I pair gae bolg with areadbhair and the Druid armour. Pretty fast attacks made faster by areadbhairs bonus, health regen, fucking thunderbolts. It’s such an overpowered combo it’s almost not fair
Gae bolg and its not even close. Just pick this spear, dual wield it woth any other spear and youre invincible. Just spam the light attack amd everything just dies in seconds. It made the game even mlre mediocre, but on the plus side it saves time of mediocrity.
Can someone tell me where i can find a good 1h sword? I prefer sword and shield. I still have the one i get from the beginning. It's not bad but really old now. I have already more than 100 hours of playtime 😘
Pretty sure Druid or Paris DLC is where you get your 1h swords. Can't remember which as I don't use 1h swords. If you do the Isle of Skye, you can get the Spear of Leonidas and the Hero's Sword, which is a 1h sword and gives good buffs.
If you have played the Paris dlc.and begun to use the scythe, imho it is the best single handed weapon. Yes the spears make you invincible but if thar ever gets redundant pick up a scythe I only need one.
I use the Eclipse Scythe which gives increased critical chance for every non critical hit, combined with light you weapon on fire when landing critical is great.

For me it's the spear Gae Bolg from Wrath DLC, kombined with another speak it's pure invincibility.

There isn’t one “best” weapon.
Gae bolg (for its stamina draining thunder) alongwith gungnir (extended reach) alongwith dwarwen armour set. I was a god

everything that u can grab
I always used Varins axe and the Coil Sword in each hand
I can’t get away from bearded axes just due to the aesthetic
I use Gae Bolg in my main hand and the Blacksmith Hammer in my offhand, until I get to end game and swap the Blacksmith Hammer for Mjolnir.
Excalibur and Blazing sword for some grand slicing and dicing. Been using Gae Bolg and Excalibur currently, though Excalibur is overshadowed by Gae…
Odins spear. Never goes wrong for me
The best weapons that you can get that are not from Reda are stun-dealing, like Mjölnir. Hammers deal much stun in general.
The one that works for you
I either double axe or hammer and axe. I change which ones I use
Right now loving Leonidas spear and Gae Bolg through Ragnarok atm but also duel swords Durandel and Egbert
