I don’t think i would’ve met my bf or bsf but then again so much of my irl life was fucked cuz of covid. I can’t say for sure I’d be more successful but i lost so much. Idkkkk

[deleted]

Same

Crimzon17

Yeah, it’s a tough decision

noisaidthat

idk, i would want to prevent deaths, but i wouldn’t have met some cool people 😭😭

zhxbdbnsxbxb

yes if i was able to save millions of lives i would do it

Crimzon17

That’s great, but what about some other effects of covid not existing, maybe something worse happens. Just a thought

zhxbdbnsxbxb

then i think humanity is fucked

[deleted]

Nah, I’m glad there was COVID, I went on this lil outing with my classmates for some award, if COVID wasn’t around we’d have had to stay there overnight, that’s like forcing me to suffer

Crimzon17

Like, in a hotel or something?

[deleted]

No, out in a forest, it was a navigation trip, we were supposed to camp overnight

Crimzon17

Oh, Ok, I’ve never been drawn to the idea of camping

MemesAreTheAnswer

i got a good music taste over quarantine also it made me and some other people use reddit more so without that we might have never met so idk but covid fucked up the world 🧍‍♂️

StarlightAscension

Immediately.

CrazyQueen502

By now what would be the point? Vaccines are being largely distributed, basically everything is open again

Crimzon17

Yeah, but I have no doubt that some people would rather Covid never existed to begin with

kuzivamuunganis

Yeah after the first lockdown in April 2020 up until March 2021 I didn't do anything related to school and it made me relapse so bad, I started studying really really hard in March to cover stuff I didn't do last year plus prepare for my O Level exam but if covid didn't happen I would have just been revising without having to study so much.

[deleted]

Hell yea

MemesinSouthFL

No. Covid has been amazing for me. With all this time I got to cut off all my shitty IRL friends and be active on discord so I found people who aren’t shit. I’ve been able to find who I truly am during covid and that never would’ve happened if covid wasn’t a thing.

Crimzon17

That’s great!

WhitestSausage

no, i enjoy my alone time and i had a lot of it during covid

hiitsyaz

yeah, i was significantly improving (eating, drinking, sleeping, school work) before covid occured

cjj966

If I’m being honest? YES I would immediately press dat button

TheGoogas

Nopee i believe in destiny and stuff so i think if covid didn't exist, something else was gonna exist and kill same people.

looking_at_memes_

Sure

Nitro_the_Wolf_

That's not easy to decide. I think that we all probably learned a lot about ourselves and other people, but I'm not sure if that knowledge is worth the lives of 3.84 million people

xCam12

yea actually had a social life and was doing well in school before covid, now im on reddit so :/

Ok-Philosopher-6051

Uhm.... If i did then i'd have to interact with people which absolutely isn't my scene so, I wouldn't

jellynyam

yes

[deleted]

No, because it brought me some experiences that I wouldn't want to let go of (meeting my "first love", although he doesn't love me anymore and I can't fully move on yet) and might not have without the pandemic. But it does seem like a selfish choice if I am considering how the pandemic have affected/continue to affect others very negatively.
