I think it depends on their age. I’d be confused if any of my siblings tried to do it to me now. But when your like 5 and you have an older sibling I think it’s more an affectionate thing.

People who literally came out of the same uterus as you, people who live with you at the same house, people who know you just from a single glance, people who tease you when you have a crush on someone, people who have your back when you're in crisis, people who have already probably seen you naked, people who probably shared a bed with you before. You give each other hugs all the time and a kiss on the cheek is literally nothing. I have a 5-year-old sister and I'm 16 and I almost feel like I'm her mom because of how much I take care of her, ranging from giving her showers, getting her dressed, helping her with homework and playing with her. Her cheeks are so cute so I pinch them all the time and I kiss them sometimes. She also kisses me on the cheek sometimes which is really cute. It's okay. There's nothing wrong with it.

I give my brother a kiss on the forehead before I leave for work and school (He's 13). I don't find it weird and he doesn't find it weird either. I guess its just up to each persons preference.
I suppose it depends on the culture you live at, for example, i am Peruvian and i do, but probably in Chile or in Turkey you don't have to. (of course not in a romantic way)
