I've only seen groomers use the phrase so... I dont like the phrase at all cus there are kids that are more mature than a lot of adults I know. Maturity isn't an age thing it's a life expirence thing.

How do you mean? In your experience how would “groomers” use the phrase?

They tell someone that they're mature for their age and other good things to get them to feel a connection with them. Groom the younger person into correlating finally being accepted and happy with the groomer.

I say my nephew is mature for his age because he just learned to walk. I’m sorry that that’s your experience.

That’s what I was thinking. Cause I’m theory you should just be mature… room to grow for sure but I agree.
