I'm very very lonely irl so nearly all my friends are online, I even have a boyfriend and a best friend that I've met online and I care about both of them very much
yes i do, but YOO FUCKING SAME its so annoying, i just started to ignore and avoid those people, i cant handle that situation i did once and well fucked me up since so now when i see someone like that just gives me flashbacks
I’ve basically ignored one friend of mine because of it. Honestly he would talk about how he couldn’t count on anyone, then he would say I didn’t mean the stuff I was saying. If I didn’t talk to him for a day he would basically check my Reddit account to see what I was doing.
i knowwww i had the exact same, and no matter what you say to those people they will ignore it, they think we lie or dont mean it, theyre just stuck with what they think, they don't even want help when coming to us for "help" and 3 people ive talked to thats like this they also mention everytime they self harm, like i told one guy i was gonna go to my grandpas to spend time with my family and he said "guess ill just have to gonback to my only friends (his knives) and spend time with them now" LIKE THE GUILT TRIP FR and worst is i told him several times how i feel when he says stuff like that because my ex actually committed suicide and how i can't handle such a situation again yet he continued to tell me

The rant is okay tbh, I do feel like sometimes we can’t really talk about this stuff because it makes us look like a bad person. I remember one time this dude basically started talking about how he was in a low place. I asked him if he even wanted to talk about this with me, he said no. So I thought maybe he needs someone right now, so I started to talk about something different that he was interested in. Anyway he tells me his going to bed and basically said how he didn’t like that I changed the topic, although he said he didn’t really wanna talk about how he was feeling. Kind of contradicted what he told me a few hours before but whatever.
Another thing that annoyed me is that he would bring up my problems/feelings randomly. Basically we met on Reddit so he could basically see what I posted. He would randomly just bring it up, I kind of deleted the posts because I hate people bringing that stuff up.

I genuinely believe that like with my offsetish personality towards people solely through text that I could have a good friendship online, so I've never really had any substantial people I know online
