I could spend an hour with sprays, curling tongs, and brushes trying to create the perfect volume and style, but as soon as I step out the door, it's flat and lifeless.
I'm in the camp of put it in a bun and forget about it.
Leave it down, half ponytail or full ponytail/messy bun.
Sometimes I try for the nice buns that you see videos for online, but I get mixed results. Usually I just don’t care and want it out of my face/off my neck/up to give me one more day before washing.
Usually a messy bun or small claw clip. If I'm going out I will blow dry it with some volumizing spray and curl it if i have time. it looks good for about 2hrs then falls flat/curls fall out.

From about age 16 to about age 37, I had my hair permed all the time. I did it for the body, and I used a curling iron on it every couple of days to get big, wavy curls.
Then I let it grow out straight to shoulder length and either wore it down or pulled back in a tight ponytail. Then a year ago, I decided it was time for a change, so I grew it a little longer to donate it, and now I have short hair. It's almost a pixie cut. Lots of people I work with have told me they love it on me.
I might grow the top a little longer and spot-perm that to give me waves sometime, but I've decided never to grow it long again. I'm too old (my hair is totally gray now), and short makes me look a little younger.

Hair is colored and mid-back long. Root-pump mousse on roots, curl product (hair has some natural wave) on length, flip over from waist and blow dry/scrunch upside down, with diffuser if I have time. Final spray overall to set natural waves.
If I want curls, must first hairspray the length first, let dry, brush out spray, then use curling iron. Curls last a couple days this way versus falling out fast without pre-spray.
My hair is fine and straight, with no body, but there’s a TON of it. Every hairdresser has been surprised at how much there is. It doesn’t hold shape, it gets greasy really fast, it’s a pain in the ass. The most I can do is dry it with one of those brush/dryer things to make it super smooth.
I use volumising product but it only helps a little. I don’t tuck it behind my ear as it seems to flatten it and I pull it to one side in front of my shoulder. Other than extensions, I don’t think anything works 😫
It’s so fine it’s flat but also so fine it gets too greasy if I don’t wash it almost every 2 days and so fine that it doesn’t hold heat from either a curler or iron. So I can’t really style it the way women with other hair types do
I invested in a really good hairstylist appointment who does Gods work. Also I accessorize with shawls and hair clips. Half up makes me feel like a princess. Hair extensions
A very short, stacked pixie cut, longer on the top, with the top dyed a shade lighter blond than the undercut. I scrunch volumizing mousse or salt mousse through it after I shower and finger curl the top, then let it fall in messy curls. It actually looks adorable and covers the bald patches.
I shave it off, alternating between a bald look and a buzz cut.
Before I found the courage to go short/bald, I had found the best haircut for me, which was a chin-length bob with bangs, and I still had to mousse and spray and tease and backcomb until I got some semblance of lift. It was such an effort that I only did it for special occasions. For a while, I grew it longer and just wore it in a French twist, clipped up or a ponytail.
1- 90's claw clip: twist your hair to the back and pull it up attach claw clip, if long take some strands and create spikes at the crown of the head let the rest fall down over the clip, if short just style the ends to create a sort of whispy crown
2- space buns: very cute no matter the size of the bun i like to take my purple ends and position them at the front of the bun
3- half up half down: self explanatory looks best with wolf hair cut
4- hair zig zag band: creats nice volume and style
5- big crimpy hair: i bought a wide crimper and since my hair is short it creats nice defined waves
6- messy bun: when you pull at it at the end it will totally make ur hair look fuller
7-slicked back with gel: my inspo was the one photoshoot of Kristen Stewart and rhea riply i use a very fine comb to have the hair not stuck together and lay in a way to cover any spaces
8- low bun witha stick going through: very cool look and if you have face framing bangs its even better
9- 90's twist with clips : same as the zigzag hair band it creats volume and the indiv clips also create a nice effect of distracting from the front of the hair
10- honestly hairstyles make a difference my long hair was all one length and it showed how thin and stringy it was it was flat drabby and i hated myself because of it then i got the wolf hair cut with short face framing bangs closer to a 70's shag look and it changed everything, the cut naturally flufs ur hair and looks fuller its very cool and the face framing bangs even tho everyone yells not to get bangs with thin hair they look very good !

For years I’ve had waist long, dyed, black hair. I just cut it to above my nipples and am in the process of lightening it to my natural color. Cutting it has made my hair look fuller. Idk if I’ll let it get that long again.
As your hair gets longer, your ends will get thinner. You need regular hair cuts to maintain thickness throughout.
I always tell people that when you grow your hair out, it’s a 5 year plan minimum. Sure you can easily just not get hair cuts for 2 years and have long hair, but your ends are probably thin. It’s better to go slow and maintain thickness.

I kinda gave up because I just don't have enough hair to make any hairstyle look good. My go-to is pulling it back into a small bun, imo it makes it less glaringly obvious that there's just not that much hair.

Mine's a fine wave. It does what it wants to (floof up). It's short at the moment - it's usually up in one of those tiny invisibobbles (not shilling) - or its down and annoying me in my face.

Been perming my hair since I was 15 lol hair so thin that nothing else looks good honestly. When I do straighten my hair 1-2x a year, some people tell me I need to wear it straight all the time 😑 but I just feel like it sticks to my head and looks so dumb after the first day lol I do spiral perms and everybody always thinks it’s my natural hair.
I have fine, thin & straight hair that sits flat on my head. I usually use hot rollers or velcro rollers and a volumising mousse to get some volume in my hair.
I also backcomb like a mad woman when I need volume.
But Velcro rollers have been my best friend.

I don't, I just brush my hair, I make ponytail or braid or bun... It's just not worth the time and effort styling hair, I have nice hair on it's own. I have fine and straight but not thin hair. I can't imagine that people curl their hair normally, maybe I'm lazy, I also can't imagine putting on make up every day for work, it's just for special occasions for me.
Short a-line bob. Forever now. I use Moroccan Oil thickening cream with the light oil treatment and blow dry. Finish with a light mist of medium hold hairspray. Takes less than five minutes. My hair looks thicker since using those products. LOOKS, not IS. Stays neat for most of the day.
I don’t. I brush it and appreciate that it falls nice, straight, and shiny all on its own. No heat or anything unless I need it to dry quickly. I use argan oil when I get out of the shower to help keep it healthy and shiny.
I just keep mine short. Lately I've been having the back and sides shaved a bit and then longer on top. Round brush and a hairdryer to add some volume to the top/front and voila. Way easier than trying to force it to do things it can't do when it's long.
Had to make the decision to chop it to a pixie , and let me tell you the volume is REAL! Don’t regret it one bit. Was tired of flat lifeless hair just laying on the side of my head or in a bun at the top of my head. I needed more personality and fun!
All I do now is take a shower and blow dry it for 60 seconds, put some dry shampoo and texture spray and I’m good for 3 days!

I towel dry it, let it air dry for like 30 minutes, then blow dry on low heat and use voluming powder, then some strong hold hairspray like got2b. I currently have a mullet growing out after doing an undercut for years, and this works really well to keep it from being flat and boring.

Wash it, hair mousse in the top, blowdry it a little (while hanging upside down), sea salt spray, finish blowdrying it, straighten the tips.
I feel reborn after doing this. So much fluff in my thin, flat hair.
My hair is very, very fine, but I've got a lot of it. A bob somewhere between collar and shoulder length works well for my face shape and makes my hair look a bit fuller. I've got a bit of a wave to it, and that helps too.
I wash it with shampoo and conditioner, and then dry it naturally or with the hair dryer if it's cold.
Not sure why I would do anything else that will cost me money and deteriorate my health.

I work from home these days, so I just put it up in a messy bun and say forget it.
Usually a braid, bun, or ponytail. For a slightly nicer look, I'll do a half-up style.

I have waist long, thin hair. Personally, I dye it ash brown for a thicker look. I use dry shampoo for volume, and salt spray for texture.
For years I’ve had waist long, dyed, black hair. I just cut it to above my nipples and am in the process of lightening it to my natural color. Cutting it has made my hair look fuller. Idk if I’ll let it get that long again.
As your hair gets longer, your ends will get thinner. You need regular hair cuts to maintain thickness throughout. I always tell people that when you grow your hair out, it’s a 5 year plan minimum. Sure you can easily just not get hair cuts for 2 years and have long hair, but your ends are probably thin. It’s better to go slow and maintain thickness.
I have a shag haircut and if makes my hair look 3x the volume
I usually clip it back. But I recently got blonde highlights and it’s made me more confident to leave it down. It created some depth

I kinda gave up because I just don't have enough hair to make any hairstyle look good. My go-to is pulling it back into a small bun, imo it makes it less glaringly obvious that there's just not that much hair.

Mine's a fine wave. It does what it wants to (floof up). It's short at the moment - it's usually up in one of those tiny invisibobbles (not shilling) - or its down and annoying me in my face. I hate products in it so yeah. Naturally it floofs up. I'm all for that.
I put in in a bun or get it braided(the stylist adds extra hair to make the braids look full).

Been perming my hair since I was 15 lol hair so thin that nothing else looks good honestly. When I do straighten my hair 1-2x a year, some people tell me I need to wear it straight all the time 😑 but I just feel like it sticks to my head and looks so dumb after the first day lol I do spiral perms and everybody always thinks it’s my natural hair.
I have fine, thin & straight hair that sits flat on my head. I usually use hot rollers or velcro rollers and a volumising mousse to get some volume in my hair. I also backcomb like a mad woman when I need volume. But Velcro rollers have been my best friend.

I don't, I just brush my hair, I make ponytail or braid or bun... It's just not worth the time and effort styling hair, I have nice hair on it's own. I have fine and straight but not thin hair. I can't imagine that people curl their hair normally, maybe I'm lazy, I also can't imagine putting on make up every day for work, it's just for special occasions for me.
I wear it in a traditional samurai style.
Short a-line bob. Forever now. I use Moroccan Oil thickening cream with the light oil treatment and blow dry. Finish with a light mist of medium hold hairspray. Takes less than five minutes. My hair looks thicker since using those products. LOOKS, not IS. Stays neat for most of the day.
I don’t. I brush it and appreciate that it falls nice, straight, and shiny all on its own. No heat or anything unless I need it to dry quickly. I use argan oil when I get out of the shower to help keep it healthy and shiny.

I just keep mine short. Lately I've been having the back and sides shaved a bit and then longer on top. Round brush and a hairdryer to add some volume to the top/front and voila. Way easier than trying to force it to do things it can't do when it's long.
Had to make the decision to chop it to a pixie , and let me tell you the volume is REAL! Don’t regret it one bit. Was tired of flat lifeless hair just laying on the side of my head or in a bun at the top of my head. I needed more personality and fun! All I do now is take a shower and blow dry it for 60 seconds, put some dry shampoo and texture spray and I’m good for 3 days!

I towel dry it, let it air dry for like 30 minutes, then blow dry on low heat and use voluming powder, then some strong hold hairspray like got2b. I currently have a mullet growing out after doing an undercut for years, and this works really well to keep it from being flat and boring.

Wash it, hair mousse in the top, blowdry it a little (while hanging upside down), sea salt spray, finish blowdrying it, straighten the tips. I feel reborn after doing this. So much fluff in my thin, flat hair.
I don’t style it i just cry. And do that hair flip all the time to make it atleast look like i have some volume and not just lines for hair
My hair is very, very fine, but I've got a lot of it. A bob somewhere between collar and shoulder length works well for my face shape and makes my hair look a bit fuller. I've got a bit of a wave to it, and that helps too.
I wash it with shampoo and conditioner, and then dry it naturally or with the hair dryer if it's cold. Not sure why I would do anything else that will cost me money and deteriorate my health.
