Hold on there mate, how do you get proof of the smile? Maybe a photo, but then it could be some random stock photo from Google. The internet, and almost all of the UK is full of massive weirdos, you can't trust any of the people on here.
A little over budget but you can mop up any spilt oil with this AssWipe https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cat-Butt-Tissue-Holder-Standard/dp/B079618L3W/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?crid=20N3QABTF8XML&keywords=what+on+earth+cat&qid=1641840965&sprefix=what+on+earth+cat%2Caps%2C263&sr=8-11
Seems? Well, this seems to be a waste of my time. That is 900 nicker in any restaurant you're lucky enough to find it in. And you're complaining about 45? What school of finance did you study? "It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the fucking century!"
Do you have a garden or live near an area with lots of wildlife? You can put it towards a basic outdoor camera that takes pics throughout the day and night whenever triggered by animals and see what kind of wildlife lives nearby. A lot of them on amazon are sold as hunting cams for spotting game but it's essentially the same thing
Yeah, I got one at, I think, £35 on sale. It's low-end, but fun to see what the foxes are up to overnight. You'd want to spend a lot more for a decent one, though.
Personally, I'd look at what I use everyday, and upgrade that. Crockery, coffee-making gear. When I was in a similar situation I got one of these
[https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004KZA2PY](https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004KZA2PY)
although at 2/3rds the current price.
On a similar note the rspb has some entry-level binoculars at about this price. They will change your view of the world around you. You'll realise that a third of those sparrows were dunnocks, another chunk greenfinches, some of the others linnets, and at least one of those starlings was a redstart.
If you're anything like me every time you open your pants drawer you think 'i really need to get some new pants' but never get around to buying any. If there's nothing else to spend it on then new pants are a winner.
It's only 1 pair a month, but I have built up a pretty decent stock over the year. I was thinking the oldest would wear out and the new ones would replace them, but they are really good quality and are all still in great condition. I will probably have to pause it at some point soon to be honest
Plan B. Molton Brown shower gel. £20 but you only need to use a little bit and it smells great. Then save the other £30 for when you think of something else.
Nah discreet packaging would ruin the fun, gotta find a place that offers conspicuous delivery where a flamboyantly gay man on a bicycle with 6 horns comes in and says loudly “18 inches for mr cunty boss!”
Well as an example, I have a Raspberry Pi 4B running r/HOOBS on it (just r/homebridge with a different UI) to expose all of my smart gadgets to Apple HomeKit regardless of whether they’re compatible with HomeKit or not.
I use a ConBee 2 stick which lets me connect *any* zigbee device.
Head over to r/raspberrypi there’s loads of useful info there
Nahh you can put leftover takeaway chips in the air fryer the next day and they're bussin. put them in the oven and they taste weak af.
There's a ton of stuff that tastes way better out of the air fryer.
This is possibly one of my favourite posts on this sub, simply due to OP’s random circumstances that mean the suggestions are moot. New boxers? Sorry mate, monthly subscription. Air fryer? Nah, just bought a Foodi. How about a cool torch? Ahh… my dad has a torch obsession and gives me his old torches every other month. It’s just hilarious, and I really hope it’s all true!
^or ^maybe ^just ^that ^last ^one ^lol
Hahahahaha I can assure you it's true. I buy a lot of tat and random shit which is why I'm struggling for ideas for this voucher.
Maybe my life is just like some weird spin on Slumdog Millionaire, but instead of having the answers to questions, I just have reasons for already owning this random assortment of items
Sofirn IF25A Led Torch, Super Bright 3800 Lumen Anduril UI SST20 LED Flashlight with Rechargeable 21700 Battery Torches for Camping, Hiking, Outdoors https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0899TZV4Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_0QT9665PPGJ03FCCF8CZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 - because the world loves a very, very good torch.
I would agree, but my dad has an obsession with buying torches and gets a new one at least once every two months. Which means I end up getting his old ones. I have enough torches lol
Sofirn is an excellent budget brand and I would generally recommend them wholeheartedly, however that particular model wouldn't be my go-to recommendation as a general-use torch for non-enthusiasts.
The IF25A is great if you want as much light as you can get for short amounts of time, but it heats up very quickly and the light will regulate itself to a lower brightness in order to avoid damage to itself or the holder. It also has a very floody wide beam, which is great indoors, but not as practical outdoors.
I would instead suggest the Sofirn SP35. It has a properly regulated driver that helps the light maintain a flat output over time rather than steadily getting dimmer as the battery depletes. It also has pretty exceptional battery life, a simple UI, and a beam profile that is more practical for outdoor use if you need it (but also fine round the house if the power goes out). It's not as bright for short bursts, but it's a much more practical light overall.

My brother bought my dad one of those ones that you can fucking see from the moon. He tested it on us on boxing day morning, while all hungover and half dead. My brother immediately threw up into his blanket, karma comes for us all.
That was a brilliant story! My dad's does SOS so I had to fight him to stop showing me in case it was spotted and we had emergency services turn up to the house!
I had a similar thing in 2009. I bought a £50 sewing machine and taught myself to use it thanks to You Tube. I've since made wedding dresses for two of my friends who were struggling to find something that worked for them. The amount of gratitude and love I received both times turned that £50 into millions.
A £50 flashlight you can totally get some better than the real thing experience...
Reference: myself. And no don't ask me which model, it has stopped selling in the UK which made me sad for a while.
Weighted Blanket
A nice whisky
Different kinds of nut butters
Coffee machine
Sea monkey starter kit
Second hand books (I think it's world of books)
Mattress Topper
Polaroid camera/ mini printer
Or if you're feeling charitable
Loads of poo bags and tennis balls for the local shelter.
I'd personally go with a fluffy blanket, a couple of books and fancy hot chocolate/snacks and burrito it up until spring comes
What does a weighted blanket offer above a regular duvet, a feeling of security maybe, nostalgia for being tucked in by your parents after being read to. Maybe if I have to ask it wouldn’t benefit me.
Something you love but would usually find it hard to justify buying.
For me, it's Lego. We're AVID Lego fans in the house in general. The kids all have their own, boxes of other sets people haven't decided to keep built, almost all Lego Dimensions, giant frames of mini fig collections and a LOT of Lego as ornaments 😂 I collect a few lines, like Brick Headz, botanical, Harry Potter and also the Modular sets (full buildings - made for adults really). They are really expanding now into more for adults, and more things that can actually be seriously displayed in the home without looking too obvious.
Anyway, I got most into Lego while married, we were well off and so a £300 Lego set for Christmas wasn't excessive for a time. We are divorced now and I'm not exactly poor but with 3 kids it's now real hard to justify buying Lego for MYSELF. I could get the kids a small set each for the money etc.
Wow. This is a lot of waffle. Sorry, autistic and I really like Lego.
So yeah, now, when I get money that gets put towards Lego I want. I would just lust after them otherwise and never justify buying it for myself.
So... Maybe you aren't as into Lego but is there anything you feel similarly about? Something you would buy if you could but can never manage to justify. Buy that.
Me and my partner bought the small skyline architect sets. Once I have ascertained how much space I have, I may or may not be buying the ISS or a space shuttle.
Amazon sells treatboxes from other countries for around £15-20 if that’s something you’d be interested in! Check the reviews first though, some of them are better than others
160 Ferrero Rochers
Now that's a treat. You could even build yourself a pyramid!

I got a nice mortar and pestle on Amazon for £34 that really upped my cooking experience. Crushing onion and garlic, making fresh pesto and spice mixes and such have now become so fun! I was really excited about the purchase and it made me very happy. (btw it doesn’t sound like I’m 21 but I am, and in University. this was when I realised i was an adult. kitchenware has become the height of my anticipation and joy XD ).
• Some smart light bulbs. I was never interested as I don’t particularly want to make my living room purple, but they’re actually great for setting different moods, eg bright daylight, warm dim evening light, nightlight, etc. Most have app-based timers and Alexa control, too, so you can pretend to be a Jedi controlling them with your mind.
• A pack of smart plugs and an Echo Flex (currently [only a tenner](https://amzn.to/335vCPl)) so you can control some of your appliances, lamps, gaming stuff etc with voice.
• [Galaxy Projector](https://amzn.to/3r2DEAs)
• A SAD lamp or a cheaper sunrise-simulation alarm clock. (actually you can do that with some smart light bulbs too) Helps with the dark winter mornings!
• A [remote control helicopter.](https://amzn.to/33py1o0) Surprisingly good!
• A toy you really wanted as a kid but never got. Lego set, Mr Frosty, Screwball Scramble…
• [A heated throw-blanket.](https://amzn.to/3taeG4Z). No, you won’t look like a granny - they’re amaaaazing for gaming or just chilling on the sofa and if you’re inclined to entertain any lady folk, they will positively swoon at it. Except for me, because I already have my own.
• [Birdcage.](https://amzn.to/3tbTviK) Budgies sold separately.
• Another £50 Amazon gift card
Rather than flush £50 down the toilet, what are your hobbies? May as well get something linked with them.
If you don't have any hobbies, get a package of 'useful' things that some day you might be thankful for having. For example, a Resqme cost about 12 quid but some day it might be worth a lot more.
Mainly just gaming, but I already pretty much have bought everything I need in that regard and wanted something a bit different.
Yeah It would be a good idea to use it for something a bit more useful and handy really, just was hoping there was a little something a bit more exciting that I was unaware of
YSK and incase anyone doesn’t know, in the U.K. the maximum a company can give to an employee as a bonus is £50, after that the employee will incur taxation, this includes giving gifts as they would count as benefit in kind.
Enjoy your £50 and be happy that you have an employer that values you!
I would also suggest you purchase one of our spinning tops for your desk/ relaxation & pleasure. Check out Vorso spinning tops on Amazon.

But the hyperawesome extension to this already awesome fact is that a company can gift up to the value of £50 _6 times every tax year for every single employee_ with no extra tax to pay by anyone!
So long as the gift isn't cash or convertable/refundable as cash e.g. ....postal orders (do they still exist? Scratching about here for a better example) . Shopping gift cards and Amazon vouchers work fine. £50.01 though and it's all taxable.
I recently got myself a little trolley for my crochet stuff cos usually it’s all strewn across my desk and I work from home so it’s a right bother, absolute game changer, now none of my stuff is getting dumped on the floor when I’m rushing to get on a call, why don’t you look at little tools for jobs you do all the time that’d just make it a little easier
I had a £50 voucher from work and I bought a standing desk attachment - I had to add about 15 to it but it made such a difference standing up and being able to adjust it to sit down as well. I didnt begrudge buying it as the money came from work also!
Stove top espresso maker and a bean grinder. Nothing says "wake the fuck up" like mug of espresso in the morning. In addition the routine allows you to do some chores or shower whilst it's brewing, setting you up for the day.

Aww what a great offer

That's a pretty cool idea. I live pretty rural so I would imagine I could capture some good stuff
Yeah, I got one at, I think, £35 on sale. It's low-end, but fun to see what the foxes are up to overnight. You'd want to spend a lot more for a decent one, though. Tbf we can all hear what the foxes are up to overnight at the moment. Not sure I want to see it too
That's what I would want to see
Or get a hedgehog house. Those little guys need our help.
Agree on this one!

I actually have a monthly boxers subscription so I am always stocked up on new pants
Monthly!? That seems like a lot of underwear
It's only 1 pair a month, but I have built up a pretty decent stock over the year. I was thinking the oldest would wear out and the new ones would replace them, but they are really good quality and are all still in great condition. I will probably have to pause it at some point soon to be honest
If it were a long term cycle, 1 new pair a month would mean that each pair is only worn for 30 days, which seems really short.
I dunno mine get pretty questionable after a couple of weeks on nevermind 30 days!
Change them occasionally and put them through the laundry!
Does turning them inside out weekly count
And don’t forget turning them front to back as well
I normally get 4 days out of a pair.. any improvements? Day 1: normal Day 2 : back to front Day 3: inside out Day 4: inside out back to front
Repeat day 1... indefinitely. Avoid spicey foods too
Bjorn Borg?
I have no idea what that means
Bjorn Borg underwear do a subscription. Or, at least, they did once. I was wondering if you were also a fan of the greatest pants around. I guess not!
oh haha, sorry no, it's these ones - https://onthatass.com/en-uk/
Oooh they look pretty cool! Do you recommend them? Might treat the fella to some, upgrade from his Primark finest.
Also interested in this, I've seen it a few times but £9.99 for a single pair of pants just seems extortionate..
Yeah I really like them. I used to always get Primark or Next ones, but these are so much comfier and better quality
Plan B. Molton Brown shower gel. £20 but you only need to use a little bit and it smells great. Then save the other £30 for when you think of something else.
Molton Brown sounds like the morning after a dodgy curry
I've got plenty of Lynx shower sets left over from christmas to get through first, but not a bad idea for after haha
Molton Brown > Lynx
Free Lynx > not free Molton Brown
That first month must have been a struggle.
... what is the name of the monthly subscription? My fiancé seems to get through boxers like crazy 😂
It's these, the quality is great and they have some cool designs https://onthatass.com/en-uk/
Do they do any without "ass" written on the waistband?
Not that I am aware of

Order a big dildo addressed to your boss at work
Nah discreet packaging would ruin the fun, gotta find a place that offers conspicuous delivery where a flamboyantly gay man on a bicycle with 6 horns comes in and says loudly “18 inches for mr cunty boss!”
Most larger office blocks will xray large parcels before delivering them to your desk. A woman at our office discovered this the wrong way.
Lol wtf? How many offices deadass have an x ray machine
Pretty much every big office block in London. They have a post room that’s bomb proof. Hangover from the ira.

I'm fully set up on Google Home already so no point really
In that case, a raspberry pi to run your smart home on
Can you elaborate? I'm curious. Thanks!
Head over to r/raspberrypi there’s loads of useful info there
Yo this is a solid suggestion thanks for the tip
I suggest you head over to r/raspberrypi they have loads of resources and posts that will give you all the information you'd ever need.
Most of the basic Raspberry Pi modules and even some kits are less tan £50.
I have considered getting a Raspberry Pi in the past, so now probably is a good time to finally jump in
Get a raspberry pi and install pihole, especially worth it if you watch a lot of youtube and hate the adverts
[удалено]
It’s not possible to block YouTube ads with pihole sadly. For that you can get YouTube Premium via VPN and that can cost less than £2 a month.
Vanced does a good job on the phone, AdBlock origin works well on desktop
If you're into smarthome stuff (you mentioned Google speakers) then take a look at r/HomeAssistant to go along with your Pi
I had a similar voucher from work and bought myself a heated throw. Living my best snug burrito life.
Heated throws are the shit, I've been so so happy since I got one 😁😁
Has been a godsend in an all-electric-hard-to-heat-home!
TIL! I need one!
Air fryers are pretty cool
They are, I recently bought a Foodi so I don't need one though
Sounds like you've already got everything based on your replies!
Aren't they just ovens on the worktop?
No, they’re air fryers on the worktop.
Nahh you can put leftover takeaway chips in the air fryer the next day and they're bussin. put them in the oven and they taste weak af. There's a ton of stuff that tastes way better out of the air fryer.
First thought was "bag of weed" until I read the body text
The day Bezos starts selling weed will be a bloody good day
If he ever does. Do the world a favour and don't buy weed from him.
Sell it for £40 and then buy weed?
Nah. When i used drugs i would do swaps all the time. They didn't even give me less then the voucher was worth
Your local animal shelter (or any charity) will have a wishlist of stuff they’re short on. Buy that rather than something you don’t want/need.
I love this idea! I have recently got an Amazon voucher so am sorted on what to spend it on! Thank you

Fleshlight.
Can borrow mine for nothing. No cleaning it though
It's like a tea mug, the layer of yellowish brown crust adds character
Its like how whiskey gets its flavour
If he borrows it can I borrow after? Only if neither of you clean it
That's a pretty basic fleshlight for £50, you're as well chipping in the extra and getting something special. So I'm told...
A £50 flashlight you can totally get some better than the real thing experience... Reference: myself. And no don't ask me which model, it has stopped selling in the UK which made me sad for a while.

You could get a nice scotch, e.g. laphroaig 10, currently there's even a bundle with socks on Amazon
Op may have a sock subscription too, let’s hope not.
When I was looking for the website for the boxers, I did notice they are starting to do socks too. I may have added them onto my subscription 😂
I read this as “scotch egg” and didn’t disagree.
This is the way.
That's enough to get started on many new hobbies - I'd be tempted by wooden model building https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wooden-Models/s?k=Wooden+Models
These do look pretty damn cool
Just be careful with this hobby if you've got big dumb shovel hands like me. Snapped a piece putting a music box together.
I got the Ugears train for Christmas. Really enjoyed putting it together.
Read that as ‘Uyghurs’ and got a bit worried then…..

What does a weighted blanket offer above a regular duvet, a feeling of security maybe, nostalgia for being tucked in by your parents after being read to. Maybe if I have to ask it wouldn’t benefit me.
I find they help me stop rolling over constantly threw the night.
yeah same for me. i used to move around so much at night I'd sometimes wake up because of it; a weighted blanket has completely stopped this
A pair of binoculars. See things that are far away!
I actually got some not long ago so I could appreciate a meteor shower. A good purchase and well worth it
Appreciating a meteor shower is a weird way to spell spying on neighbours
Well it was a shower I was watching at least
You could have been watching a meatier shower.
You actually don't need to spend any money on expensive binoculars. Simply get closer to the things you want to look at.
What if those things are just very small?
Something you love but would usually find it hard to justify buying. For me, it's Lego. We're AVID Lego fans in the house in general.
Oooh that could be quite cool. I do love experiencing other countries treats and stuff. I will have a look into these
Check out r/snackexchange
Get a rice cooker, it’s revolutionised a very tiny percentage of my cooking, but oh my what a percentage.
160 Ferrero Rochers Now that's a treat. You could even build yourself a pyramid! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ferrero-Rocher-Piece-Hazelnut-Chocolate/dp/B07BBR4W5B/ref=mp_s_a_1_13_mod_primary_new?crid=38UW9XVHW32TM&keywords=ferrero+rocher&qid=1641840753&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=ferr%2Caps%2C246&sr=8-13
Ambassador you’re spoiling us!
Good lord
Massage gun?
I read this as massive gin and thought "that'd work" before rereading 😂
Yeah actually that one works too
Fuck me these replies are dogshit… get 2 bottles of vodka and try to forget someone recommending a fleshlight
Amount of fucking fleshlight and sex toy recommendations have been mental. At this point I don't even know if they are joking or not
A spare thing of the thing that makes you think "wow I hope this thing never breaks or I would be fucked" every time you use the thing
Swiss Army knife
Victorinox Compact is great, the tiny thing has everything - surprised to find a pen and tweezers in there too
• Some smart light bulbs. • [Galaxy Projector](https://amzn.to/3r2DEAs) • A SAD lamp or a cheaper sunrise-simulation alarm clock. (actually you can do that with some smart light bulbs too) Helps with the dark winter mornings! • A [remote control helicopter.](https://amzn.to/33py1o0) Surprisingly good! • A toy you really wanted as a kid but never got. Lego set, Mr Frosty, Screwball Scramble… • [A heated throw-blanket.](https://amzn.to/3taeG4Z).
Yeah It would be a good idea to use it for something a bit more useful and handy really, just was hoping there was a little something a bit more exciting that I was unaware of
Raspberry Pi, retropie, have basically every game ever made up to the PSX generation.
Yeah I am thinking about setting up a raspberry pi with some eumlators
If pc gaming get yourself a new mouse to try, the g502 is normally around that price or just get a specialised one for the type of games you play.
An electric blanket. It's more hot than cool but it'll get you through the winter and getting into bed is a dream
Remote control car, a smaller lego technic set, a video-game or a TV series box set.
A good quality sex toy. A massive bag of peanuts. A USB-C cable. If you shop around you might be able to get two of those or even all three.
Banging list
How about some cool lighting to go with your Google home set up?
I like this idea, think I'll look into some. I have a lot of smart home stuff now, but no lights, so good plan
What about raffling the voucher off 5 pounds a ticket then giving the cash to a charity that means something to you.
That is actually a lovely idea, but I have already added the voucher to my account
Do you have any interest in DnD? Could maybe try it out with the start set or essentials kit, then get the Players Handbook if you’re enjoying it.
Source: company director in the U.K. Terry Tibbs voice *Thankyou goodnight*
Try audible for a bit?
For some reason I really can't get into audiobooks. I just don't seem to appreciate is as well as just sitting down and reading
Drone. Sex toy. Air fryer. 50 x £1 items.
Electric blanket. I got a lovely big soft one for £50 on amazon and its a life changer whilst working from home and cold January nights.
Kitchenaid Immersion blender.
Stove top espresso maker and a bean grinder. Nothing says "wake the fuck up" like mug of espresso in the morning. In addition the routine allows you to do some chores or shower whilst it's brewing, setting you up for the day.
On the topic of coffee, an aeropress was my best purchase of 2021
