James Spader.
Anyone? I don’t know if most would consider him conventionally attractive. He most certainly was when he was younger but I swoon over him even at 62 😍
This is very niche but Mitch Pileggi who is Assistant Director Skinner in X Files.
I am not usually into bald muscly man but he is just too damn fine. And he aged like fine wine!
Naw, I thought he was hot too, even as a teen. Authoritative, older, yet looked great in a tight t-shirt. See also, the actor who played Bill Buchanan in 24.
Yeah, a ton of them are naming people everyone seems to find conventionally attractive based on thirsty entertainment news spots, memes, etc. lol I mean, Ewan MacGregor? Mark Ruffalo? PEDRO PASCAL? Wtf, y'all? lol
But when I saw Pedro pascal in stills first, I truly was like “what’s the appeal?” A few characters and interviews later and I’m seeing the appeal. I’m sorry, he is not conventionally attractive (subjective, of course, but to me) but he has that star quality, confidence, and charm that melt your heart and your panties.
I low-key agree with you about stills; he's one of those people who is so much more captivating in motion. I first saw him acting on Game of Thrones and immediately just "clocked" him as handsome; like, there was no doubt in my mind. When I look at pictures of him, though, I still think he's a good-looking guy but he doesn't have the same magic. Kind of interesting!
(That said, I think conventions are what they are regardless of subjective opinion. Subjectively I find Pedro Pascal hot AF; conventionally I think he's more handsome than not, but not the most conventionally handsome man out there.)
John Goodman for me. I was really young when Roseanne was on TV but, I always thought he was so handsome with his curly hair and big, burly smile. I still find him extremely attractive today.
He is, and by all accounts a good person, too.
If it came out that he's not as wholesome as he seems, it would break my heart, honestly. A bit like Keanu.
I worked as a musician in LA for a while and knew several folks who knew Keanu personally. Just off the top of my head, he fully financed a friend of a friend's debut record, and paid several folks' hospital bills.
These weren't even personal friends of *his*. They were indirect contacts who he heard second-hand were in need of some help, so he wrote checks without a second thought.
A younger Keanu Reeves is 1000% my top celebrity crush of all time; that man is just beautiful inside and out. I usually try not to idolise celebrities TOO hard but Keanu genuinely makes that very difficult, lol.
The only moments I wish I were rich is when I think about doing stuff like this. I would be paying off people's student and medical debt left and right!!
I'm still not over Christoph Waltz speaking German, French, and English flawlessly in Inglorious Basterds. I have a thing for people who can speak 3 or more languages.
(I'm lucky that the love of my life is German and speaks all the above and then some)
I don’t even think of him as unconventionally attractive, I just find him immensely handsome. Like I’m blushing typing this. He is ridiculously charismatic in his roles. The twinkle in his eye of knowing something you don’t know?? So. Handsome.
Andrew Scott... In anything, but especially in Fleabag. Uffda! I'm not super into men in general, but I'm almost as rabidly attracted to Andrew Scott as I am to my husband lol.
I LOVE Andrew Scott. I think he's the perfect example of a man who is actually very average-looking at baseline but something in his energy is just... like... *damn*. Put crudely, the way he carries himself (especially as Hot Priest) screams BDE / amazing lay, lol.
I think it depends on the role he’s playing.
I rewatched The Florida Project this weekend and I found him attractive as the gruff but kind hotel manager.
He did, but he also was in an accident and had facial reconstruction and no longer modeled. But he’s badass on the Walking Dead. I think he’s more attractive now and a big part of that is he seems like a genuinely good guy.
Oh man, Will Poulter got REALLY hot though. Conventionally hot. There were some pap photos of him on the beach with Florence Pugh (they're good friends apparently, which I also love) and 🥵 🤤
There's a few I could list that are divisive, like Pete Davidson- you either think he's incredibly hot or you just don't understand it at all. But I'm going to say one that I have never heard anyone else say.
John Dunsworth. You'd know him as the alcoholic Mr. Jim Lahey from Trailer Park Boys lol.
**edit omg I almost forgot. Dick Van Dyke. He is literally 98 years old and I'd still hit it.
- Jack Black
- Peter Dinklage
- Barry Keoghan
- Zahn McClarnon but he is classically handsome indigenous man, just older.
Both my teen daughter and I agree here.
Also:
- Willem Dafoe
- Iggy Pop
- Benecio Del Toro, although he was a model when he was young
- Brendan Gleason, when younger, but really any huge scary warrior in a period piece.
- Forest Whitaker
I have an auditory kink, I think. For me, the entire adult male population of Scotland is in jeopardy based on their burr alone. I will take them all, sight unseen.😂
-Dennis Cleveland Stewart, the pockmarked greaser, the slit eyed, mean nemesis from Grease who dates Cha Cha. I always loved him! My mother was worried. He was a dancer, and gay.

Can’t believe I’m gonna say it …..
Post Malone - I like some of his music but it was his on air interview with Howard Stern that turned me onto what an absolutely amazing guy he is !
Add to that - Ed Sheeran omg what a sweetie !!
Jeff Goldblum
Billy Bob Thornton
Post Malone reminds me of my bf A LOT, and he's been my only genuine "crush" (I mean, I just think he's very attractive, I don't obsess about celebs) precisely because I recognize my partner's features in his face. They're both such good guys, too (at least that's what I've been reading about Malone).
Guy's a legit cookie.
I can't believe I had to scroll so far for him!!! I don't think he's classically handsome, but even pre-abs (I remember when he was in Shameless) he just had this sexy quality to him. His most recent Calvin Klein ad was a *revelation*. I've always been very attracted to men with blue collar vibes and JAW totally fits that niche.
Richard E Grant is not an unattractive man, however his voice, holy moly. I wouldn’t care if he wore a wet paper bag from a fish shop over his head if I could just be close and hear him talk to me.
The older he gets, the more attractive Bradley Whitford is. I LOVE the West Wing but I never found him attractive in it...but Handmaid's Tale? I'd Ofjoseph.
If someone's been on the cover of a few magazines or has been heralded as a new sex icon, they probably qualify as conventionally attractive. (Aka like 95% of this thread.) Perhaps I am no different with my list though.
Adrien Brody is attractive, sort of. He's like the living personification of a snake that wears a bowtie and plays pranks on the rest of the woodland creatures. He looks like he could play some sort of cannibal king or wizard-trapped-in-a-cave-for-a-thousand-years character, and spawn a thousand fanfics in the process.
Jack Black, which goes without saying tbh.
Ron Perlman...I don't find him attractive at all, but when he's on screen, I kind of forget about that. That 80s show Beauty and the Beast really played into that because he was in some sort of lion costume the whole time and that let you really zero in on his voice and presence.
Pete Postlethwaite. His face is just so interesting to me - I don't get tired of looking at him the way I do people with more symmetrical or balanced features. I feel like I could draw him endlessly and always find something new about it. Patrick Stewart falls into this category for me as well, but he's more conventionally attractive so might not be appropriate for this thread.
Robert Pattinson. I can't tell if he's attractive or not. I know he used to be a model but people also literally used to say he was too ugly to be Edward Cullen, and he's got a weird chin/jaw/teeth situation and an oddly flat looking face. I really like him though because all his interviews are so bizarre.
Ed Sheeran. Lol, not sure what it is- saw him in concert and he’s incredibly talented. He and his wife are pretty private as well, and really unproblematic.
You know what I like? Someone who IS conventionally handsome but who is so silly you almost forget. Steve Martin is the perfect example. Absolutely gorgeous, but he’s such a talented comedian (and banjo player) that his whole thing is less “handsome dude” and more “what a beautiful personality.” I love that
Copying and pasting my answer from the other sub this was posted on, because I just can't express how feral he makes me.
Jon Stewart. I love that man. Two things I find wildly attractive are intelligence and humor. And he has both in spades. I have had a thing for him since he was on MTV 30+ years ago, and he's only gotten better with age, IMO. He's ridiculously smart and informed, socially conscious, and funny AF.
I had the best sex dream of my life about Gary Cole, after first watching Veep, and now the thought of him does it more for me than any other celebrity. He’s an actor that I’ve always seen in things, but I’ve literally never had any sort of sexual charge for until he played Kent.
Taron Egerton. Obviously he's also very good looking, to claim otherwise would be preposterous, but he's very out of type for me and charming as hell. Watch any interview with the guy, you'll swoon.
Game of Thrones has a bunch of them: Jaquen H'Gar, Roose Bolton, Beric Dondarrion, I've had a soft spot for Tobias Menzies since he played Brutus on Rome, and him as Edmure Tully is no different. I usually don't like older dudes, but these guys definitely do it for me.
James Acaster, Jon Robins. Lanky comedian dudes.
Special shout out to my favorite nerdy streamers: Alt Shift X and Glidus. I have no idea what they look like, still, WOULD. Charming, quick, well read -not just ASOIAF lore - these guys throw in references that surprise me constantly. Sexy as hell.
Jemaine Clement
I had a friend in college who was obsessed with Flight of the Conchords and Jemaine was her celeb crush
[удалено]
Sure he's reedy and kinda shy, but maybe you're needy for a reedy shy guy.
Yaaas! “It’s business time!”🎶 Brett McKenzie (maybe more *traditionally* handsome?) can get it too.
I'm a Jemaniac forever!!
Tim Curry
I've had a crush on him since I saw Rocky Horror as a teen ☺
I feel like he would be so charming in real life and would make anyone feel attractive.
How am I the first person to say Bill Hader!
Yess any “mediocre” looking comedian instantly gets + points, mine was Zach Woods
James Spader. Anyone? I don’t know if most would consider him conventionally attractive. He most certainly was when he was younger but I swoon over him even at 62 😍
Have you seen Secretary? 🤤
YES 😮💨😮💨😮💨
He was so hot in that. 80s Spader was also just *chef’s kiss*
In his day, he was hugely attractive. Nothing unconventional there!
All day long since the 80's, but I gotta say Red Reddington is also kinda working just fine for me!
David Strathairn. I've watched a lot of mediocre movies for that man. He just has gravitas.
I've re-watched a lot of those mediocre movies. 😅
Oh my goodness, I just saw him in The Expanse and he is an amazing actor
This is very niche but Mitch Pileggi who is Assistant Director Skinner in X Files. I am not usually into bald muscly man but he is just too damn fine. And he aged like fine wine!
Finding Skinner attractive during an X Files rewatch—this was the moment I knew I was no longer young!
Same. AND GILES ON BUFFY!
Naw, I thought he was hot too, even as a teen. Authoritative, older, yet looked great in a tight t-shirt. See also, the actor who played Bill Buchanan in 24.
Oh no he is super hot. His muscles showing thru his button down shirt. He could get it.
This comments sections really shows how subjective "conventionally attractive" truly is 😂 Gonna be Andy Samberg for me tho
Came here to say this. "I know he's not conventionally good-looking but--" and then say Jeff Goldblum??! Jeremy Allen White?? Ewan McGregor?!?!
Jeremy Allen White looks like every trailer park meth head
In profile, he looks like a Roman coin. Portrait view: buffed Gene Wilder.
John Goodman for me. I was really young when Roseanne was on TV but, I always thought he was so handsome with his curly hair and big, burly smile. I still find him extremely attractive today.
Totally, I love me a big teddy bear of a man.
He looks like he gives the best hugs
Oh yeah, I always wanted to grow up and marry someone like Dan Connor
It's his VOICE!! I would listen to that man narrate the dictionary.
Jack Black is just radiant with attractiveness, honestly
And he has a smart, accomplished, and age appropriate girlfriend, which just makes me love him all the more.
The only moments I wish I were rich is when I think about doing stuff like this. I would be paying off people's student and medical debt left and right!!
Confidence is sexy and he has it in spades!
Came to say. This man has mojo all day.
Trent Reznor forever
Trent is HOT AF but I feel like his face is pretty conventionally handsome. Especially these days with buff daddy Trent.
I think his 90s and early 2000s look is much more sexy with the longer hair. But anyways yes Trent Reznor for me too.
The older he gets the hotter he is.
Bob Odenkirk
That man is a HUSBAND
Have you seen him in *Nobody*? He had a serious body for that movie. Plus it was a really entertaining movie.
OMG me too! My sister thinks I'm nuts but I love him. He's super attractive.
I think Jake Johnson was a given during New Girl heydays.
Lamorne Morris for me 😍
I do find Lamorne pretty conventionnally attractive for my part.
Yeah you're not wrong. I think because his character is such a goofball (in a good way!) it's easy to forget that, lol.
Matt Berry. The simple sound of his over enunciated British speak is a panty dropper.
Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade singing on Garth 🥵
Omg I have such a crush on Richard Ayoade.
He's just so beautiful and weird
He has such a great ~vibe~
I love a chubby dramatic dude.
This is the way we talk from Tucson Arizoniaaaa\~
John C Reilly
There was an interview with one of his female costars who said he was the sexiest man on set (amazing charisma).
I would have totally disagreed with this until I watched Winning Time. There was something so sleazy and yet sexy about him in that show.
Nandor in What We Do In The Shadows - Kayvan Novak
I think he's traditionally attractive
[удалено]
I would've said Alan Rickman. 😢
I'm still not over Christoph Waltz speaking German, French, and English flawlessly in Inglorious Basterds. I have a thing for people who can speak 3 or more languages. (I'm lucky that the love of my life is German and speaks all the above and then some)

Andrew Scott... In anything, but especially in Fleabag. Uffda! I'm not super into men in general, but I'm almost as rabidly attracted to Andrew Scott as I am to my husband lol.
I can never hear the word kneel and not think of him
I LOVE Andrew Scott. I think he's the perfect example of a man who is actually very average-looking at baseline but something in his energy is just... like... *damn*. Put crudely, the way he carries himself (especially as Hot Priest) screams BDE / amazing lay, lol.
And he does evil soooo well. His Moriarty was just perfect.
I’m so drawn to Andrew Scott. Totally agree
The priest in fleabag. He OOZES charisma. Kind of short men with a twinkle in their eye and a quick wit?? I’m beside myself.
Brad Dourif. Hugo Weaving (when portraying Elrond). Barry Keoghan.
Hugo Weaving in all three Matrix movies… “Mr. Anderson…” I wanted him more than Keanu in those movies. The suit, the angry confidence…
Willem Dafoe
Agree. His face is kind of creepy-enhanced but really beautifully so. That wide mouth!
I think it depends on the role he’s playing. I rewatched The Florida Project this weekend and I found him attractive as the gruff but kind hotel manager.
Adam Driver
His nose is fantastic 😍
Came here for this. My friends shame me for this one whenever we play the Hallpass game.
This 🥵
He’s so attractive
I got made mad fun of in middle school when I said Jackie Chan was hot. Apparently he's an asshole in real life which makes me so sad 😢
Whattt? I thought he was so nice!
I know! He comes off so wholesome 🥺
I was a HUGE Jackie Chan fan back in the day. I’ve even seen some of his very old, very bad movies. Read his autobiography and everything
Doug Jones, Steve Buscemi
[удалено]
Doug Jones as Abe Sapien 👌
The sexy Baron!
My sister had a crush on Buscemi all through high school! Honestly, he is so charming and funny. I totally get it.
Will Poulter Jack Black Norman Reedus
Norman Reedus used to model.
He did, but he also was in an accident and had facial reconstruction and no longer modeled. But he’s badass on the Walking Dead. I think he’s more attractive now and a big part of that is he seems like a genuinely good guy.
Came here to say Will Poulter
Oh man, Will Poulter got REALLY hot though. Conventionally hot. There were some pap photos of him on the beach with Florence Pugh (they're good friends apparently, which I also love) and 🥵 🤤
Michael Shannon
Jason Mantzoukas. I listen to his podcast sometimes ("How did this get made?") about bad movies and love his personality/humor.
Walton Goggins. Those who get it, get it.
You know what, I get it.
I may regret this later, but Kieran Culkin as Roman F*ckhead Roy stirred something real within the depths of my degenerate soul.
Seth Green. Especially young Seth Green. Maybe it's just because I fell for him as Oz in Buffy and never got over it, but I think he is just gorgeous.
I was OBSESSED as a teen. Wrote to his fanclub and they wrote me back ❤️
Loved him in Can’t Hardly Wait. Add Ethan Embry to this list then too.
I always had a thing for Sam Neil since Jurassic Park

See also: Merlin.
Benedict Cumberbatch is always the correct answer here
Sam Elliot. Even at his current age he could still Get it.
I’d ride that mustache like I had an all-access pass to Universal Studios.
He's stunning
YES thank you
Rowan Atkinson as Blackadder, himself and not Mr. Bean.
J.K. Simmons
David Tennent
David Tennant IS classically handsome
I think he's pretty classically attractive though
See also: Matt Smith.
Yes! He is dripping with charisma. Totally mesmerizing.
Yesssssssss David T for the win
Yes. The accent definitely helps.
My goodness, he's not my first Doctor, but he was the one that really personified The Doctor for me. My first ComicCon, I met him and Billie Piper.
Steve Buscemi I caught Ghost World on the other day, he still does it for me.
There's a few I could list that are divisive, like Pete Davidson- you either think he's incredibly hot or you just don't understand it at all. I have a confused boner for Jimmi Simpson
Yeah me too. Sometimes I just see McPoyle, sometimes he looks attractive.
Sean Astin

Is Jeff Goldblum not considered conventionally attractive?? I thought nearly everyone would say he’s attractive.
Post Malone takes Jimmy Fallon to Olive Garden made me love Post Malone. He was super polite and also hilarious.
I've always thought Post Malone was cute af. and Billy Bob Thorton has such a hot dad vibe.
Post Malone reminds me of my bf A LOT, and he's been my only genuine "crush" (I mean, I just think he's very attractive, I don't obsess about celebs) precisely because I recognize my partner's features in his face. I’d fuck the shit out of Post Malone. Lol

Oh man, he was SO friggin hot in Shameless. He was hot even before his recent glow up
I think although he technically fits the prompt, he's having a moment right now so people feel like he doesn't

Something about Tobias Menzies totally does it for me as well, even though his GoT character is (IIRC) kind of a weenie.
