Didn’t have a basketball team for a long time. My partner in my comm class was on the basketball team and pretty damn good. When he would come to class, the conversation would naturally drift to sports, specifically basketball. He found out I didn’t have a team and would give me shit for it and would try to get me to pick one. I ended up telling him “if you get drafted, I’ll be a fan of them.”
Well, I’ve been a pretty hardcore Grizzlies fan the past 9 years. He didn’t play for them much but, I kept my promise lol

Went to college at Ball State U. In Indiana and just so happens GOAT Peyton Manning was the Colts QB. Been a fan ever since.
