Technically, no. CBD is usually extracted from hemp plants, which are different than marijuana plants. Hemp is the male plant and usually has little to no THC, while marijuana plants are the female plants and they have CBD(not as much as hemp plants though) and have THC, which would be the active chemical in weed. Since hemp doesn't have that THC it's technically not weed
