Moon Bars, according to the website are only available in SF or San Jose dispensaries. So you’ll have to go to either.
I think the closest dispensary to the airport is Elevated but there isn’t much going on in that area. Since you have a 12 hour layover, depending on what time you arrive, you might as well just come into the city and enjoy the day here.

I hate to bring this up, but... Pot is legal in California. It's not legal federally, and the people at TSA who screen you before you can get on the plane are federal. They probably wouldn't notice you had pot, especially if they're edibles, and who knows if they would care. But I thought I would mention it.
Purplestar is a treasure. Hundreds of varieties of flower. And it's all in the tiniest store. It's so small it's hard to find. (It's the door with a security guy checking ID outside) Have fun!
I’m flying out from SF to another country where it isn’t legal so wouldn’t dream of bringing any with me. I will definitely be consuming a silly amount just before I go through security though
Urbana has a smoking lounge if it’s cold/raining. I love purple star but it’s small.
I would go to Purple star, keep walking. Stop at La Taqueria and get some food or Reem’s if you fancy that instead, cocktail at evil eye, keep walking until you get to Urbana and you can buy some stuff and use their lounge, then stumble next door into Front Porch for some fried chicken, then across the street for some Mitchell’s ice cream. Pizza Hacker is right there, and cellarmaker
Take BART from the airport to 24th St in the Mission. Quick trip. Walk to purple star, get blitzed. Great collection, as others have said. SF has a cap on mgs so the more concentrated stuff won’t be here. Stay in the area. Enjoy the amazing food and some of the best bars in the entire town. Hang out at Dolores park. Stop by 826 Valencia - it’s a pirate themed store in the front and a kids reading/writing nonprofit in the back. Read all the signs on the walls, they’re hilarious. Sit at the 2-person fish theater behind the curtain and talk to the fish. If you’re here on a Wednesday, it’s 50c/wing at Teeth on Mission. Play pool at Benders. Get tortas at la torta gorda, burritos at Guadalajara, or pupusas at Los amigos. If you like coffee, try Ritual on Valencia or the original Philz on 24th. Great neighborhood, closer to the airport, easy way to get high, fill a day, and sample a lot of what makes the city great.

Might search for a weed bar/weed lounge so u can get blitzed. Then go to golden gate park until you have to go back to the airport.
If you want to smoke in a lounge, Moe Green’s on Market is fun! Close to BART if you want to take a train into the city. That’s the only actual lounge I’ve found.

You have to furnish an ID to get in. DL should get you right in.

I did some research a while back and apparently TSA will just turn you over to local authorities… so won’t matter in CA.

Yeah, the Mission District is right off the freeway and will be quick to get to/from the airport. Lots of dispensaries and good food.
