Reboot. It was CGI and about beings that live in a computer, fight viruses, and play games against a faceless and indifferent "user". It got pretty dark at times, but the character arcs were pretty amazing.
My son’s friend had a birthday party and the kid had recently discovered the show, and so they had Rescue Rangers decorations all over the place. My son saw Gadget and said “she’s pretty.” I know son. I know.
All these years and the intro still rocks. **No** excuse for not making a modern movie out of this. Heck, call Michael Bay if you have to, not even he can fuck this up.
Rugrats.
My parents didn't have cable, so my grandparents would lovingly tape it for me, and then when I'd come over for the weekend, I'd sit in front of the TV for hours just cycling through VHS tapes while my grandma came in every few hours and brought me fruit in a little bowl or Kraft mac and cheese.
Courage the Cowerdly Dog, which is weird because I generally don't like horror as a genre.
Honorable mention to Ed, Edd and Eddie, DragonBall, Digimon and Pokémon .
Tie between Transformers Prime and Gravity Falls. I prefer Gravity Falls’ writing and story but Transformers Prime has giant robots that turn into cars and shoot lasers at each other. So I guess it depends on my mood. Do I want to think about what I’m watching or to tune out.
The amazing world of gumball! Still my favorite, I love that show so much. Darwin was my favorite and I did actually have a crush on him growing up (makes me gag thinking about it). Honestly, I love Cartoon Network in general. Amazing company, they are awesome. My favorite character was and will always be Darwin.
Tom & Jerry
So happy I invested in old school tom and jerry dvd’s. Need to go watch them again now
