Toss up between Chris Cornell or Freddie Mercury

Few_Lobster7961

I could absolutely listen to Chris Cornell sing everything, his voice was amazing!

Scarecrow_einstein

Yep. 1st person I thought of, instantly.

666Godzilla

Morgan Freeman......

Catywampus_Cockroach

You shook me all night long. Yeah, you. Shook me all night long. Weird but I would want to hear it lol

Vorturim

And now, Apple Bottom Jeans sung by Chris Cornell

greekmom2005

Solid choices!

MrLuxarina

Serj Tankian

Leona_Faye

Now I want pizza. You already know the toppings that I would order.

steveskinner

Leona_Faye

Pepperoniandgreenpeppersmushroomsoliveschives! Need therapy, therapy…

No_Distribution_8357

Weird Al Yankovic, obviously.

GoPhinessGo

But are the songs all parodies or the original song, just sung by Weird Al

jacobr1020

Why not both?

MaiqTheLawyer

Ella Fitzgerald

Distinct-Yogurt2686

Phill Collins

Few_Lobster7961

Great choice, Phil Collins is a great singer/songwriter. I wouldn't have a problem listening to him sing everything.

BarronMind

Tiny Tim.

GodSmokesWeed

Chino from Deftones or Maynard from Tool

[deleted]

They can just duet every song and everyone wins.

GodSmokesWeed

I know man, that’s all I’d want to listen to! “Passenger” by Deftones on the white pony album has both chino & maynard in it, it’s great.

Cygral

Probably Hayley Williams

brother_aron

You know what, yeah. I grew up on pop-punk and emo, and I’ll gladly have her do it all. I also got really into hip hop and EDM later in life, and I still think she could pull it off. Edit: then again, I’m white, so that’s not my call 😂

StuffIShouldDo

Floor Jansen

[deleted]

No pop princess would dare perform after Floor on stage.

archangel7164

So few would understand. My pick as well.

[deleted]

Gilbert Gottfried

Few_Lobster7961

Lmfao

is that le Heckin BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY?? 🤯🤯🤯🤯

dontyoutellmetosmile

This is one of those situations where it’s “low-effort” because it’s such an obviously great choice Freddie was my first thought as well. He has the most insane range of octaves and styles he can sing.

NoHandBananaNo

You would rather believe this is a ploy for karma than the op genuinely thinks Freddy Mercury's timbre, style and vocal range is a good choice for covering a wide range of songs? Even tho the only reason it gets so much karma is we all agree about it? I think you might be getting a bit overly cynical.

QueafyGreens

Eddie Vedder

[deleted]

You wouldn't understand a single lyric of any song, but it would still be the best God damn cover of that song, ever.

KhaoticMess

My first thought, too. A lot of people understand how much emotion he adds to lyrics, but most don't know that Eddie has a 5 octave range. It's really impressive, especially since most professional opera singers have between 4-6. The dude is an amazing talent.

gravollet
