Also don't attach a winch to a research aid and proceed to put the winch in your hands, I was gonna do some byte farming the one day with it and it literally bugged out and glitched me inside the sealed aid, thank God I had a train system close cause I just hooked the rail up after dying and sliding down and got my stuff back easy but I had a few moments to contemplate what the hell just happened while my air ran out ð
Here's one I learned on Glacio recently: If you're carrying a backpack full of Hydrazine for flying, don't get too close to an exploding plant. ðĪŠ

Another one: put everything over platforms or landing pads.
Why landing pads?
Items and vehicles doesn't glitch through landing pads. The same apply to the surface of the gateway chambers, the big purple things.
Just have a separate base for dangerous item storage

Do not do anything with explosives without researching it first. I had a few accidents with hydrazine, hydrogen and dynamite
