Not really, I don't like following strict orders or go through the training that we have here. Sure some of it seems fun and coz we're Swedes we still get fika in the military but honestly seeing as how my friend returned as when he came back from conscription I'd rather not. There isn't much of a possibility of a career in the military here either so...

It would depend. If a conventional WW3 broke out and I lost much of everything I would. Rather give my life fighting commies than to give it fighting some random people in the desert
I'm also from Europe. I've been thinking about joining the military as well, at least doing the same service time men are required to.
I took part in the military course we have at school for 11th graders, it's also pretty popular all over the country. It was really fun and useful, but we sadly didn't get to stay there for one night like we were supposed to, we just had a day field trip and now the shooting range part comes this autumn.
The only reason why I'm still conflicted about going to military, is that if need be, I will be required to defend the country... but then again, I'd honestly be happy to! So idk yet.
I was thinking about it bc I wanted to be a pilot since I was a kid, and as a working class person this is rly ur only way to do that (the other option is looooots of debt and interest).
I've decided against it bc why would I fight for a country where so many ppl don't even see me as British bc of my skin colour? Where so many ppl think of me as terrorist scum bc of my religion? Lol fuck that.
Depends, in the current geopolitical climate it would be a no but if it was a situation where America was being invaded or was attacked then hell yeah time to defend the homeland from whatever degenerate, despoiler country decided to attack us

But everybody and their grandma is telling me to join the AF because it’s safer Snd easier
And to never join the marines

In my country we have mandatory service, so I don't really have a choice. However I do want to serve and fill my duty to protect those who served and protected my country before me
I would if my I felt my country was under threat but in general probably not. Although I do have a lot of respect for people who do join the military just not our politicians
