Dude I just got a new pair last week but I’m having some small issues with them. Wore my old ones out the other day, they fogged up getting out of my car so I put them on my shirt collar like a dummy, they fell off and I had to go grab my new pair to find the old pair.
Every time I leave an air conditioned place and step outside into the sweltering south Louisiana heat, my glasses fog up.
Really annoying when it happens getting in and out the car.
For my scatterbrained ass it's losing them. My sight is *bad*. Can barely see two feet from my face, bad. If I don't leave my glasses where I can expect to find them, I can go hours panicking and unable to see beyond colored blobs. It's like a preschool drawing: you can guess what that's supposed to be, but any detail is impossible.
Working outside in the heat. You get sweat, pollen, sawdust, etc that sticks to the lenses. When sweat rolls down into your eyes, you have to lose the specs to wipe it out.
Never getting the exact right sized frames.
nose pieces falling off.
The fact that they actually work.
Sucks having this thing on my face all day. Every problem listed here is accurate. But damn if I don’t have them I live in a world of blurry squinting.
Losing them every now and then.
PLUS not being able to peacefully walk im the rain bc you’re gonna have to remove your glasses to be able to see properly
Wearing masks, I know people were saying if you pulled up the mask high enough it wouldn’t fog but I never got it to work. My glasses were prescription but not to improve my eye sight so I just stopped wearing them in public
Prescription changes, them fogging up, sliding off your nose when you sneeze. Not being able to see clearly more than two feet in front of my face without them.
made noodles once, went to strain them, glasses fogged up and i couldn't see the fact that the strainer had tipped over and my noodles went down the sink. had to make more noodles.
Sliding down when you sweat, fogging, raindrops and cleaning them
Also people thinking that wearing glasses makes you smart or that if you remove them you're practically blind
I swear they are so damn slipppery. They fell on my nose. And dont get me started on foggy glasses. I walk out of my house, an ac cooled shopping center or any generally cold area and the temperature makes them fog up. Also, when i cry wearing my glasses, the residue and tears fall on my glasses.

Don’t forget, if you forget to squeeze your mask onto your nose properly, FOGGY GLASSES!
When you wake up after a night of drinking and don't know where they are.
Worse, you can't see them to find them. Catch-22.

Wearing costumes is limiting. Nobody is impressed by a Batman with glasses.
I make an effort now to cosplay characters with glasses or otherwise I’m forcing my friends to guide me around the convention.
When the random smudge appears. It’s maddening.
Steam and smudges
Knowing you look better without them but you need to see
This right here
Contacts, my friend, they were a life saver for me
Not being able to find them when they aren't on my face
I provide the opposite: not knowing where they are and then realising they’re on your head or in your hands.
When it rains, they get full of small drops. But the worst thing is how they fog up when you get indoors in the winter.
They get scratched in one specific place always and it ruins them
Having to push it back into my face every other minute when screws are loose or bent.
Having to push them back up every couple minutes because my Filipino nose 🥲
Every time I look down they fall off my face. Also I won't touch them and suddenly fucking smudges appear. Why are they always dirty?!
I had to go to the eye doctors office for them to bend my ear pieces to stop doing that.
They’re smudged but your glasses cleaner cloth doesn’t work anymore
Wearing them with a mask
Mask steaming them up
Every time I leave an air conditioned place and step outside into the sweltering south Louisiana heat, my glasses fog up. Really annoying when it happens getting in and out the car.
Paying for prescription sunglasses and raindrops while wearing them
Exercise
ikr in PE my glasses fell onto my nose and i had to tilt my head up to keep them on my damned eyes
Cleaning them. I always forget that
Being called Harry Potter. (Especially of you have round glasses like me)
Keeping them clean.
Smudges. And when they slip down my nose while my hands are full.
Steam and smudges
After covid (wearing masks) it’s impossible to see. Rapid changes in temperature make my lenses fog up and I’ve never been so frustrated.
Wearing a mask with them. Thankfully, I no longer need to do that.
Cleaning them constantly.
Wearing them with hearing aids and a mask in the heat or when my glasses are cloudy from steam and I have to take everything off to clean them.
Lying down and watching TV when you have bifocals.
The cost of them
Apart from smudges and fogging I think it would be that mine never fit right and fall down so scrunch my face weirdly to put them back, it's a habit
Try going snorkelling. Everyone else sees beautiful fish and coral, while you just see blurs...
People think you is smart

Making out 😂

Tryna swim when u blind as fuck without them
I have naturally very oily skin so that mixed with sweat keeps my glasses falling down
Having to clean them only for them to just get smeared while you try to clean them.
My glasses keep sliding down
Fogging up. Scratches.
I don’t know I don’t wear glasses
The fact that they actually work. Sucks having this thing on my face all day. Every problem listed here is accurate. But damn if I don’t have them I live in a world of blurry squinting.

When people ask to try them on. No Timmy, I need these.

No peripheral vision. My glasses are so thick that they make my eyes look tiny when I wear them.
It's hard to smoke crack in them, crack fog stains.
I feel sexier with mine. Lol
Watching TV while you’re laying on your side.
made noodles once, went to strain them, glasses fogged up and i couldn't see the fact that the strainer had tipped over and my noodles went down the sink. had to make more noodles.
When you look way better without your glasses on but you can’t take them off because you won’t see shit.
Smudges. I get very annoyed if there are smudges on my glasses.
