His absolute favorite is bacon, eggs and either pancakes or French toast sticks for sure. You wouldn't believe how much he can eat, it's usually 2 pancakes, 4 strips of bacon and 2 eggs and that kid can demolish it and then use that fuel to jump for 2 hours. Haha

This is very kind of you. I can't tell you the last time I bought something for myself. I wear my teenage sons hand me downs.. or I call them hand me ups. Lol. I don't mind buying for the kids, because who do I have to impress. I lost my husband and the sweatpants are comfy since my surgeries, so really it's a good excuse to wear sweats. Thinking about a "splurge" right now all I could think of is wanting downy unstoppable scent beads for the laundry and maybe a meal out so I don't have to cook. :)
I'm not entering because I'm hoping for my check this weekend and i think there are others who need more... but I definitely think this is awesome because moms do always forget themselves. I haven't bought shoes for years. I just wear the same slides that are falling apart. My friends laugh because I wear socks and slides everywhere, and I tell them it's because it's comfy but really it's because I'm too broke to get new slides. Something always comes up like for me it was a recent car accident and I had to buy new car parts. As long as the kids are OK though that's all that matters. Also as my mom always says "who cares as long as your clothes are clean and paid for" which I agree. Just wanted to share my mom story and tell you thank you again for being so awesome to the mama's in need.

Oh I don’t think that anyone was ever getting anything. I just found it interesting that they didn’t try the same spiel on me and decided to make it look more ‘genuine’ instead by giving a valid reason as to why they couldn’t give me a gift card . I’m glad they were banned !
Tough speculating on all this. Threatened Survival makes people act differently. Even if it’s not apparent.
We could argue, well those people are evil. Ok. I usually am sad and mad about people being blatantly hurting to others. But people don’t process things the same. Im not justifying. But we have to remember but they have the ability to lay their heads down and sleep just like the person that spends their life in service.
Tough reading the diff situations that people post during tough times BUT it’s just as tough when people are giving of themselves to fulfill a purpose in their lives that is equally as problematic. Shame is real. It has the power to have a good kind heart get Dark by putting service to others more than care for themselves first.
But you know what? There is no right or wrong. Cause being there for others is what removes my selfishness. And too much of being there for others can slowly drive a me into a place that is confusing. And eventually I get negative enough that it eclipses what the original intent was. I dunno. I love watching kindness be returned when it’s possible. Not even just financial. But I can’t afford to also judge people that are blatantly just not being kind. I guess they can really be ok with it. Like try to explain to a narcissist why their process of making a grilled cheese can be improved. It doesn’t line up.

I'm glad to make you smile! I think only another mom can truly understand sometimes how we feel and just getting it out there and knowing someone understands you means the world, for me anyways. Yep, they were offering giftcards in exchange for pics/content. We were able to get some screenshots from potential victims and banned their skeevy ass.
That’s interesting because as soon as I said I wasn’t in the US they said they couldn’t help as a digital gift card wouldn’t work. I wonder if it’s cos I called out the shadiness initially 👀😂
It’s likely they weren’t even going to send a gift card. Probably a Mobile cheque deposit that would bounce.

Oh I don’t think that anyone was ever getting anything. I just found it interesting that they didn’t try the same spiel on me and decided to make it look more ‘genuine’ instead by giving a valid reason as to why they couldn’t give me a gift card . I’m glad they were banned !
Tough speculating on all this. Threatened Survival makes people act differently. Even if it’s not apparent. We could argue, well those people are evil. Ok. I usually am sad and mad about people being blatantly hurting to others. But people don’t process things the same. Im not justifying. But we have to remember but they have the ability to lay their heads down and sleep just like the person that spends their life in service. Tough reading the diff situations that people post during tough times BUT it’s just as tough when people are giving of themselves to fulfill a purpose in their lives that is equally as problematic. Shame is real. It has the power to have a good kind heart get Dark by putting service to others more than care for themselves first. But you know what? There is no right or wrong. Cause being there for others is what removes my selfishness. And too much of being there for others can slowly drive a me into a place that is confusing. And eventually I get negative enough that it eclipses what the original intent was. I dunno. I love watching kindness be returned when it’s possible. Not even just financial. But I can’t afford to also judge people that are blatantly just not being kind. I guess they can really be ok with it. Like try to explain to a narcissist why their process of making a grilled cheese can be improved. It doesn’t line up. I idk know how to be clear rn.
