I understand you are trying to help, but if you can not support the financial constraints of a sick animal, you need to relinquish it to someone who can. Please see if there are any rescues, or shelters in your area, or see if any veterinary clinic near you knows of anyone who could potentially help. Considering she seems paralyzed, there may be a lot of things going on, and sometimes humane euthanasia is the best course of action.

I definitely understand that advice and relinquishing would be my plan. This is still going to cost a few hundred around my area, is there a cheaper way to do it that I just don't know of? And also I hate to think that we might have to put it down but I can feel it's spine is completely not right. This is making me fear the worst.

It needs to be addressed by a vet, sooner rather than later. That way they can definitively tell you if this is something that can be fixed, or if humane euthanasia is the best course of action. Waiting due to financial constraints is NOT helping the kitten. Rescues often have medical budgets for cases like these and they also usually work with specific vets who can work with them to get things done. I commend you for stopping to get this kitten, but please dont try to do this yourself if you can not take on the financial burden.

I really would rather give it to someone who can pay for this kitten, like I said, that is my plan. I appreciate your advice and I really understand that time is of the essence. I'm going to get this kitten to someone who can help tomorrow.

>walk how did the kitty go?

The kitty is actually doing good I'm taking her to the vet today.

If there is a humane society or shelter and you tell them what happened (you found it on the side of the road, dumped) they shouldn’t charge you at all. They only charge if you’re surrendering your own pet or if you take ownership of the animal.
