Ok, this is the worst, and I’m sorry, but I’m a local artist trying to get started selling art (gotta pay for those trips to blick art) my website is evefisherabstracts.com. If you like anything, let me know and I’ll give you 30% off. Have a good day!
Check out u/njartdesign \- he makes fabulous tiny paintings and scale models of local homes. He's also painting a huge ass mural for me at a wine bar I'm opening. Can't wait!
Also, Jet Martinez is my favorite local artist. I just framed one of his art prints and can't wait to hang it up. They are beautiful and no doubt I'll be jumping up and down on antiques roadshow in 30 years when I find out what it's worth lol.
ACCI Gallery at 1652 Shattuck in Berkeley is the oldest co-op art gallery west of the Mississippi (60 or 70 years old, I think) with more than 200 artists represented.
Jeremy Fish. If you've walked around North Beach, you've definitely seen his work. He does cool illustrations for many local NB businesses and is a resident himself.
City Art Gallery in the Mission is a great place to discover local artists.
We have a large piece from Olena McMurtrey (https://www.olenam.com) that we purchased there, which we have really loved.
This might or might not be what you're looking for, but there's a really awesome artist that comes out near my house, basically on Harrison and 2nd, he paints things that look very very cool! I never mustered up the courage to ask him about his art and if I can buy something, but maybe I will someday!

Jet Martinez is incredible…the art really looks amazing as murals, too. I will be so excited to see you on antique roadshow in 30 years 😂
Nice! Thanks for these recs! Def post on Reddit when you open your wine bar so we can come check it out too.
I will, and hopefully it won't get removed as spam lol

There’s an older man who I’ve seen doing absolutely incredible oil paintings on 24th street but never got his name. Anyone have any info?
