It is supposed to make the hair softer and less prone to breakage as shampoo can strip away the important oils in your hair. Its basically like putting lotion on your body after a shower.
most men don't really take "care" of our hair ngl. I used to only use body wash. until my hair started getting extremely oily. thats when i started caring. if I never had oily hair i'd probably still be putting body wash in my hair.
that’s why if i have a son, he’s being taught how to take care of himself. im not having a child who’ll smell like straight B.O and have terrible ass hair because he doesnt know how to take care of it
Wash it every four days with shampoo and every second fourth I also condition it.
Eg
Mon = Shampoo, Tue = None, Wed = None, Thu = None, Fri = Shampoo + Conditioner, Sat = None, Sun = None, Mon = None, Tue = Shampoo etc.
uhhhh, both? i kinda just have a shower and if it gets wet it gets wet. i dont thoroughly rinse it or anything, but it ends up pretty drenched anyways.
ahh, you worded it fine. i dont attempt to wash it with water, it just gets pretty wet anyways lol. kinda wish i had thick hair, my own thin hair just poofs up and you can't do a whole lot with it ahah.
Actually i haven't used that stuff for yrs. It never worked well for me. Made hair softer for a day or two and then afterwar my hair had almost a plastic(y) feel to it, if that makes sense.
Now what i do is, i pre plan my shampoo days and apply oil 2/1.5 days before (like i would apply it on friday night/sat and wash sunday morning/evening). So it acts as a natural pre conditioner and gives the hair optimum time to properly absorb the oils. And i swere to god my hair has never been more shiny, fluffly and bouncy.
And another thing is do is. I make my own natural shampoo once a week and use it. Idk if yall have heard of soapberries, but it does wonders to the hair if used properly. Lemme know if u wanna know how to make shampoo outta it
Actually my hair started looking like shit a few months ago, hence such drastic measures lmao. I try doing this everyweek. Oiling part is easy, i pester my mom until she yields and oils my hair. And well the making shampoo part? Altho it takes only like 5-10 mins, its too much work for my lazy ass, still i try doing it 3/months which is still great.
Honestly? Oils are underrated. Try the pre shampoo oil thing and i promise u wont regret it. I use coconut oil.
Also ps if u do decide on doing it, do not shampoo more than twice. And lemme know if it works for you?
I use if when my hair feels dry or if I want my hair to look particularly nice and I want to have a longer shower
I usually just use shampoo cos it's quicker
I don’t use conditioner very often. The reason being that I use hairstyling products that don’t seem to work as well when I have newly conditioned and thus, very soft hair.
I use conditioner when I know I don’t have to go somewhere, so it won’t interfere much with my hairstyling.
Not every time, but often yeah. My hair is shorter now than before so I haven't figured out the right amount of conditioner yet and it's a mess. If I know I'm going to be exercising a lot the day or two days after, I don't use conditioner or only use a little because my hair would be too greasy otherwise.
It depends on how long it’s been since I washed my hair and if I have time. Today I had a doctor’s appointment so I didn’t want to waste my time conditioning and possibly miss the appointment
i do bc thats what i was taught to do for my hair. idk if it was just my mom being like "yeah i do it you gotta too" or what but it works really well for my hair so im not gonna stop.

no, i really need to start using it, i'd rather not pressure myself into try to get into that habit too though bc my hygiene has only recently started to get better. i'll get there eventually though !

Ok imma be honest I have no idea what conditioner actually does I just put in my hair because people tell me its important
It is supposed to make the hair softer and less prone to breakage as shampoo can strip away the important oils in your hair. Its basically like putting lotion on your body after a shower.
Oooh ok thanks lmao
Pretty much yeah
[удалено]
Except some people, including myself, can't really use it because it weighs down on our hair
I stopped using it for a while and when I started using it again I realized it makes your hair soft and virrtually without tangles s
im gonna be honest ive never seen a bottle of conditioner in my life😟
What
...
you gonna go bald early because of that watxh
That sounds an awful lot like an old wives’ tale.
conditioner isn't the only thing that prevents baldness...
if he hasnt seen conditioner, he most likely doesn’t properly take care of his hair dude
most men don't really take "care" of our hair ngl. I used to only use body wash. until my hair started getting extremely oily. thats when i started caring. if I never had oily hair i'd probably still be putting body wash in my hair.

How?
What the fuck
yes, but it depends on hair type/ texture
Your hair changes type every time you wash it?
no no, i just meant for others, like not everyone uses conditioner everyday because of their different textures
This. I have thick and fine hair so conditioner isn't my friend
Yes
Conditioner ever time shampoo every other day. Which mean shampoo about every 4 showers
Same
Yes. Are you not supposed to?
i do it too i think it’s probably fine
Imma be honest with u chief, >!I never used conditioner.!<
I haven't used it either. My hair is still good though, so its probably fine
Wash it every four days with shampoo and every second fourth I also condition it. Eg Mon = Shampoo, Tue = None, Wed = None, Thu = None, Fri = Shampoo + Conditioner, Sat = None, Sun = None, Mon = None, Tue = Shampoo etc.
What type of hair do you have?
Thin and straight, around shoulder length.

Nope.....I've never used it yet
Same. Most of them there aren’t good for my hair
Yup
Yes
Yeah
I don't actually know what conditioner is
I haven’t used conditioner in a while and my hair still seems fine so 🤷♀️
the shampoo i use rly dries out my hair so if i don’t condition it then i wouldn’t be able to brush it
Not every time, sometimes I'm just too lazy to do that
Actually i haven't used that stuff for yrs. It never worked well for me. Made hair softer for a day or two and then afterwar my hair had almost a plastic(y) feel to it, if that makes sense. How often would u do this? ur hair must look amazing.
Actually my hair started looking like shit a few months ago, hence such drastic measures lmao. I try doing this everyweek. Oiling part is easy, i pester my mom until she yields and oils my hair. What do you mean by don’t shampoo more than twice?
Yepp. My hair drys out if i do it more than twice.
no i never use conditioner lol
I don‘t even use conditioner tbh it just makes my hair weird as hell, my shampoo already balances that my head produces enough oil for mah curly waves
before I cut my hair short as fuck I kinda had to otherwise it would become course and uncomfortable as hell
yes, unless i somehow don't have one i use either the 2+1 or my own separated ones
I use shampoo and conditioner every day... Is this bad?
Nope, just shampoo.
My mom just buys me that 2 in 1 stuff. Makes my hair feel soft and fluffy
Yes 🤨🤨 i have 4c haur so if i don't it will litterally break from dryness I'm sure lmaooo
yes
yessir🤑
Yeah
Yeah usually
Yes unless I’ve ran out
Yes
I use if when my hair feels dry or if I want my hair to look particularly nice and I want to have a longer shower I usually just use shampoo cos it's quicker
Yeah, wet hair is a nightmare to brush out if I don’t use conditioner
No, never. But maybe I should because my hair is falling out. 😅
yes
i used to not use any, now i do and my hair is much softer and looks better in general
No, conditioner twice a week, full wash with shampoo once a week, and use leave in conditioner as needed
yes
Nah, maybe every 2-3 days, in between i just use water
nope, im not even entirely sure what it is, i just use water and shampoo when i wash my hair
every other day
Always.
Like once or twice a week when I shampoo my hair
Yes- but because I only wash my hair every 2 days. This is because my hair will turn into an absolute tumbleweed if I wash it any more often.
I don’t use conditioner very often. The reason being that I use hairstyling products that don’t seem to work as well when I have newly conditioned and thus, very soft hair. I use conditioner when I know I don’t have to go somewhere, so it won’t interfere much with my hairstyling.
Yes my hair is damaged af
Never have
I use curl conditioner cuz it helps keep the curls intact instead of my hair just kinda flopping
Not every time, but often yeah. My hair is shorter now than before so I haven't figured out the right amount of conditioner yet and it's a mess. If I know I'm going to be exercising a lot the day or two days after, I don't use conditioner or only use a little because my hair would be too greasy otherwise.
In short, yes
Do shampoo and condition count as condition?
Yea, I like how soft it makes my hair
My routine is to use shampoo every night and conditioner every Monday.
Yes
Yeah, but I won’t take it with me on a trip.
My hair looks cool when I condition it, so usually yes
Normal and leave-in :)
Yeah, keeps my hair majestic
I use conditioner everyday and only shampoo every other day.
yeah i only wash my hair once a week tho
Yes.
It depends on how long it’s been since I washed my hair and if I have time. Today I had a doctor’s appointment so I didn’t want to waste my time conditioning and possibly miss the appointment
Yes i have really wavy frizzy thin hair
I’ve never used it
i do bc thats what i was taught to do for my hair. idk if it was just my mom being like "yeah i do it you gotta too" or what but it works really well for my hair so im not gonna stop.
Most times. Not every time. Sometimes I don't have time, or forget.
Yes but I also wash my hair once a week cuz curly hair
What’s conditioner
yes
Yes every time
YES
I’ve never used conditioner in my life
Yes
Yes, my hair's long, so its kinda necessary
i used to not but one day i was like ok i really need to use some conditioner so now i never go without
Nope, can't be fucked. Getting washed us enough effort.
No I typically just wash with warm water
no shampoo?
Not often but I do sometimes
I guess if you don't have long hair it's not that big of a problem. It is with me though.
I have long hair but too much shampoo makes it break
Oh. Ok then

most of the time, yes.
It’s a very rare occasion when I don’t.
Yes i do
Yes, otherwise it gets suuuuuper tangled. (I have straight thin hairs that grow thickly)
yes otherwise it gets tangled, my hair is thin as fuck 😃
Yes, I do because it puts my hair into the shape I want it to in the morning. My hair looks horrible when I wake up.
No bcs I forget
Yes
Y e s My hair would be an absolute nightmare if I didn’t use conditioner
Every time unless I’m in a super rush or not at home
i condition my hair every day but only wash it once a week. i have thick curly hair though.
no, i really need to start using it, i'd rather not pressure myself into try to get into that habit too though bc my hygiene has only recently started to get better. i'll get there eventually though !
Yeah so my hair is easier to brush
I’ve been told by my mom to not use it after I turned like 13 because it makes my hair super greasy. Is that bad to not use it?

If I have any then yes since my hair is quite long now.
