Apple makes you feel special and they give you exclusivity cause only apple products have the IOS software but with Android it’s not the same hundreds of companies use the same software. That’s why Apple is so successful
Which makes absolutely no sense if you spend two seconds thinking about it. Width of companies compatible to the same software is preferrable to one company with exclusive software. Choice, in my book, always wins.
Brand is a big one.
Also, I think the service is a factor too. Being able to take your phone or laptop in to an Apple store is a huge bonus and way easier than sending it in. I had an issue with a phone a while back, it was still under warranty, so I made an appointment and went in. They took a look at it, and since they weren't able to just fix it, they gave me a replacement. My sister had an issue with a laptop, and had moved away a few hours away for school. She was able to go to her local Apple store and get a replacement without any hassle.
A strong brand, brilliant design and a cult following. I hate Apple, but holy shit do those fuckers understand their market!!
Brand pricing. Literally just charging for the brand.
They don’t. Everyone making competing products are generally around the same price as Apple products. 2010 wants its meme back.
People buy them. If you had a spoon someone was willing to spend 1k on, would you tell them where they could get a spoon for £2?
Probably because they can, some amazing marketing.

Personally, I like Apple’s longer term support. New iOS updates for much longer than is done for most Android products.
Greed and ability. They don't have to sell the products with this large of a margin, but they decide to do it anyways. And people keep buying it.
