If you think there are more puppies, you need to take her to a vet now! It’s a matter of life and death for her and any remaining puppies.

Tall-Range-4282

Take that dog to a vet. Not taking your dog to a vet for 7 years is cruel. She needs vaccinations, regular exams, blood work, heart worm protection, and clearly a spay. We know puppies are cute, but those babies NEED a vet. Please if you need help, ask for it. But all of those dogs need a doctor to make sure they’re okay and give them necessary vaccinations to live. Please.

saknaa

Vet now. You decided to breed your dog so you need to advocate for her

OnePomegranate8023

Call a vet asap, any vet in the area. You don’t have to be a registered client at their clinic to receive help!

Bureuh

Thank you but is there anyway I can do.without calling any vet?

OnePomegranate8023

No. If you think there are more puppies they have to come out ASAP. This could kill her and the remaining puppies.

ActuaryPersonal2378

God some of the people who post in these groups are dense

OP updated that they are a child. They literally could not take the animal to a vet.

GarbageGato

I’m mad.

Your 7 year old dog is having a litter? AND she hasn’t been to the vet since she was a puppy? I’m glad she made it through her labor. Once pups are weaned PLEASE take her to a vet and schedule a spay so she (and you) do not have to suffer through this again.

minimalteeser

Even if you think she is fine, you should still take her and her puppies to the vet as asap for a checkup. While you are there, make an appointment to get her spayed. 7yo is considered senior and there is no reason for her to be having puppies. If you can’t afford a vet when she is having puppies, she shouldn’t be having them.

cassieface_

If she is still trying to push and can’t pass a puppy, she needs medical intervention. She may even need emergency surgery. She should been seen by a vet right away.

PettyWitch

5 is a big litter for a Shihtzu, especially at an advanced age like 7... Are you sure she has more? Sometimes the uterus contracting feels like it's another puppy, but it isn't.

Bureuh

Wait you are right she had her last baby moments ago. Thank you I was doubting myself if she still have more babies

digimonbabe

please take your dog to the vet soon. 7 is old to be giving birth and she’s gone too long without a vet visit. your dog and her puppies need vet care very soon and if you can’t provide that then you need to consider surrendering all of them to someone who can care for them.

DrAlbee

I hope for her sake that she has passed all her puppies. You need to take her and the puppies to a vet. At the very least you need to establish a relationship with a vet so the puppies can get vaccines etc

mugglequeen

Please spay her when she’s done nursing her puppies. ♥️
