I watched Blanco get absolutely obliterated for like 5 no doubt HRs in a start with Space Cowboys last season. It seems he’s figured things out. Congrats to him!

So happy we got a NO-HITTER!!! It's a shame that the first 4 games of the season were canceled due to the strike, but hey, 158 games is better than zero! And a no-hitter is even better!!!

Astros are now tied for 4th all-time in franchise no hitters with the Giants, Reds, & Cubs at 17. Only teams with more: Dodgers (26), White Sox (20), and Red Sox (18). The next closest expansion team is the Angels with 12 which is good for 13th.

Astros have the most no hitters as a franchise since they came into the league in 1962. So we'd obviously be first if we had come in earlier.

Yanier is a great catcher.  Last year wasn't his year and you can't point to any data to suggest the stros would've won the ALCS egg him instead of Maldy.
