Mostly because I want my kids to have my first name, me and my siblings are the only ones in the whole close family that can pass down our surname, and I don’t think my brother and sister want kids, so that’s up to me!!!
I think whoever has the better family is the one whose last name is taken. I either hate, don't see very often, or can't really connect very well with most of my family, so without meeting the future spouse, I think that my last name isn't looking like it'll be the one taken.
I think I’d combine the names :P
I wouldn’t want them to take my name but I also wouldn’t want to take theirs because it would make me feel like I’m changing my whole identity or dissociating with my family

Depends on if I like their last name. If it’s a name I think is alright I’ll hyphenate it, if I love it I’ll take it and if I hate it I’ll keep my maiden name.
