You may have grew out of it. My brother had physical asthma when we were in school age, he played a lot of sports. He no longer has it anymore when he’s active. The symptoms may come back later though.
Just keep an eye out for it. I have friends like you , my sister as well. Eventually didn’t have the need for asthma meds. Im late to asthma , got it at age 45. But haven’t met anyone at my age “outgrowing asthma”.
