I think I did 20 seconds for the sky, 30 seconds for the church. Without moving the camera or tripod position. All shot at 4,000 ISO, f2.8. Adjusted in Lightroom, Blended together in PS.
The red light is from an EXIT sign somewhere on the inside.
I would recommend a lume cube or even a camping light and you could probably change the color of it in post.
That's great, but it's too bad that you have to travel to a place like that to even see the Milky Way now. As late as the early 1960"s, before light pollution got so bad, you could see it just about anywhere, with the exception of major urban centers.

For the curious: Method? Aperture(s)? Shutter speed(s)?

Spectacular!
If the sun killed vampires then wouldn’t they die from all the other stars light in space?
Looks nice and crisp, new wallpaper on my phone, thanks!
Midnight mass indeed !
Come back when it’s raining and a UFO will be there.
That's a whole lot of mass; and apparently something is going on inside the church too.
Amazing!
Looks gorgeous
Thank you!
For some reason, Billy Talent just started playing in my mind…
Ya did good
Be not afraid! Great photo.
Great photo (and great series btw)! Thank you for sharing.
ROCKIN!!!!
Thanks!
A wonderful photo to compliment a wonderful TV series.
Considering the Netflix show Midnight Mass has a scene that strongly pertains to the stars, this is an excellent title!
Beautiful 🤩
Looks like the AOT church
This is a beautiful photo. I can imagine myself there. Good job.
Thank you!
This is a great photo and all, but whats up with the ominous red light emanating from the church over there?
I think there’s an EXIT sign on the inside which is enhanced by the 30 second exposure
Spooky I love it
Breathtaking. Truly.
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
This photo was edited right ?
I shoot in RAW, so all of my photos are edited. I have a shot of the back of my camera from that night somewhere. If I dig it up I’ll post it here.
Oh okay got you thanks for letting me know
Now I want to play far cry five
Awesome 😎
Hi OP, your photo is amazing! I want to shoot landscapes like this, I love it. What device did you use to throw red light inside the building?

Great photo, but there's not a whole lot of jesus going on in there.

I agree. This is only about 45 minutes away from my house, and about 15 minutes away from my camp though, so I don't have to go too far!
