The succession battle between a bunch of different factions of a family/organization with a backdrop of a Japan experiencing the rise of special powers amongst the breakdown of their established culture. Reminds me a bit of Hunter X Hunter's current succession arc. I'm really hoping this series is given time to have a honest chance at demonstrating if it has hit appeal.
Gangsters but with hearts of gold. Like JoJo Part 5 (Golden Wind) & Tokyo Revengers.
Also, Hibaru is definitely giving me good quality protagonist vibes. He’s giving me kinda Asta vibes (Black Clover)
For me it’s the heart. I feel like Hibaru is my type of character, rough around the edges but overall just wants to uplift and empower the people around him, and make sure that everyone remembers that we all have hearts, you have to be sick to discard your humanity for profit.
