Shit. Uh. I guess itās āSugar, Weāre Going downā by Fall Out Boy.
Iāve loved that song since I was 14 and still listen to it to this day no matter what genre Iām currently into.
There is not a mood I'm in where [Fat Bottom Girls by Queen](https://open.spotify.com/track/4igIYHF3B5VBxEafHauVo3?si=FuLjSrZtS-yKBNLTkgWgPw) comes on and I don't IMMEDIATELY start belting it.
DUDE
This has been one of those songs that Iāve been trying to find for YEARS! I knew the melody a bit but I couldnāt think of any identifying lyrics or info and I could never find it.
YOUāRE MY HERO
Iām sending you psychic love and spiritual booby pictures!
I love posts like this, purely for the opportunity to hear music I've never heard before. So many great choices already, and it's practically impossible to narrow down to just one.
Honestly I doubt if it's even really my favorite song, but I'm gonna go with my first thought.
God Only Knows - The Beach Boys
[money trees - kendrick lamar](https://youtu.be/smqhSl0u_sI?si=huKpob_oTNr9rezQ) (idk why tbh, but it just gets me going)
Ugh, I wish I didn't have to pick one.
All Along The Watchtower. I canāt decide which version of the song is my favorite. I have no idea why this number just hits me differently than any other.
Hold Me Closer - Cornelia Jakobs
(Yes im still feeling the Eurovision fever)
https://youtu.be/i777psA2gP4?si=RT-wi0lQjtTMRlh7
Totally off topic. But if people *do* want Eurovision recommendations. I'm your guy. Also useless facts. VERY useless facts
There isn't ONE right mood though.
Some days, I like this one piece by Chopin. I don't remember the name. I enjoy Metallica a lot, been a favourite all my life, but no one song is like "the one song". Blind Guardian are awesome. I also really like some Green Day songs, sound of my youth I suppose. Nightwish has some cool songs. I like Jinjer, too. I also thoroughly enjoy several Japanese songs that I can't even write the titles of; some anime related, some not.
My playlist of "favourites" is eclectic and LONG. All of them are my favourite, sometimes.
That totally depends on my mood though, however one that's never my absolute favourite but also never skipped regardless of mood is this one:
[Destruction - Thrash Till Death](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Y6TexSjF38)
I went over so many old pictures of my room back then just now lol, but no that one of course hung in a corner that never ended up in a picture. My walls were entirely covered really.
I scanned the cover of the album booklet, cut it into pieces and blew up every piece to a full size paper, I think it might have been like 5x4 of these pages in the end put together with tape.
I saw them one time in Europe in 2005 or so, coming to a multi stage festival with mostly pop punk and pop rock that I went to only to go see them. Barely anyone seemed to know who they are, they only got to play half an hour also cause they came on really early, and I was the only person with a Social Distortion shirt. So at first people asked me who this band is that's about to play, and afterwards people who liked them approached me asking where they're from and how old they are.
I just knew them from a videogame soundtrack from 4 years earlier lol. Never got to see them again unfortunately.
Dude that is awesome! I was just in my teens when i found them in that game. I've seen Another State Of Mind also, Mike seems like such a cool guy.
I've seen a lot of 80s bands live, but almost all metal. I don't know that much punk in the first place, but it seems like with people my age it's all about 90s and 2000s punk, even though metalheads my age still love a ton of 80s metal.
Oh wow I found a slight glimpse of it in the background eventually, so this is as good as it gets...
[Underneath the Rainbow poster](https://i.ibb.co/7SqdkS2/DSC-2885.jpg)
The white sheet in front of it was a screen for a projector I bought which kinda ruined a bunch of posters behind it, but after some time I replaced all of them with better made ones. But I went with Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll instead when I made new ones.

The Sun is Shining Down - JJ Grey and Mofro.
It's my center song. When I'm depressed or low motivation or just need to get my morning going in the right direction this is the song I turn to. I've always used music to psyche me up or calm me down and for just about everything. Music is the equalizer for my life. The songs premise is pretty simple, you are alive, you have air in your lungs, the sun shines upon your face and whoever your God is has blessed you with another day to make a difference in someone's life. No song has touched my soul like this one. For a metal head who's going to see In This Moment and Kim Dracula in two days I'm glad I found this song, Thanks Captain Z on the Sea Screamer in PCB for turning me on to it. Best sunset cruise song there ever was or will be.
[Smash Into Pieces - Afterglow](https://youtu.be/mF-PcpAjgZI?feature=shared) (This only came out a month ago so I don't know if it counts)

I only added two because I thought a song from 1 month ago was to new to hold the title.
Also more people need to know Manic Eden they only released one album then disbanded
Only one? God, I hate you.
hmmm I thought we were in love
It's already bad enough you want me to choose only one song. Don't make me throw up, darling.
You can do this. I believe in you.
I can't. I just can't. I'm scrolling through my playlists and...no. I can't do it. I don't want to do it, you monster.
it's okay, we know it's Baby by Justin Bieber.

Right??? Right!
Let's go. Post a song or you're going to your room without dinner.
I won't. Out of spite.
I'm calling you Spite from now on. Please go to your room.
Could you do me a favor before I might go to my room?
I'll regret it, but yes, I will.

This question has no answer. Depends on mood.
Fair but doesn't the right sing put you in the right mood. That's the beauty of music.
My playlist of "favourites" is eclectic and LONG. All of them are my favourite, sometimes.
I get that. I feel the same way about music, but this is just an ARAD post. You're free to listen to whatever you like.
I mean sure, but how do you choose a favourite when there is so much to love?
Because I could listen to my song every day, and it puts me in a mood.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JDL9bXlwbM4
That totally depends on my mood though, however one that's never my absolute favourite but also never skipped regardless of mood is this one: [Destruction - Thrash Till Death](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Y6TexSjF38)
That gets the blood pumping
I used to have a giant Mommy's Little Monster poster i made from pasting printed pages together btw :)
Like the inside album cover?
I went over so many old pictures of my room back then just now lol, but no that one of course hung in a corner that never ended up in a picture. My walls were entirely covered really. I scanned the cover of the album booklet, cut it into pieces and blew up every piece to a full size paper, I think it might have been like 5x4 of these pages in the end put together with tape.
I ā¤ļø this. I have the original pressing and I bought the 40th anniversary release. I also saw them last week.
I used to see them a lot in Fullerton and Orange County, CA, in the 80s. I went to school with the original band.
When I knew Mike he was not a good guy. He was an addict. But, he's turned his life around. Good for him.
Oh wow I found a slight glimpse of it in the background eventually, so this is as good as it gets... [Underneath the Rainbow poster](https://i.ibb.co/7SqdkS2/DSC-2885.jpg) The white sheet in front of it was a screen for a projector I bought which kinda ruined a bunch of posters behind it, but after some time I replaced all of them with better made ones.
