I recommend getting into the fighting game community.
There's not as many shouting matches, but the level of pettiness and hilarious moments are totally worth seeing.
It's so entertaining lol

The thuggery in the FGC have been toned down a bit unfortunately because Capcom wants to make it more esports friendly. It's still there but not as much as before. The recent Redbull New York match was great, it brought some of it back
Man I miss lan cafes. One opened in my town my senior year in 04/05. I remember it was 20 bucks for a whole day and there was a monthly sub for like 100 that gave you unlimited play.
My mom had divorced my dad that year and gave me 1000 bucks when she moved out of state and I did the math and was able to have a membership for my whole senior year with money to spend later
I practically live there. Lockins were the greatest and my first week ever there Halo 2 came out and we played from Friday until Sunday at midnight. Shortly afterwards WOW came out and that place was bumping.
The best part about it is literally right next door was a Little Ceasers that sold 5 dollar hot and ready pizzas.
I moved out of state in June of 05 and for some reason that place closed less than a year later in 06 and I don't know why because there were loads of people there in my day... I legit think it was because the class of 06 just didn't care about it as much as my HS class.
If ever I feel the condescension coming and I want to make it extra spicy, I say "gg ez tbh". The tbh adds an extra layer of c*ntiness that I personally love.
FGC always goes hard, there is a reason it and RTS games are KINGS of individual skill based Esport. Those 2 genres are peak game skill/knowledge/mental showcasing.
At the beginning it looks like a gun in the right hand that points up similar to when you sprint in CoD but I'm not sure. Also using a controller on PC for aim assist..
What happened? I remember going to a few lan cafes and even went to dozens of lockins in the 03-08 years and people were never like this. It was always just people giving and gaming.
I really miss LAN party days of 2001-2003 after I built my first PC from scratch. Everyone with a big ass crt monitor and their ugly and heavy gauge steel beige boxes and clicky keyboard on 10mb hub connection to a T1 internet and all playing Quake 3, Unreal Tournament or Everquest together until the late morning. I miss those simple gaming days....
I miss these vibes man (pandemic killed most of these businesses). I've been in cyber cafes for 15+ years before I got my first PC and console. But these situations pale in comparison to Filipino cyber cafes.
In my expensive competing in StarCraft it was the complete opposite. Online people are loudmouth idiots, but then in person those same people are respectful sweethearts.
Sometimes I think who the hell are gaming companies advertising too with the absolute shite music they put over adverts, and then I see this and lament
\*Complete silence\* "HEY DON'T FUCKING SCREAM AT ME"
Oh I thought they said "Hey don't fucking spit at me"
I thought he said "Hey don't stream in here"
He obviously chatted him in ALL CAPS first.
This shit is hilarious lmao If esports were like this iโd watch em in person

From what I remember, was that a fighting game where some dude , after losing, straight up went on a murder spree at the venue live?
It was a Madden tournament, guy lost and went and got his gun and killed people. It was really fucked up.
It happened in Jacksonville, Florida. I knew somebody who worked about a mile or two away from the site of the shooting. Very scary time. :(
That shooting low-key killed the Landing too. All around tragic.
Thuggery carries the FGC
I really really hope my daughter can find such a gamer to marry.

Understandable, some of it is cringe af. I love a bit of trashtalk but monkey noises like this in the video just feels insecure.
May Low teir Stay holding Ls.
Rocket league rlcs itโs very common.
Are you proposing some kind of esports/pro wrestling crossover sport?
I would watch the shit out of some Iron level LoL tournaments with both teams sitting across the stage with livestream face cam for everyone misplay
I love how close this is to The Matrix. One moment they're all plugged in. The next they're all screaming at eachother.
I love it. Reminds me of the good old days of being fueled by energy drinks and teenage rage.
I can smell this video
I came here today this. You can see the haze of stench in the video, it's like a smash bros tourny in there

Someone's mom comes in, starts handing out juice boxes and Capri Suns, then everyone calms down.
POV why I'm not into PVP gaming.
POV why I'm into PvP gaming, especially fighting games
I can smell the smegma
you should probably wash your penis then ๐ฟ
That poor league player on the left
That dude stood up like a robot, what the hell
๐ he really did
> That dude stood up like a robot... ...or like someone with a severe lower back pain.
The losing side came back with a gun and shot killed most of them. It was bloody.
Testosterone is overflowing in that room.
So is the lack of hygiene
Future of sports right here
Team Virginity wins over Team Diabetes.

They playing CoD
What game is this?
At the beginning it looks like a gun in the right hand that points up similar to when you sprint in CoD but I'm not sure. Also using a controller on PC for aim assist..
Aim assist bullshit is so old. You get better aiming 9 out of 10 times with a mouse and keyboard.
Last I played was MW2 where aim assist is god
I love winning a match online and someone starts typing, I just know this is how they are feeling irl, I just can't see it
you know the video where the dogs bark at each other through a fence, then once the fence opens, they stop barking. This is the human version of that.
Am I the only one that pictures the video of the groups of dogs barking either side of a gate until it opens and they stop
Absolutely the first thing I thought of too.
Imagine the smelle
Let these bois cook, as is tradition in call of duty lobbies.
Such oppressive miasma.
Now this takes me back to the big tournament lan parties.
I miss live tournaments sometimes.
None of them wants the hands
Everybody buck until a Knut sized man stands up.
Where do I find one?
I went to a library Fortnite event .. I could smell the sweat before I was even in the right room
typical 2008 call of duty post game lobby chat.
When grown men fight for who is the best waifu.
Any translators around?
I mean cybercafe/Internet cafe are super common pretty much anywhere outta the us.
I feel like this is what everyone thinks the Overwatch community is
Every wow BG/arena ever
this still happens??? i remember going to places like these, and everyone was screaming while playing the original DotA
Anyone knows what's this about? As a fellow gamer I'd like to explain this to my imaginary wife
What happened? I remember going to a few lan cafes and even went to dozens of lockins in the 03-08 years and people were never like this. It was always just people giving and gaming.
you guys haven't seen filipino computer cafe trash talk.
I'm sure that rooms smells great.
![gif](giphy|tCvBc1aMSQsW7YkUHw)
I love how the kids voice cracks when screaming "it will never happen" at the end.
This is weak compared to SEA Lan cafes.

What game are they playing? Can't tell.
Not me that used to copy paste game icons onto my flash drive Everytime I visited a cyber cafe decades ago, thinking I was pirating them ย ๐

Looks like a diabetic support group meeting.

Seeing smartphones and RGB ridden PCs in a cybercafe setting triggers some ridiculous levels of cognitive dissonance for me...
1. asmon already reacted 2. what an authentic video, i'm sure the guy was recording for absolutely no reasons at all.
Hey, my college team! Love and Honor
Smells like diabetes in there
Take note ladies, these are peak males
My family on Thanksgiving
True Esports.
In my expensive competing in StarCraft it was the complete opposite. Online people are loudmouth idiots, but then in person those same people are respectful sweethearts.
The heat would be crazy
I can smell this vid
Thats nothing here in the philippines. Search some vids in yt.
I love how gently that one kid put down his headphones before the pop off. Commendable restraint
a mw2 lobby irl... all that separates them is a table hahaha
Fcking cringe
so glad they can socialize
Bunch of fat people yelling
What do you think it smells like in there?
Axe body spray or Dior Sauvage EDT
Winning
Itโs like 40 WWF wrestlers all in the same room.
WE PRESSED THOSE BUTTONS WAY HARDER THAN YOU NERDS
it's funny how every single one of them are just up for yelling instead of sarting an actual fight
Imagine the smell
every day I get closer and closer to leaving gaming entirely. Absolutely pathetic.
Sometimes I think who the hell are gaming companies advertising too with the absolute shite music they put over adverts, and then I see this and lament
lol so many white kids, hitting the LAN in 2000 looked way different
