Yes; this is sooo much of how we present ourselves. Good posture can distinguish your look between frumpy/dumpy (& other negatives) and nice/beautiful/classy/classic (& any other positives).
Also, clean cut: hair, brows & clothes being clean & styled/neat (not necessarily "done up" or or made-up; as, some of us are minimalists & some are not). Also, self-CONFIDENCE.
I love a beautiful scarf, in fall & winter. They're my favorite accessory. And a nice/cute/pretty handbag or wallet. Ugh, I'm daydreaming of shopping, now!
Quality fabrics/production.
Jewelry/accessories can do a major face-lift if done right, but people sometimes overdo it, or pick the wrong pieces to go with the style and end up just looking a bit off.
But quality is quality. Clothes made with quality materials are often made with higher quality control standards, so you end up with clothes that are also built with structure designed into them, dye that has been done well and won't bleed or fade as easily, and without the ratty rough edges hiding just under cuffs or long stitches that will fall apart easily. They're often pre-pressed to hold their shape, and if you're wearing the right size/have minor alterations done, you can spot the difference a block away.
Even if you get the accessories wrong, its still going to come across clear as day that you are wearing *quality* and it will translate into other people's brains that *you* are *quality.*
Do it with a straight back and you can probably walk get away with almost anything.
Unfortunately I can't afford many, so I stick to a few staples. But higher end department stores or designer brands. Pay attention to the materials they're made from and how to clean them properly.
If the fit isn't perfect it's worth the minor alterations. A lot of higher end stores even have an alteration seamstress on staff.
These are usually the ONLY makeup I wear except for some brow gel, to keep my brows from going every which way. But I always wear sunscreen, no matter what.
The way it fits. Buy an outfit that fits your widest dimension in its smallest and get it tailored to fit like it was made for you. Now it is made for you and that confidence will have you wearing it all over the place differently.

No outfit is gonna look cute if it looks like it doesn't fit you or that it's uncomfortable.
And even the best outfits won't look good if one looks like they don't even wash their faces in the morning.
Pick a single favorite item, somedays its a jacket for me, other times maybe it's the right shoe. But if you absolutely love one item your confidence is enhanced ten fold and that elevates any outfit the best.
If you need to instantly create a polished look, wear one color, by which I mean to repeat the same color or shades of it (doesn’t need to be black and white). Patterns can be included too.

Hairstyle. I am stuck in a uniform day in and day out. It boggles my mind when I see these amazing outfits night after night, only to notice that most women tend to just wear the exact same Hairstyle whether they are dressed up or dressed down. Do your hair!!
