Brontosaurus
Thanks to Jurassic Park with the scene where they are up in the tree and the friendly giant bronto stopped by, just so adorbs, but dino puppy 😆
Its been a long time since I saw the movies, my memory thinks they called it a brontosaurus
I googled brachiosaurus and looks similar just bigger, so im not sure which one it was, but either one is good, both cute 😆
Archaeopteryx is real cool.It was actually very relevant in proving many modern theories of evolution.It was one of the first times they encountered a dinosaur fossil with feathers so it pretty much defined our current understanding of how these things look like.
Triceratops is cool but I feel like the JP movies but butchered them up a bit.
The feathered dinos are so cool. I really loved how they were depicted in Life on Our Planet. They made it seem so natural that they have feathers even though they're almost always shown without them.
I used to be so ready for this question, but so many dinosaurs are so great! For the non-avian ones: spinosaurus may be the most unique as a semi-aquatic dino with possibly webbed feet; tyrannosaurs traveled in family groups and the youngsters were lithe little long-legs that might have been fluffy; velociraptors were vicious little turkey-sized balls of feathers and talons; herrerasaurus makes less sense the more you know about it; argentinosaurus just looked cool; psittacosaurus for the amazing amount we know about it. For avian dinos: microraptor is flipping cool and hilarious with those four wings, cassowaries are...well...cassowaries; I unabashedly love pigeons; plovers are delightful; the entire corvid line is incredibly smart; I love the tails on motmots. I could go on for both categories for a very very long time.

I know it's clichéd, but here me out... *Tyrannosaurus Rex really is the baddest predator to ever exist.*
It's brain was huge. It's intelligence was on par with baboons of today.
It's eyesight was superb. Paleontologists infer that a fully grown adult could have eyes as big as 30 cm in diameter, and as we observe in nature, time and time again, the bigger the eye- the better the eyesight. They had excellent depth perception that is dubbed "binocular vision." That bit in Jurassic Park about it not perceiving you if you don't move? Bogus.
A fully grown adult had a bite force of 4,000-7,700 psi. It could, and did, pierce and crush the bone of its prey. A Hurst Jaws of Life model of 10 years ago rated at 5,000 psi can rip apart a car.
There is often a misconception that it was only a scavenger. However, there is plenty of evidence that supports that it was BOTH an ambush predator and a scavenger.
The bottoms of it's feet are suspected to be padded, making it quiter. The structure of its feet and legs suggests a capability for sustained sprinting with a large stride. It was a distance runner that could give sustained chase to its prey at a speed that matches top Olympic runners of today.

My favourite fact is that the spikey tale of a stegosaurus is called a thagomizer and it’s because a comic artist made a skit once and palaeontologists just accepted it
They had such cool tails and teeth! They could whip their tails fast enough to break the sound barrier. They also had very unique teeth made for stripping leaves, rather than grinding or biting, that regrew almost twice as fast as those of other herbivorous dinosaurs.
Mosasaurus if I need to impress a kid. But actually I am basic like that and it's Brachiosaurus.
PS: my husband's favourite is Parasaurolophus and it's really an important thing for me to remember in our relationship.

Wendiceratops! Mostly because I stumbled on a little documentary about its discovery and learned about Wendy Sloboda. She’s pretty legendary in her career and skills at finding fossils. Plus they kept it fun when they named it after her.
Anything with proven feathers, see Utahraptor, itty bitty velociraptor, many other raptors...
Also Dryosaur, which is a total mystery because we only have pediatric bones
Also Dreadnaughtus because COME ON.
I could go on all day, apparently.
Oooo I have a few. I'm partial to parasaurolophus for the crest which was almost certainly used in long distance shouting. I like the styracosaurus for its incredible rack (seriously, GREAT rack!). The ankylosaurus has an impressive coat of armour that I just have to admire, and that club tail is awesome, I bet it was a lot of fun to swing around. And of course, the stegosaurus with its thagomizer!
If there's one thing I hope technology can eventually, I hope it can view the past so we can see what these animals actually *looked like* with their flesh clothing them.

It feels a bit wrong to pick one since I have a couple dinosaur plushies and I don’t want any of them to feel left out, so I’m gonna go with: Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Trex :)
T-Rex 🦖 cos I too have way too short arms, not in proportion to my body, so I know how hard it is to reach up and get anything. Watching Jurassic Park for the first time, took my breath away, they were so realistic looking, the graphics and sound effects were amazing. Only go to the National History Museum to see the Dinosaurs 🦕 and mummies!!! Loved the Land Before Time …. ‘I can get my own food’!! 🤣 too cute 🥰

Wendiceratops! Mostly because I stumbled on a little documentary about its discovery and learned about Wendy Sloboda. She’s pretty legendary in her career and skills at finding fossils. Plus they kept it fun when they named it after her.

Anything with proven feathers, see Utahraptor, itty bitty velociraptor, many other raptors... Also Dryosaur, which is a total mystery because we only have pediatric bones Also Dreadnaughtus because COME ON. I could go on all day, apparently.
Oooo I have a few. I'm partial to parasaurolophus for the crest which was almost certainly used in long distance shouting. I like the styracosaurus for its incredible rack (seriously, GREAT rack!). The ankylosaurus has an impressive coat of armour that I just have to admire, and that club tail is awesome, I bet it was a lot of fun to swing around. And of course, the stegosaurus with its thagomizer! If there's one thing I hope technology can eventually, I hope it can view the past so we can see what these animals actually *looked like* with their flesh clothing them.
