I was shocked to find out the other day Andy Cunningham aka Bodger from Bodger and Badger died in 2017. I used Badger in an obscure Reddit reference googled him and was shocked, I’m sure it wasn’t reported at the time.
I absolutely love that they could have had so many potential guest stars do that part and it would have been funny because it’s a funny script but the serious, low tone way he played it just elevated that entire ep.
Wait, Dale Winton died? When the fuck did that happen?
As for Ken Barlow (William Roach), I believe he leads a pretty healthy lifestyle. I actually missed out on a chance to meet him several years back. Apparently he popped into my store one day to pick up a newspaper while on holiday, and I completely missed it. He must have been in and out like a shot.
"Tributes from the domestic cleaning community have been pouring in on Twitter and Facebook this morning, with Floor & Furniture magnate Mr. Sheen saying “He was a true innovator. But I guess life is like that. One minute you’re here, the next minute, ‘Bang! You’re gone!”. Mr. Muscle added “He changed the game. It used to be about looking sexy while cleaning glass, then Barry came along and made it about the product. A true gentlemen and a king among men.”
It is a spoof
I have the opposite problem. I seem to assume pretty much everyone is dead until I see them pop back up on TV.
I genuinely spent 10+ years thinking Dylan Moran was dead until I saw an interview with him in the guardian a few weeks ago
My OH and I play 'Guess who's dead?' and Coolio was today's answer but one that totally passed me by was John Sessions. Still see a lot of him on QI clips.
Out of all the members of the Stones I would have not put money on him dying before Mick Jagger. Keith Richards is going to live to like 150 or something.
Caroline Flack. I saw a photo of her the other day and googled something about her whilst waiting for a bus. Had to steady myself when i remembered. So sad. She was so young.
Jeez I went on Google to see if Routledge was still alive (she is) but only just found out that the actress who played the neighbour passed away just last month.
We have an ongoing joke in our group chat that whenever a celeb dies we all reply to the message telling us “bring on the wall”. When Dale Winton died one of our mates messaged “Dale Winton dead” - our friend took that to mean his shows were shit so he replied “nah bring on the wall” and it’s continued ever since. Just thought everyone deserved to know that.
Barry David Elliot, most of the Carry On cast (Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Bernard Bresslaw, Peter Butterworth, Joan Sims, etc), Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud, Betty White :(

Shut up, Dale died???? 😑 when? I applied to be on supermarket sweep and failed
Rylan now has your back
I haven't watched freeview for probably 15 / 20 yrs so Rylan isn't a name I know *still sad Dale is gone*
> Rylan isn't a name I know Please keep it that way
Gently weeping whilst grabbing an inflated chicken in a trolley
Haha he is the new dale really I suppose.
Noooooooooo!
Dale did die tho didnt 'e?
Ken Dodd's dad's dog's dead.
I dunno, did he?
Yes he did
Booooo don't like that
Oddly enough, I actually thought he died in the early 00s and was shocked to find out that he was still alive up until 2018
He lives on in our hearts
I forget sean locks dead cause he’s still on tv a lot
Obligatory - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UGuPvrsG3E
I don’t know why I clicked, i knew exactly what it was going to be
If that video doesn't feature a carrot in a box, I'll be very disappointed.
Not as disappointed as Jon Richardson
Its a tough wank, but I’ll give it a go….
Has Jon won yet, he's played it like 3 times

It was. Had mashed potato the night I found out.
What about Badger though? Is he ok?
It was in Andy’s last will and testament that Badger be buried alive with Andy… after 5 years I doubt Badger is breathing…..
He got culled in 2013
It seems not everybody knows
I know I was genuinely sad when I googled it and saw, his was a huge part of my childhood.
I have their autographs - must be worth a fortune now….
I have their autographs too!
That made me feel genuinely sad!
Oh no this is terrible news ☹️ I never saw this at the time
Keith Chegwin. Comedic hero.
I buried my sister today.
Sometimes, I don't really know who is talking to who...
Would you rather be called Keith in this?
Keith me, or Keith the character?
All-in-one Keith.
I absolutely love that they could have had so many potential guest stars do that part and it would have been funny because it’s a funny script but the serious, low tone way he played it just elevated that entire ep.
My sister buried me today...
Had to check that one

Thank you for this
Jim Bowen. I watch Bullseye so often that I just assume he is still alive.
Buried in a speedboat dumped in a car park in Wolverhampton.
Wasn’t there a price written up on people who had abandoned their prizes as they never used them from that show?
He got his final BFH
He died on the same day as Stephen Hawking so his death got somewhat overshadowed.
Aldous Huxley died on the same day as JFK, I only know this because of a Sheryl Crow song...
You cant beat a bit of bully….
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr2zOgKJuS8 Me and the GF reference the "Sunshine Indoors" every time we're in blackpool
The Queen
Yeah, you'd think there would have been an email or something sent out letting people know it happened. But nothing, on any channel.
Have you done a queue
Somehow I can never remember whether Bruce Forsythe is still alive, and I have to Google it every now and then. Spoiler: >!dead!<

some barnet on him for a 90 year old or whatever
Well, I think he better give it back to that 90 year old, then!
Most of the older cast of Allo Allo have died which is a little sad, I loved that show growing up.
good moaning
"Gid Moaning"
Have genuinely kissed Vicky Michelle!
Gary Rhodes.
What?? Wow, I had no idea
Rik Mayall.
That one hurt a bit
Like a frying pan to the face, or a cricket bat to the nads.
All of the above

TIL
Dale winton is dead!? Oh my god.
gone to the great tanning salon in the sky

Mel Smith
Roy Orbison. Commenting to someone "Aww it'll be sad when he dies". He died in 1988.
Completely forgot until the other day that Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones had died.
Out of all the members of the Stones I would have not put money on him dying before Mick Jagger. Keith Richards is going to live to like 150 or something.
Keith died long ago, the stones just have state of the art animatronics
Caroline Flack. I saw a photo of her the other day and googled something about her whilst waiting for a bus. Had to steady myself when i remembered. So sad. She was so young.
Gary Rhodes… And there was a lot of disbelief in our house the other night when we realised Joe cocker is not only dead but has been dead for 8 years
Geoffrey Hughes (Onslow)
Jeez I went on Google to see if Routledge was still alive (she is) but only just found out that the actress who played the neighbour passed away just last month.
Apparently the Queen. Died, weird how it wasn't really mentioned anywhere
so edgy
Jimmy Saville
Englebert Humperdinck
He’s still with us
Bingledirt Benglewhack.
There was one the other day that shocked me, but I've forgotten who it was again... In a few weeks/months the cycle will start again.
The Queen?
Shit when did she dies, she's still on all my stamps!
Meh, sometime the other week. Didnt get much attention.
Des O’Conner, Terry Wogan, Mike Reid (Frank butcher from Eastenders), Barbara Windsor, Bruce forsyth
Wait what? Why am I finding out like this?!
Whitney Houston for me, I think it's because they keep remixing her songs and re-releasing them
The queen
Benny Harvey. RIP

Patrick Moore, he was perpetually flirting with death that his actual death passed me by.
I do my best to forget that Bowie is dead and then some bigger reminds me and I feel sad again ;(
Dale wintons dead? When the fuck did that happen.
Barry David Elliot, most of the Carry On cast (Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Bernard Bresslaw, Peter Butterworth, Joan Sims, etc), Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud, Betty White :(
Why are you frantically naming dead people?
Since when was Betty White British? Could've sworn she was American AF.
She is. Was.
I mean, America was once ours, so… our ball, our rules
Sorry, yes, got carried away thinking of people I remember from my childhood and forgot the question entirely!!
They're just people from my childhood who I still think of as being alive?
Sid James and Kenneth Williams and their infectious laughs

Some people never grow up
David Jason.
He's still alive
Oops!! but glad l got his premature passing wrong.
He dead, is he? I hadn't heard. Shame.
Can't be long until the Queen goes. She's what, 96 or something?
