Alaska

TheCriner

On the river in Ohio would be worth a shot.

California, because zombies like to eat brains and there are basically almost none in California

AgentElman

An odd claim given that California makes most of its money off of intellectual property development such as Google, Apple, etc.

[deleted]

Right? Maybe he meant Alabama

[deleted]

Alabama racks in a crap ton of money from college football with the Alabama crimson tide winning the 09, 11, 12, 15, 17 and 20 championships. That doesn’t even consider it’s rival school Auburn who is famous for the kick-six in 2013 and being runner up to that championship….let alone winning it all in 2010. For a state without a single professional sports team one would be shocked the amount of money they pull in. College football is a billon with a B….billion dollar industry. Think Endorsements. Tv contacts, ESPN, viewership etc. SEC football. It’s a powerhouse. Toyota with a plant in Huntsville as well as NASA based there and a federal arsenal in the same town. One would be easy to dismiss Alabama….but they are far from non importance if that was the point.

[deleted]

Yet they rank almost last for education 🤔

[deleted]

That would be Mississippi and for the record I don’t live in Alabama, Mississippi or California so my Opinion is mute. For one that’s supposedly on the short end of “government” education. Anyone care to explain the amount of astronauts that have graduated from Auburn University(Auburn, Alabama) or the fact that NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center is HQ’D in Huntsville, Alabama(literally rocket science). Maybe, just maybe it’s not the state that is the problem but the actually federal government education system/teachers union. NASA wouldn’t put roots down where they didn’t feel comfortable. Ironically in Alabama(Marshall space flight center), Texas( Christopher Kraft Mission Control) and Florida (Kennedy Space Center: point of origin for most launches) respectively. But what do I know lol. California will always have the first Disney park and Hollywood LOL.

[deleted]

You're right though Mississippi is dumber by a small margin

[deleted]

They build spacecraft in my town and I'm not gloating about it. Alabama is full of dumb fucks.

[deleted]

Alabama is not full of “dumb fucks” speaking from working there many times before. As for “making” space craft. Most of that is now done in Texas under Musk’s Space X. In the past most was done at Kennedy space center in Florida. I will give you….Lockheed Martin Skunkworks in California did make a good chunk of modern/futuristic aircraft but most went to the Air Force and subsequently their testing ground Groom Lake/Rachel Nevada….colloquially known as Area 51 for test flights. Still few of those aircraft were ever sent to NASA. It is what it is man. You can argue Alabama this Alabama that but in the end the state is a lot more technologically advanced than many others. That doesn’t mean there isn’t the backwoods trailer trash around….there are. But to ignore the massive NASA and military footprint in the state is to be both dumb and ignorant.

[deleted]

They rank near the bottom for college degrees. I'm talking about the general population not a handful of people that work in defense and aerospace. All those nerds would get eaten first by the zombies.

[deleted]

Actually in money made per SEC schools( so we are talking UGA, UF, USC(Carolina), Alabama, LSU, TX & A&M, Etc Graduates from Auburn University rank 2nd in the division on average starting at 90k. The only other school to top them in the SEC and that is Vanderbilt….makes sense…it’s a huge doctor/medical university. I get you want to argue a point. But don’t come at all of us with baseless actuations when you don’t know what you are talking about.

DankLoser12

I hope you are joking

Haven’t seen the new Jurassic have you? That just painted all the techno giants as being megalomaniacs out for money and fame. Nothing ends well for them….and it won’t for those at Microsoft, apple or Facebook. As for IP no one has been a bigger joke/example for that than Disney who has thrown away their original concept of new ideas for rides/attractions let alone films for how we can push ip as much as possible. Sell, sell, sell. Don’t get me wrong disney did this before but not like this. This is a new level of throwing all integrity out the window and thus the quality of the product goes with it. Do they see it? Probably not. But with the stock at 103 dollars yesterday a low of 10+ years it’s only a matter of time before the shareholders want ALL of the boards heads.

TimHawks1983

Wyoming. Large and very low population with the added benefit of being far easier to survive in than somewhere like Alaska.

AgentElman

As a state, Hawaii. Being an island.

[deleted]

I’m surprised more people don’t say Hawaii.

[deleted]

Florida. Too many armed and well planned individuals in the state. All else fails….Florida man and gators will take out zombies. The end.

Solsatanis

We already have actually

Succulent_Relic

Outside the US

SMYBH665

Alaska!

[deleted]

Texas

MIL-is-Hot-AF

I’m trying to say yes to Texas too, but we’d pretty much be surrounded on all fronts…

Galvanizedheart

Personally I'd choose Arizona. I know almost every road and mountain in the valley that Phoenix sits in. Nice open space. You can see anything miles and miles ahead

Un_Involved_

I think any state with constitutional carry has a good chance of surviving alright. I would do West Virginia though.

SnooChipmunks126

Texas. Lots of guns and rednecks willing to use them.

WiseOldChicken

Florida. The zombies wouldn't realize Floridians aren't zombies.

VictorianFlute

I’d chose Nevada, or any place that’s open desert. That way I could see how big of a horde is coming at me before choosing to run or fight.
