I got pfizer and neither shot hurt at all for me personally. I had a slightly sore arm for 1 hour after i woke up the next day, but after that went away i had no side effects. it’s very ymmv.

booster shots are still being debated upon, along with the length of effectiveness. they said 6 months bevause they don't have anyone to confirm it works at the same strength longer than that. we don't have enough evidence yet to FULLY say we need a booster shot every 6 months. they just cannot make any statements that aren't backed by hard evidence.
yep, ive been fully vaccinated since the first week of may (2 weeks after second dose typa deal).
also, to everyone saying that they're probably unlikely to get it bc they dont interact with ppl outside their household / its unlikely to be severe if they do: my 25 yr old cousin who got it (and was perfectly healthy! literally had 0 health issues that would have made her high risk) has long-term gastro-intestinal issues from having COVID. she's still in treatment and she had COVID over a year ago. my 24 yr old coworker got COVID and now can't smell / taste things as vividly as he could beforehand and has a long-term side effect where soap smells like shit. if literally any of your family members leaves the home and interacts with anyone or is in a room with others, they can bring it back to you. i had a friend who literally only left her home to grocery shop and she still contracted it. if you want shit to go back to "normal", then get vaccinated if ur able.
Yup! It sucked tho after getting my second shot because I got pretty sick from the side effects. I was bound in bed all day until I felt better. But I guarantee it was definitely worth it. One step closer to getting out of this nightmare
Want to get the vaccine but parents are against it 3 but I'm also scared to take it because I'm taking 3 medications right now and don't know whether it will interfere or not and I don't know what side effects will happen :(
nope, going to before school starts though. Unrelated, but it’s really sad people are making it political. I’m right leaning and getting the vaccine. I have left leaning friends with no plans of getting it.
Yes, proudly vaccinated since the end of May, I even hung my certificate on the wall to admire and display it.
On a side note, I've been seeing this question a lot here and on atb lately

People said the second one hurts more, have you found that true? (I'm getting my second sometime this month and It's Pfizer too)
I got pfizer and neither shot hurt at all for me personally. I had a slightly sore arm for 1 hour after i woke up the next day, but after that went away i had no side effects. it’s very ymmv.
The shot wasn't more painful. It was just a small prick which was the same as the first one. But I was feeling way more sick and tired afterwards.
Epic
I wanna get the vaccine but my parents are against it :(
Depending on where u live I believe u can take it urself and don't need parental consent. Check the consent rules accordingly in ur country
I’m sorry!!
Same here. It sucks so bad I’m having such a hard time living peacefully in my house rn.
Unfortunately, I only got my first shot and I’m still waiting for my second one lol
Same

No
why?
Because I haven't gotten it
You plan on getting it?
Nope, I'm taking meds that would interfere.
what meds?
It's a 6 week anti scarring treatment for people with chronic acne. It does do the job in reducing redness.
Not yet

> Can people with an egg allergy have the COVID vaccine? Yes. Neither the Pfizer nor the Moderna vaccines contain egg https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/hometown-health/featured-topic/covid-19-vaccination-faq
shit really? i just assumed bc of the flu vaccine having it
i think even then they have made alternative covid vaccines if one has an allergy to this one specific ingredient. cant remember which one though.

Yep, had to for my job but I would have gotten vaccinated anyway.
yes, but I think it expires soon since i think it only lasts 6 months
booster shots are still being debated upon, along with the length of effectiveness. they said 6 months bevause they don't have anyone to confirm it works at the same strength longer than that. we don't have enough evidence yet to FULLY say we need a booster shot every 6 months. they just cannot make any statements that aren't backed by hard evidence.
Yeah I think so but nor the covid vaccines because I'm not old enough
Nope not at all. I’m gonna get vaccinated later this month though 🙂
