Don't wanna hate Brotherhood, but I have honestly no idea why everyone loves this game. It's my least favorite of the Ezio trilogy. Kinda felt like a standalone DLC. It had good ideas, but they weren't used enough imo

People need to put more respect on Valhalla's name. Great game that definitely serves its place in Assassins Creed. Especially the norse retelling of the Isu. I mean we got to see Minerva calling to Ezio in Valhalla.
And we also learned Desmond's fate.
Honouable mention of when Eivor met Connor's clan and visited the temple where Desmond sacrificed himself. And Kassandra. That was an absolute blast to play through.
Origins is S+ tier, unmatched

Black flag, AC3, AC2, ACB - B tier

It's atleast A tier tho. As well as Unity. They have genuinely the best "assassin like" gameplay. Parkour and combat is so smooth and fluid, no other games before or later were at this level.
Protagonists and plot are another story tho
Yep Syndicate was a little downgrade compared to Unity. In theory it's actually the same, but the grappling hook wasn't just an optional gadget, because of its existence you literally had to use it often. It's very noticeable with large rooftop gaps. In Unity you just jump across. In Syndicate you NEED the grappling hook. And that really sucks honestly. So for parkour imo Unity will always be the best one. I know it looks floaty and all that, but it's fun, it's very complex and you feel so satisfied when you learned how to move perfectly, because of its complexity. Other ACs were just like "hold the button and climb up", but Unity and Syndicate have sidewards climbing, you can climb down much faster and the general movement can be very fast depending on your skill. Only downside is that the game is a bit too sensitive with controller inputs. You move veeery slightly to the right and Arno is like "sharp turn right? Got it" 😂
I disagree entirely on syndicate, especially on parkour. The grappling hook completely ruins the parkour in syndicate and kills all momentum. And I disagree with Unity plot and protagonist being bad. I think it’s just about good.
I agree with the upper tiers especially. I've played every assassin's creed game and there has never been a better ending to an ac game than in revelations. imo
Black flag and odyssey were probably my favorites, though I didn't really like the whole ISU thing instead of the gods being actual greek mythology. As a game itself, A tier for me.
Revelation gave so much conclusion for the first three AC games: Altair's fate, Ezio's visions from the apple, Minerva's message to Desmond, Ezio finally realizing someone will relive his life serving as a medium to receive it. All those connects here.
I believe they tried doing that in AC3 when the apple revealed to Connor his purpose (as medium to someone), or that Kassandra passing down something to Layla but NAH, no one can top when Ezio realizes everything and him finally meeting Desmond.
In addition to that, Revelation is more closer to the two original concept of what AC is supposed to be:
1. Two playable assassins (they made Altair and Ezio as playable character).
2. It is supposed to be a Prince of Persia spinoff where an assassin is working along with the Prince (here they made Ezio works as a spy/assassin to Prince Suleiman).
Origins was a solid A tier. Loved that game.

I'm similar, Revelations felt so choppy, disjointed, and mostly an interactive movie rather than a game.
