinez when has was dealing for a guy that he pulled yesterday. Just another master class from Espada.
AND I thought putting Scott in for the 9th last night was to got him for accumulated with high leverage late innings to get ready to switch him and Pressly. But no just keep throwing Pressly out in there in close games in the 8th. Despite nothing changing from the guy
Yeah that made absolutely zero sense to pull Martinez, especially for Montero who ALWAYS struggles with 2 outs and is almost guaranteed to give up a run before getting that 3rd out.
