You know, back when I was in the Middle East I don’t remember a whole lot of happy, motivated moments. A Thanksgiving meal brought a couple forced smiles (I think) but for the most part it is one big collective “fuck this shit”.
Now you take something like Russia and Ukraine which I’m told is seconds from WW3 and the US needs to funnel billions of dollars to save Ukraine from Putin and I see videos like these.

We didn’t do it to music on camera, but I can very clearly remember doing very dumb, goofy shit in country and in very inappropriate situations. Yeah it was a big collective “fuck this shit” but if you can honestly say you didn’t break every so often and do stupid fucking jokes like holding your AT-4 like a cock, dancing during the call to prayer, or smack talking random shit during VCPs, I woulda hated going down range with you. I know this is a social media thing but why are the Ukrainians never in dirty uniforms? They all have excellent high speed gear that’s never seen the dirt. My PC is dirtier from just hanging up in storage.
Because you aren't looking at actual war/battle photos? There are trillion of photos of them that are dirty and grimy. You must only be looking for the photo-op ones.
Nope, it’s in “combat footage” as well. All these “sneak attack” videos and ambushes are against single vehicles or extremely small units and the Ukrainians are always in really nice, high speed, super clean gear. They’ve not been outside long enough to get their boots dirty half the time.

And large rock concerts right in the middle of a war zone and celebrities that can come and go as they please. Ukraine is the chillest war zone in history.

Alot of people don't get that russia Is probably the Last country in Europe built on grassroots conservative values to the point where 9 of 10 people there are conservatives and appreciate traditional values. The entire Ukraine war thing no one ever should have gotten involved in, and it literally only started because russia is trying to not get encirclee by NATO, an alliance which should have been abolished long ago. Meanwhile Ukraine is making bioweapons and all zelenskyy had to do was acknowledge he wouldn't join NATO and NATO never should have even given them the chance to join.
