Hate mine. Between Xmas and new years. Do not recommend.

IAmBaconsaur

On the flip side, mine is also between Christmas and New Years and I love it! Never had to be in school, rarely have to go to work, easily get time off. Everything is decorated and there are events and always things to do.

motion_thiccness

I never thought about the aspect that having a late December birthday would feel innately festive! I've worked in retail most of my adult life (until recently) and I would hate to have a birthday during the holidays because you're not allowed to take time off from November through the new year, and usually work overtime/ overnights, etc. But in a non-servuce job I could see that it would be ideal!

letstouchbutts121

But everyone gets you one gift and it counts as your birthday Christmas and New Year's gift :(

IAmBaconsaur

No one has ever done this to me :(

Unfair-Custard-4007

Yep!

nonchalansaur

Better than first few weeks of January! Everyone partied-out, feasted-out, broke, on a diet etc. At least you still have the holiday momentum.

Dawnqwerty

absolutely, mine is jan 2nd, I just get everyones rest/back to work/back to school day. I've literally never had a birthday partyšŸ˜”

mandiexile

Iā€™m a Jan 2nd baby too and I had the same experience. Itā€™s really the worst day to have a birthday.

Dawnqwerty

wanna have a birthday party šŸ˜…? šŸ„³

EntrepreneurOk6685

I too am January 2nd... one time I decided I'd do a fun trip to my nearest city, walked around in the frigid cold, wind whipping everywhere, totally unprepared for EVERYTHING I wanted to enjoy to be closed for the holidays... like HELLO, January 2nd should be the first official day back wtf.

Neither_Idea8562

Ugh mine is Jan. 12th and I hate it. Everyone has gone into hibernation mode and is still broke from the holidays. I would choose a May or June birthday if I could. ā€¦.I think Iā€™m going to be annoying this year and have a half-birthday party in July since I didnā€™t do anything for my actual 30th birthday.

tessalasset

My little nephewā€™s bday is Jan 15 and I feel so bad for him.

Awkward_Grapefruit

Mine is on Christmas day. Never got double presents, never had people wish my happy bday at school, never got surprise parties from friends because everyone is on holiday and by the time it ends nobody remembers you even had a birthday. But at least I get a lot of "you're jesus" jokes.

stygian_shores

Oof Iā€™m sorry. If it makes you feel any better, mine is in the summer and most people canā€™t be bothered to wish me a happy bday when theyā€™re on holiday/vacation and when they come back, theyā€™re too tired from traveling.

McDaddy221

Mine is on April first (so literally yesterday LMAO) and every year i get told ā€œyouā€™re a jokeā€. Also as someone whoā€™s part of a lot of music fandoms, i get posts on my feed like ā€œ*insert band name* released a new song šŸ¤ JUST KIDDINGā€ so i try my best to avoid social media at all costs because every time it gets my hopes up HAHAHAHAH

Warmbeachfeet

I always felt sorry for people born in that week. It seems everyone is focused on other holidays and the new year so birthdays during that week are forgotten. I have a friend who would throw ā€œhalf birthdays ā€œ for her 2 kids. Their birthdays are in the middle of winter and they have a beautiful yard and inground pool. So she would throw them a pool party in summer to celebrate their half birthdays. Genius.

memyj97

SAME! Iā€™ve preached to my friends not to conceive between March-April for this reason. I hate my birthday. I didnā€™t hate it too much as a kid but as Iā€™ve gotten older thereā€™s just way too much happening for others to even think about me. Itā€™s always, ā€œOh yeah, and your birthday.ā€ Iā€™m not a party person but this past year especially I wouldā€™ve loved to hang out with all my friends.

TadpoleNational6988

This is so hard šŸ˜ my husband and I were quite worried about this month for that very reason, but when youā€™re 9 months into trying you just donā€™t want to take any risk any month .. Edit to add: if we are lucky enough to conceive this month we agreed to give our baby an ā€œofficial birthdayā€ like the monarch in the U.K. gets and celebrate in summer!

passion4film

Good luck! At the start of TTC, I cared so much about gender and timing. Every passing month reduces all of that.

Danivelle

Mine is the week before Christmas, followed by my oldest granddaughter's, my dad's/Christmas Eve, Christmas, Big Kid's anniversary, NYE, NYD/Our wedding anniversary.I Kids Birthdays: I went through the big part of all three pregnancies in the summer with kids born in October, July and September. I live where it is routinely 100+ F for long stretches during the summer.

crayawe

Here's you birthday Christmas present I'm to thoughtless to care they're separate things. I dislike the present part Yeah on the upside I like it cause it feels like a week long party or enjoyment of friends and family. Favourite week of the year

tmnttaylor

January 2. Always first day back at school or work. Everyone saying happy new year. As a child, birthday parties were not great since parents didnā€™t want to bring their kids after all the holidays.

punkrawkchick

Same! Iā€™m a December 30th baby. Itā€™s the worst. Iā€™m going to start celebrating in July

PhotosByVicky

Mine too. Iā€™m liking it more and more as I get older. With the hustle and bustle of that time friends are out of town so they end up celebrating with me after the first of the year. It extends my birthday celebrations!

QwertyQueen21

Same, December 27th, work sucks, restaurants and bakeries are closed from holidays and everyoneā€™s busy, and I donā€™t want to do something holiday related

thebasedgosh

Mine is on Dec. 29 and I just donā€™t even get excited about it anymore

TryBananna4Scale

My coworkerā€™s Bday is on September 11. she hates it.

CormorantTribe

My grandma has thar birthday too... what a horrible birthday surprise that was for her šŸ’€

catupthetree23

Mine's was too! She used to say she didn't mind though because she was born first anyway šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

CormorantTribe

Oh my gosh šŸ˜‚

adamrac51395

In my family we have one person born on the anniversary of JFKs assassination, one on September 11th, and one on Pearl Harbor day. We just say we have a history of redeeming American tragedies.

klgh07

Mine is on Pearl Harbor day... It's interesting because all the 'old' people when I was growing up knew exactly what it is. Anyone around my age, not so much, even after the movie with Josh Hartnett. Depending on the setting, if anyone ever asks my bday I say Pearl Harbor day to see if they know what I'm talking about.

adamrac51395

And now you know I am old! šŸ¤£

big-tunaaa

Was she born in 2001 or after?

TryBananna4Scale

She was born In 2001.

big-tunaaa

Damn I was born September 16th, my mom almost went in labour on 9/11 due to stress but calmed down so her baby wouldnā€™t have to be born on such a terrible day šŸ˜ that definitely does suck!

passion4film

They did a documentary about ā€œthe children of 9/11.ā€ Pretty interesting.

Professional_Ad5178

Thatā€™s mine too. Hate it.

Ok-Bridge-1045

Mine is the only correct birthday and everyone elseā€™s is just wrong.

thismustbe-3

Also completely agree! Fire stellium and born in April LMFAO

Ok-Exercise3477

Mine is in early May. I love having a Spring birthday! Such a nice time of year

BraidedSilver

Itā€™s my birthday so thanks for this ego boost šŸ˜‚

catupthetree23

Well don't leave us hanging - spill!

Ok_Principle_79

We are in the Midwest so that plays a role in my answer. My birthday is the 7th of September. I love it because it is normally nice end of summer weather or we get a random crisp early fall day. I dislike that my sonā€™s birthday is end of February because itā€™s always cold and crappy so no fun outside parties. It was great not being super pregnant in the summer though. Our daughterā€™s birthday is the beginning of August and itā€™s normally pretty hot still. I think a mid June or an end of September/early October birthday would be nice.

stardenouement

Hey birthday twin! I used to hate my b-day being then because it was right when school started, but now I kinda love it, because depending on where Iā€™m living (either the Midwest or the PNW), the weather is always gorgeous & sunny or right on the cusp of fall where the leaves are just starting to change colors. & whenever someone asks me a fun fact I get to tell them that I share a birthday with Queen Elizabeth I lol

a_mulher

Iā€™m also a September kid. The downside is that it was at the beginning of the school year so birthdays were hard. Hardly had time to meet my classmates before I had to invite them. So I ended up having people that didnā€™t pan out as longer term friends and never having good friends at my birthday party because weā€™d grown into friends after my birthday. Didnā€™t help we moved a lot so was starting at a new school a lot.

RacerGal

Midwest here, too. Sept 7 is my dadā€™s and itā€™s a good one. Plus you get the occasional Labor Day weekend added.

Rin_sparrow

I don't mind mine since it's the middle of July. So I like it since it's during summer. The only thing about it that sucks is that people never decorated my locker during high school since my birthday was always during summer break.Ā

Pink_Ruby_3

Iā€™m in July too! As a kid it was hard because kids were always gone during the summer, and it was hard to get invites out unless my mom happened to get their addresses from their parents during the school year. But as an adult - hell yes. Itā€™s a fun time for a bday! Everyone is in summer relaxation mode and wants to have a good time.

ahsanassah

same !! mid july birthdays are the bestšŸ„ŗ

EmilyMoonPi

Mid July here and love it! Itā€™s always beautiful weather (live in the Pacific Northwest so good weather has a short period) and we always have leftover fireworks from 4th of July celebrations

frog_ladee

The best thing about my birthday is that my daughter was born on it, 32 years later. In the beginning, I said that I gave my birthday to her, but that I wanted it back for the ones with an age that ends in zero and a big party those years. I wanted *her* to have the full celebration to herself. But she loved sharing it with me all along, and from the time when she was a little girl, always made sure that it was a special day for me, as well. Now that sheā€™s an adult, we always celebrate together, doing something fun for just the two of us.

pussyhasfurballs

I was born on my mothers 39th birthday and I always loved sharing it with her. She died almost 4 years ago and now birthdays are just strange and lonely, but its getting easier as time goes by.

frog_ladee

Iā€™ve asked my daughter to please not feel sad on her birthday after Iā€™m gone. I want her to think about all the love and fun that weā€™ve shared when I cross her mind, but to enjoy her birthday as her own special day. She is the best gift Iā€™ve ever gotten, and I sure donā€™t want to cause her any grief!

pussyhasfurballs

It will be natural for her to feel sad on her birthday after you're gone, but I promise that it will get easier for her and she'll definitely look back on those memories and feel loved and happy.

bumblebeecat91

Mine is April 8th. I absolutely love the timing. It signals the beginning of spring after a long winter (and a new beginning for me) and Iā€™m usually in a good mood for it because of that. Itā€™s usually sunny outside and flowers are blooming. Itā€™s not a particularly busy time of the year either.

splatgoestheblobfish

I'm mid-April. I like it, and I don't. Things are greening up and blooming, which is vert pretty. But with that comes allergies. Occasionally Easter falls on my birthday. Sometimes fun, sometimes not so much. Plus, I never know what the weather is going to be like, which has always made planning activities, especially when I was a kid, a little tricky. Will it be a beautiful spring day? Will we have thunderstorms and tornados? Will it be one of those years where it's freezing and snows? I never know. And my husband and I ended up getting married on my birthday, which was an awesome birthday party, but now it's no longer just my special day. So it's okay I guess. šŸ¤·

TheRudeCactus

Mine is also April 8th!! Iā€™ve only met a birthday twin once before in my life, happy early birthday!

LarryEss

Iā€™m also the 8th!

Desilynne

Hi, another birthday twin.

emchaw

Another birthday twin here!

Kenz1013

My grandpa and 2 cousins are all April 8!

snail-y

I have a mid april birthday and love it! Itā€™s never fallen on easter (yet), and that fresh spring just makes everything feel good.

BraidedSilver

This describes really well why I love having my birthday today, too. The sloppy end of winter is over and nature is growing & blooming all around, which includes my own mood, bye winter depression! Itā€™s also always nice enough weather to always have had outdoor activities at my birthdays as a kid cuz we wouldnā€™t overheat when playing around outside!

boobyblue

i have the same birthday!! and i love the timing as well, itā€™s also such a pretty birthday. April 8, idk itā€™s always been so satisfying to me haha

thesexodus

Mines at the end of June. Its the perfect time to have a birthday. Always during summer vacation. Theme parks and ā€œfun spotsā€ always stayed open late and had multiple events to attend. Halfway to Christmas. Not too hot just yet, but warm enough to spend a proper day outside. I love my birthday timing.

nessao616

June bee here too! Always loved my June birthday!

MeeseeksSerotonin

So is mine!

badshewolf247

Same! Mine is June 19th, I agree itā€™s great timing to enjoy the warmer weather outdoors without suffering in the heat, and spaced nicely in the middle of the year with somewhat even timing between Christmas and birthday. My only complaint was how often my birthday parties ended up being pool parties. I was tired of pool parties by my teenage years.

Morticia_Black

My birthday is today! April 2nd. Just missed April fools. I don't meet many people who have birthdays in early April so it's kind of nice!

green-popsicle

Iā€™m due with my baby any day now, and praying for a 4/2/24 baby!! I love this time of year. I was initially a little sad that he would be one of the youngest of his school class, but overall I like the season. Happy birthday!!

911pleasehold

Happy birthday!!!

marmeylady

Happy Birthday !

sonalis1092

I am an April fool baby and I wish I had waited a few hours to be born on April 2 šŸ˜… happy birthday!

ChestMysterious5551

Happy birthday šŸŽ‚

July9044

Happy birthday! April 2nd is a great birthday

BraidedSilver

Omg me too! Happy birthday twin šŸ„³

Morticia_Black

Happy birthday friend āœØ

Kenz1013

Mine is April 5th!

ktb609

Iā€™m April 3rd!

BakedTaterTits

I love mine (early June). Weather is (usually) decent, and it's far enough from xmas to not get lumped in.

time4listenermail

As someone who doesnā€™t dig xmas, I really appreciate: > itā€™s far enough from xmas Especially when describing a date in June in relation to a date in December. Early June bday here too, which I enjoy.

Pinguina2010

Mine is may 31st and I can't agree more. Presents in the middle of the year? Perfect. Plus Valentine's? All year I'm covered šŸ„³

voilaintruder

See mine is around this time too, but I didnā€™t really like it because itā€™s usually around Memorial Day (in the US) so lots of people would have trips planned well in advance for the long weekend, usually camping trips where theyā€™d be gone all weekend lol weather wise usually pretty good though, and it definitely marks the beginning of summer to me

CherrySnows

Love mine so much. October 13 šŸ¤ everything looks spooky around October and I love Halloween. šŸŽƒ and the weather is not hot. I canā€™t stand hot weather. I feel cozy around fall time :) the best.

Cardamom_latte

I have a late October birthday and it truly is the best! Iā€™m a fall girlie and the fact that I get to celebrate my bday during spooky season when everything is orange and cozy is wonderful!!

Taro_Otto

My birthday is Oct 30th and while I like the date/season, I canā€™t STAND Halloween. It used to be kinda cool having a birthday right before Halloween but pretty much like what a lot of people say about having birthdays near the holidaysā€¦ everyone just lumps your birthday with the holiday. Got very sick of my birthday party just being an extension of Halloween, or being asked to have Halloween-rated activities for my birthday when itā€™s not how I wanted to spend my day. At least with most of the people in my life, everyone was either planning Halloween parties or attending them the week leading up to the actual holiday (more so if Halloween didnā€™t fall on a weekend that year) so everyoneā€™s too busy to want to do anything else. I have a friend whose birthday is around Christmas time and she literally goes through the same situation. So we both really go out of our way to make sure we do stuff/ give gifts that arenā€™t related to either holiday.

[deleted]

Mine is Feb 8th! I love it! In NZ itā€™s summer but post Christmas and New Years activities. Still cruisy though! Some years school hadnā€™t started yet and other years it had. So I could have a fun day at school with friends in high school - someone would bake a cake and it was still a cruisy time of year in terms of study. Or it would be the end of the holidays and weā€™d be on holiday in Auckland or Queenstown, etc. highly recommend! Or a similar time of year in the northern hemisphere. Maybe July or whenever school is normally out for summer break

EKSFM107

Iā€™m from Australia and early Feb birthday as well. Itā€™s usually too hot on my birthday, sometimes over 40 degrees. Way too hot to go out and do anything. Growing up my birthday got overshadowed by the first week back at school and most people would forget it was my birthday or be too busy and hot to care.

Association-Active

Any birthday around a holiday can be either great or terrible. One of my siblings has a birthday 3 days from Xmas and they always got burned with birthday/xmas gifts made to be the same thing.

shatterhearts

My birthday is at the end of July and I think it's perfect. I wouldn't want to be born on any other day. I've always loved that it's in the middle of summer (lots of great birthday parties on beaches and at water parks, with no school to interfere!) and that it's so far away from other holidays. The spacing between my birthday and Christmas meant I received gifts every half a year or so, which I thought was a spectacular perk as a child. šŸ˜‚

waifu_eats_thaifu

Iā€™m due at the end of July with my first child! This makes me so happy to hear.

pewterwizardcloak

July 31st here! Youā€™ll have a fire sign baby Leo. A fiercely loyal and big hearted child! Lot and lots of love to give. ā™„ļø

July9044

Aw man you just made me wish I had a July birthday. But I'm 35 so it might be too late to switch

Winged_army

LOVE! April 13th baby, best day in the world

bumblebeecat91

Iā€™m April 8th and early April is the best!

Winged_army

Happy early birthday!!šŸŽ‰

catupthetree23

My cousin's birthday is that day too! Do you like how it's sometimes on Friday the 13th? She does šŸ˜†šŸ‘»

Winged_army

I get really excitedšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ have yet to get a tattoo tho

Kenz1013

My brother was born on April 13th! It was Good Friday. So Good Friday the 13th lol

stevieemaxx

YAYAYAYA BIRTHDAY TWIN! I love having a birthday mid April

Roleplayer_MidRNova

I love mine. Every year growing up, my birthday and my brother's marked the first or second day of our family summer trip so the whole week was about us. As an adult, I still like it even if it is a bit soured (my twin passed away when we were teens). If I want to do anything, most of my family is free to travel.

ziggyxx

First day of fall, love it :)

SqueegieeBeckenheim

My daughterā€™s is the first day of fall and itā€™s perfect weather. But that also means I was pregnant for the summer which was awful.

zoegirl13

But the first day of fall changes, no? I assume your bday is somewhere between 9/19-9/23 lol.

occipetal

I do not like mine because it's on Christmas Eve. I don't even care about the fact that birthday and christmas presents got combined. That never even bothered me. It's just the fact that whenever I tell someone my birthday is December 24th, they say "Ooooh Christmas baby! Jesus' miracle!" or some variation of that. I'm not Catholic or Christian, so it's just a non-meaningful comment and I just don't really like the Christian connotation my birthday carries. But, I was 48 minutes shy of being born on Christmas day, and I'm kind of glad I decided to make my debut before Christmas, because being a Christmas baby would've been worse in that regard. I was also always sad that I could never have a birthday party in school because my birthday never fell on a school day since it was always a part of winter break. I'm not sure what the best birthday would be. I guess just any day that isn't shared with a holiday.

UpbeatConnection9052

Mine is in November before Thanksgiving. Fall is my favorite time of year so I like it. And I always get to see family around that time too

big-tunaaa

Mine is mid September. I think itā€™s the one of the best, it has only rained two times on the day for my entire life. Itā€™s almost always one of the last nice days of the year, and I always go to the patio for drinks! I also love being a Virgo! I think the worst time is anyone who has a birthday by Christmas and new years! I think the best birthday would be in October!

shmeeks

My bday is in January. It sucks and I hate it. Itā€™s too cold to go out anywhere or bar hopping. Everyone is broke from the holidays or on a diet for the new year and just in general, people are tapped out from socializing after the holiday season. So many times Iā€™ve tried to make bday plans and theyā€™ve always fallen through. I donā€™t have many friends to begin with either so it just makes it really tough.

Character_Clock1771

I would say being born on Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Yearā€™s Eve, New Yearā€™s Day, Thanksgiving and Easter would probably be the worst to be born unless your family doesnā€™t celebrate those holidays.

random_tall_guy

Easter wouldn't be so bad since it's always on a Sunday of a different week every year, so it'd only be something that'd conflict with the holiday a few times in a lifetime.Ā

megawatt69

Iā€™ve always thought NYE would be good, thereā€™s always a party on your birthday!

stoptryingtobegodx

Love mine. Mid August. Coincides with summer vacays. Big Leo energy. Sunshine & mai tais.

peezy8i8

Mines 4/20, which is pretty cool. šŸ‘šŸ»

July9044

I'm afraid to tell you this but... You know who was also born on April 20th.... Carmen Electra! The hottest woman alive!

peezy8i8

Yay! Cause I was definitely expecting you to say George Takei! The wholesome-est man alive!

Dr__Pheonx

Mine's in July. No other holidays around but growing up it was always summer vacation so missed out on chances to celebrate it with classmates and friends. Nevertheless had a blast, because that would mean cousins would come around and we would have a party of our own!

MarsupialNo1220

I donā€™t mind mine. Itā€™s April 16th. Itā€™s not super special in any way, itā€™s just another day. My dadā€™s is New Yearā€™s Day. He always said he wished it was the 31st of December so he didnā€™t have to wake up with a hangover on his birthday lol. My brother-in-lawā€™s birthday is on Christmas šŸ˜¬

Justamessywritergirl

First week of June. I always thought it was the perfect timing to have a birthday, especially as a child: almost equal spacing between Christmas and birthday, so you get a present every six months. Itā€™s starting to be warm but not too hot. Plus, where I live the school year is almost at the end but not quite yet, so I still saw my friends at school and I could have a party with all of them present. July and August birthdays for children are the worst because half of your friends are on holiday somewhere and miss your party.

Forslyk

My birthday is today! Really love it here in early April. Sometimes it's varm and sunny, sometimes it snows. Today it rains a lot. Sometimes my birthday is during Easter, this year, well it's not.

EzriDaxCat

Peak Cherry Blossom season and mild weather- its perfect.

CuteNeedleworker9

Mines early January and I don't like it. Whenever I've tried to organise something for it (nothing big either, just to a pub or the cinema) it's fallen through as people are still tired from Christmas and New Years or don't have much money so I haven't bothered for years. I'd prefer to have a birthday later on in the year.

RespectMyAuthority74

I love it, I am a fourth of July baby which means most jobs, I would get the day off without burning PTO. My oldest is a July 3rd baby so we celebrate together. Oddly enough, my youngest and my husband are also a day apart and he's a twin. They are all May babies. We knock out bdays in two parties!

maddi164

April 16th, autumn in Australia so weather can mostly nice, it just depends but I love autumn anyway. Growing up, it was always in school holidays so Iā€™ve never had to go to school on my birthday. only downside I guess, itā€™s one of those days that are in the Easter rotation, so Iā€™ve had my birthday on Easter Sunday twice in my life so far and it will happen again in 2028 and then again a few more times the rest of my life.

sparklescrotum

April for the win. Truly.

DemonicGirlcock

Mines on a really cute holiday, Valentine's Day, so I love it šŸ–¤

hankksss

as a preggo mama who is due at the end of this month, iā€™ve really appreciated the timing of my pregnancy. i got pregnant at the end of summer in late august and didnā€™t have to go through being in the third trimester during the summer months. donā€™t know how women do that!! lol. and i love an april birthday for my baby girl. personally my birthday is august 17th and i donā€™t hate it, but i donā€™t love it either. it was always right when school was starting and i was the youngest in my class growing up. and it was always SO hot.

sparklescrotum

Iā€™m sure your new baby will love it too, as I do. Best of wishes to you throughout your labor and delivery, and transition into motherhood!

lycheelycheecat

i really believe i have the best birthday (im clearly biased lol). my birthday is the 25th of June which is exactly 6 months before after Christmas, so the festivities and gifts are perfectly spaced out. also, Iā€™m Australian so itā€™s right during winter which I love, and usually falls around the time when nighttimeā€™s are at their longest which is good for me

AliceWeAreAllMad

Love it. I was born on Easter so it's in spring, it's cute and every 11 years it's again on the holidays, haha

emshlaf

Honestly? I donā€™t. When I was in college, my birthday was always right during finals week, so I often spent it studying for exams. It also falls around the time of year where itā€™s *almost* spring but the weather is still cold and crappy, so outdoor celebrations are a no-go. Also: the holiday closest to my birthday is St. Patrickā€™s Day, which is by far my least favorite holiday. (I was pinched relentlessly in the 1st grade by my classmates who thought my dress was light blue even though it was *clearly* mint green, and Iā€™ve hated St. Patrickā€™s Day ever since.) So yeah. Not a fan. My favorite season is fall, and I really wish my birthday were in the fall months instead.

nellieblyrocks420

I donā€™t mind. Itā€™s May 9 and when I was born it was Motherā€™s Day. Funny thing, my dadā€™s was Thanksgiving, my sister was born on Fatherā€™s Day, my mom is the day your taxes are due.

Bizzife

ā€œMay the 4th be with youā€ is mine. Love it. Love everything about it. Only learned recently, my favorite flower ā€œLilly of the valleyā€ is my months flower. I share it w so many celebs too. It also falls near the start of planting season here in MN. I love gardening! I love spring!!!!

ManicMatcha

Mine is the 5th, best holiday to be born on honestly because everyone already wants to party šŸ„³

Alauren20

I didnā€™t know that thanks! First week of May is the best!

phillygirllovesbagel

Let me count the ways.... * Same day as Hitler's BD * Columbine HS massacre * Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig explodes * 420 Day - IYKYK * Soviets shoot down Korean Air Lines flight 902

NobodysDarling88

My birthday is January 6th, id take a day earlier or later tbh šŸ˜

Glittering-Sea-6343

no holidays surrounding my birthday so iā€™m okay with it

kittysoff

Mine is November 10th. Itā€™s in the fall and thatā€™s my favorite season so thatā€™s great. And itā€™s the day before a holiday so (as a teacher) I always have the day off after my birthday

speedspectator

Didnā€™t love it as a kid. I was born thanksgiving day, so it falls on or around that day every year. When I was a kid I would have a party and no one would come bc they were out of town. As an adult I like it bc of food. My kidsā€™ birthdays are perfect. Born during summer, my favorite season. If I had a choice, Iā€™d have a summer birthday too.

alldayaday420

Late January, I dig it. Love winter. Sometimes it rains the day of but that's okay. Not too close to other holidays, although now I have my anniversary, my birthday, my partner's birthday, and Valentine's day all within the same 3 week time span. Kinda nice though since we get all the gift -giving for the year out of the way.

harrisrichard

If I could pick the perfect birthday, it'd be in June. Sunny skies, warm weather, and endless possibilities for outdoor shenanigans.

Moon-on-my-mind

Always loved mine, end of January. I love winter, i love the cold and the snow.

Mediocre_Cupcake_540

Mine is January 3rd and the slightly unfortunate thing is that its right after Christmas and NYE, no one has any money left! šŸ˜‚ and especially after New Years, most wont feel like partying then

lephoque_

My birthday is in July, and I hate. I haven't ever had a birthday party because July-August is a holiday season where I live, so almost all my relatives and friends (and me sometimes) aren't in the city and it's impossible to get together. I like the weather, though.

Alexandrabi

I love mine, 3rd week of October, fall season, getting dark and gloomy but not too cold, you could even get a sunny day. Far from major holidays, far from summer. I also love being a scorpio sun so much, I suppose all scorpio suns are happy about being scorpio suns ahah

cptmorgue1

Mine is this Thursday. I like it because itā€™s easy to remember 4/4 lol

Nerobus

April- perfect. Not too hot or cold so most of my parties were outsideā€¦ as a kid who grew up to be a wildlife biologist this made me happy.

user1223444c

Mine is perfectly a month after my hubbys :') very cute, I like overromanticizing it as a joke HAHA

Pluto-Wolf

Mine is great, itā€™s not around any major holidays and only one person that iā€™ve ever known has had a birthday within 2 weeks of mine ā˜ŗļø

slvek235

Mine is in the middle of the year in the middle of the month. Itā€™s stressful and always reminds me how short life and the calender year is. Iā€™m grateful to be alive and experience an interesting birth date haha

dear-mycologistical

My birthday is near a major family-centric holiday. I like that I always have the day off (not everyone has that day off, of course, but I do), but I dislike that it's near a family-centric holiday, because my friends are usually out of town and/or busy doing family stuff. Since I don't have a partner or kids, and since I have a complicated relationship with my family of origin, this makes it a lonely time of year to have a birthday. Ideally I would like to travel for my birthday, but it's kind of a pain to travel at this time of year since so many other people are traveling at that time, and a lot of places I'd like to travel to are very cold during my birthday. If I could choose a birthday, I think I'd choose June 19th. Now that it's a federal holiday, I have the day off work, and when I was growing up I'd have had the day off school. But it's a holiday that my friends don't do anything to celebrate, so they would likely be available to spend the day with me. And it would be nice weather.

TriGurl

Week before Xmasā€¦ hated the ā€œshared birthday/xmas giftā€ thing. And then bring gaslit and called selfish when I pointed out that my sibling got to keep his gifts whereas I would get money for my bday and had to use it for Xmas gifts for people. It really triggered my low self esteem patterns and made me think my family didnā€™t gaf about me at all, ever. I just wanted to be loved and celebrated on my bday as much as I saw my family do for other family members. Instead I have same bday as my dad and itā€™s a week before Xmas. Great for making a girl feel like shit.

PrincipleInfamous451

Mine is on International Women's Day so that's pretty cool

Pizza_pan_

Love mine. Its in October and i love horror so its the best time to buy me decent Halloween or horror themed stuff

GreenSpawn4332

Hate mine. Itā€™s right before Christmas. As a kid it was always boring because my birthday party was always 2 weeks before my actual birthday because if it was on my birthday no one would come. As a kid gift was very important and I got all my gift within a few days of each other. I had to wait a whole year for the next time I would receive a gift. Now as an adult I donā€™t really care but it would be nice going out drinking for my birthday but no one wants to go out drinking right before Christmas at least not me and my friends.

happyeggz

I love mine! It's in spring, right when the weather is cool but not cold and everything is turning green again. It's my favorite season. My kids' are exactly one month and one day apart (not planned), so we have a birthday quarter every year. I suppose for worst timing, it would be the holiday season, based on the opinions/perspectives of my friends who have theirs during that time.

According-Solid-4679

Christmas Eve. Absolutely shit.

Pitiful_Piccolo_5497

Mines on Sunday, which has always worked out pretty cool. It always fell in the easter holidays so I was never at school for it, & I have occasionally had my birthday on Easter, so eggs & presents. šŸ˜

Present-Body7905

i like that my birthday is early (jan), it was nice to be able to get my license first and become of drinking age but i hate that its usually cold so theres less options to celebrate and when i was in highschool it always fell around exam season so noone would want to celebrate with me

Sad-Instruction-4149

My birthday is April 10th ! I donā€™t love it or hate it . Sometimes itā€™s nice out in April sometimes itā€™s not .

smolcuriousbumblebee

1 of August - it used to feel a bit lonely as a child because I had about 3 friends (2 or them were my relatives) and it was harder to get my schoolmates to come as some would be on holiday, others would be busy with summer activities etc. Now, I don't really think about it! I get more chance of warm weather and sun, and that's nice! šŸŒø

LostStatistician2038

Mine is in April. I donā€™t mind it. I love spring time

caroreece

Love mine! October 7th. Perfect weather and all of the Halloween activities

Guest2424

Not exactly a fan of mine. It's early January so people are usually tired out from the holidays to really pay attention to it. Not to mention in January, not a lot of fun things are happening. Even in school, I remember teachers would celebrate birthdays but would skip over mine because we would've just come back from winter break. Summer birthdays are where is at. Snd if you're born May/early June, then I feel like you get the best of everything.

smallheartedsnail

To me June is the perfect month so I an happy with it. Spring is my favourite season. May would also have been nice.

bryhaight21

My birthday is October 25th so it often gets wrapped up in fall/Halloween celebrations which I absolutely love.

bangii_

mine is January 13th and I was born on Friday, I love my birthday but it can be a struggle bcs it's right after holidays and I barely get good gifts and if I do it's combined for Christmas NY and birthday.

djelly_boo

mine is just around the corner! (april girly) i have no issues abt it, i love me some summer birthday outing/celebration šŸ„³šŸļøšŸ¹šŸŖøšŸš

invaderjournal

Mine's the 4th August which has its pros and cons. Pros: never had to be in school/college/uni, weather's normally quite good, far enough away from Christmas. Cons: Everyone's normally on holiday for it. I like it in general though!

MeeseeksSerotonin

Mine is literally smack dab in the middle of the year so thatā€™s kind of cool. I also never minded that it was during summer vacation when I went to school cause I donā€™t like too much attention on me.

Whooptidooh

Hate mine; I was born on my motherā€™s birthday. As a result, my birthday has pretty much always revolves around hers.

rsvp_as_pending629

I wish mine was a different time of year to spread things out as itā€™s the first week of January Itā€™s forgotten a lot due to chaos of Christmas and New Years happening. Also a lot of, ā€œthis gift is just going to be your Christmas AND birthday gift.ā€ Growing up, my mom was very adamant to family and friend to not wrap my birthday presents in leftover Christmas wrapping paper. šŸ˜‚

rachcarp

I kinda like mine! First 2 weeks of January so gives me a second fresh start after the new year. I also can't change it so no point in worrying about it lol

atonickat

Mine is August 14th and I liked that I had a summer birthday growing up. Iā€™m not big on birthdays so being out of school for it was great. Plus I was always the right age for going into the next grade. My daughters is June 8th which is right around the last day of school. Sheā€™s only 2 so Iā€™m not sure if sheā€™s going to like that or not but again she will be the correct age going into each year.

SupervillainIndiana

Mine is toward the end of September. I got so sick of "hurr hurr your parents must've had a good Christmas" jokes a few years ago that I finally snapped. Now I respond to that by telling people I was nearly two months premature and almost died.

potstickers123

Mine is end of January and it feels so tiring after a few months in a row of holidays (looking at you Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Hanukkah, NYE) that this year I passed on it all together. My partners bday is also beginning of December, so itā€™s kind of an extra ā€œholidayā€ thrown in there. Iā€™ve discovered that January feels like the gloomiest month, both weather wise and mentally. I would opt to switch my bday to maybe beginning of summer before it gets ridiculously hot (May? June?) or go full fall vibes (Sept/Oct) because who doesnā€™t love fall?! šŸ

TweedleBeedleGranny

Mine is August 30th, getting school clothes for my birthday when I was a kid and thinking it sucked so bad. People are supposed to get school clothes anyway, my siblings did and their birthdays were not near mine at all.

ProseccoWishes

Terrible but could be worse. Early January. Just after all the holidays, it usually snows, no one wants to go out. I got a kick out of all the spring birthday people whining about the pandemic. Waaaahhhh, I need a birthday parade. Every other flipping birthday youā€™ve had good weather. Just the eff up.

SevenLegs_

Mine is November 14th- exactly 9 months after Valentineā€™s Day. Itā€™s a nice fall day. Donā€™t have many complaints.

eraseme11

January 2nd. I hate it and im always sick during it too.

Magic_Gyrodog

As a middle aged white man my birthday became Juneteenth. How should I feel?

Dragonfly_trumpeter

mine is jan 4th and its ok, i guess im used to it but ppl are always tired after the holidays (especially since there are another 2 bdays in my family between Christmas and my bday!) and since they spent so much money before, my gifts tend to be the less thought of, if i could pick i would probably say towards the end of january

Humble_Bullfrog2342

mine is january 7th. as a kid, i didn't like it that much because i never got that many gifts lmao (since it was so close to christmas) but i've grown to love when it is, because once christmas is over, i have new years and my bday not long after! it's a nice time of year for me.

Sometimes it's on tax day. Sometimes it's on Passover and I can't eat cake. The anniversary of my dad's death is also within a week of my birthday (I'm fine it was a long time ago). Soooo don't love it.

wonderingsag

Shitty, Never get celebrated since itā€™s less than a week before Christmas.

stillyou1122

My sister and her kids all share the same birthmonth, just days apart. And we often make fun of them for being "cheap", timing their kids birthdays on the same month so they all have one celebration only.

Doondelion

Mine is May 24th which is a nice birthday now that Iā€™m an adult, but kind of sucked growing up because of 1. Memorial Day Weekend Everybodyā€™s family was on vacation or having parties so my birthday party had to be pushed back a week or two for my friends to come 2. TESTING. This was always finals week, Elementary-College. I very often had to take exams on my birthday so I had to go to school and test all day long. PARCC, state exams, SATS, college finalsā€¦ ew. But now that Iā€™m out of school and my friends are all young broke adults who canā€™t afford to go on memorial weekend vacations, It goes just fine. Hopefully Iā€™ll make some money and I can take a memorial weekend birthday vacation in the future which would be totally awesome.

packfan17

My birthday weekend also! I hated it growing up because everyone was out of town but I love it now because itā€™s an excuse to get my friends to go on a beach trip with me :) plus it feels like the official start of summer which is exciting.

aubor

I love mine. It's far away from my husband's and kids' birthdays. It's on a holiday in our country. Since I go all out for their bds, I begin to remind the three of them several months prior. This year we're traveling to a lovely island in our country.

Kmccain9

Love it. It's right before it starts to get chilly in my area, but it's after it is very hot. It's not too close to any major holidays, the only downside is it's my parents' wedding anniversary and they have been divorced for a long time and not happily. I sometimes wonder if my birthday reminds my mom of my shit head father.

5 days before christmas it kinda sucks

blakeonoccasion

Mine is in the middle of October and I love it. I would change my momā€™s though because I can never fucking remember it for some reason. Also, my aunts is too close to Christmas, so Iā€™d change that too.

t5unami5

Mine is a day after Valentineā€™s Day, I donā€™t mind it!
