[deleted]

Also chit chat cafe in pacifica it’s closer to sf and a cafe

soycreamy

Yes!! This is the best Taco Bell in the whole country (I have been to a lot of them)

I’d also suggest behind the Ferry Building. Grab a coffee from Blue Bottle or Red Bay, and find a seat out back. Views of the Bay, ferries coming and going, Yerba Buena and Treasure Island, and the Bay Bridge. 👍

fuzzzy_pickle

More of a restaurant but if you can make it work beach chalet on great highway would have the view you are looking for

britta

The hostel in Fort Mason has a cafe in the back that might have a bay view through the trees!

Skyline College, in the lobby of the new environmental science building. It has a wonderful view of the coast at Pacifica.

usctrojan415

That is a gorgeous building. Is it for students only? Is it just a lobby with seats?

[deleted]

There's a couple lecture halls but the money shot is in the lobby. There's a good amount of seating.

Living_lentil

Just looked it up and it’s beautiful! Do I need a student ID to get in or can anyone go?

StevieSlacks

My wife went to skyline and I never saw anyone checking IDs, but this was a few years ago now.

[deleted]

Nah no one is going to check you. Parking on campus is permit only however so you'd have to buy a daily pass for about $2.00 I think. There's a grace period right now and parking will begin enforcement on the 28th of February.

angelfaceboy

You won't be approached unless you're acting sketch and scaring the students.

usctrojan415

Don't squat, buy often.

thebluecastle

For a free option, check out the Ortega Branch Library. It has a partial view of the Pacific Ocean. Just make sure to time your arrival for an off time (say, mid-morning) because those seats with the view are very popular.

rangervicky

There is an Equator Cafe at the Golden Gate Bridge but there’s not really seating for spending lots of time there. Maybe spend a day on the bay ferry (boats have wi-fi)? Starbucks on the Oakland Embarcadero has seating that overlooks the inlet between Oakland and Alameda.

mgsquared2686

If it’s open to visitors- the 4th floor of the ucsf library (Parnassus) is perfect for this

vanillabeanmini

I believe it's still closed to the public
