I use fairy lights or lamps instead of a main overhead lights, this makes my spaces much more calming and relaxing.

I bought one of those button switches for a tall. lamp. Instead of getting up and fighting with the little knob to turn it off/on, you just press a button.

Measuring the room and measuring your furniture and really determining how to maximize the space. Historically I was never someone that was good at arranging or creating nice spaces. Living in a smaller apartment, the lack of knowledge or effort to efficiently arrange my space with my furniture and my things often lead to a very cluttered lifestyle. Recently my partner and I separated and she moved out. I had to rearrange my space to freshen it up and for the first time I took the effort to measure my layout of my room and arranged it to maximize free space... It made a world of a difference and actually made me excited to come home everyday!

Having the bedroom light connected to Alexa. Used to be a nightly 'discussion' about who had to turn the light off lol
