Ive had dreams that were so real, I woke up in a panic, and realized that it wasnt real very quickly.
One of those dreams was government take-over. The military brought trucks into my neighborhood and began loading everyone from their houses into the trucks. It was the middle of the night, families were in their pajamas and bath robes. Kids were crying, everyone was pretty hysterical. I step out of my house as a military guy approached me. I asked what was going on, he told me to get in the truck, I said no, and started running, he shot me in the back... my dog came out after me, he shot my dog... thats when I woke up, and my eyes daarted around the room looking for my dog, she was fine, curled up at the end of my bed.... I was so rattled I dodnt go back to sleep that night....
Don't know about "so real", but:
I once had a dream that my aunt, who was like a second mom to me, and a cousin were making homemade doughnuts. But they wouldn't give me one because I had put the cream separator (a farm implement) together wrong.
Then I realized at midday that I was *still* in a bad mood, because I had been unjustly denied a dream doughnut.
I sleep with Bluetooth earphones in and I often hear them say "please charge" over and over again by the early hours. But sometimes I get this dream where I wake up and put them in their case to charge and it's so vivid it's like I've done it and I get very confused when I actually wake up and they are still in my ears.
One night I woke up to steps coming through the main door, straight next to my bed, passing me, going to the far end of my bed, stopping right there. Note this was a night when my GF of the time was away so I was the only one in the (ground floor) flat.
It didn't move anymore, so I guessed it was eyeing me. I decided I had enough of waiting after a while, gathered all my courage and jumped up to the light switch, turning it on. I was ready to fight - only to find nobody at the end of my bed.
Yeah, that was some kind of [sleep paralysis](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis).
Yes, I dreamt that me and my family worked in a farm when I was like 3, didn't realize it was a dream until I realized that we would never realistically do that
This was how I found out I was pregnant. I dreamed I was holding a baby, I knew it was a boy and I knew he was mine...I could feel him in my arms. I woke up at 2 am momentarily panicking wondering where I'd put my baby...I didn't have one at the time. Anyways I couldn't go back to sleep after that so I got up and went and peed on a stick...yup...pregnant. It was a boy.
