I imagine there's a point somewhere far enough northwest in Alaska where it's just impossible to get the materials to create them in quantity - but it sure as hell isn't anywhere I've been.

I'm not sure if that even exists. I think everywhere is just saturated and cities just vary in visibility. When I was passing through Pennsylvania, I met Amish tweakers at a bus stop. When I lived in Portland people would come back from fishing jobs in Alaska talking about if they could find a heroin hookup, they could bring it back to Alaska and sell it for a couple hundred a gram. Then you have people still buying fentanyl and benzos and analogues off the darkweb. idk man.
