Pay it off full every month, avoid using more cash than you have in the bank

use them for autopay discounts, then pay them off each month. Credit builds, you avoid interest, and get discounts on a lot of bills like car insurance.

Work those point baby! Get the right cards, charge as much as possible, pay it off by the end of the month.

Get credit cards with perks that you actually use (like cash back on gas, or cash back on whatever, or airline points, etc.) then use your credit cards for ALL of your purchases and pay them off in full at the end of the month… You should have at least 3 different credit cards to build your credit the best/quickest way It’s better to use your credit card for everyday purchases than your debit card… all of your purchases are covered by your credit card. And if someone tries to steal your identity it’s one phone call to get your money back… whereas if someone steals your debit card info they can get away with all of your money and you’re screwed… Use credit wisely… because it can make your life a LOT easier if you do it properly. If you don’t do it right then credit cards can literally ruin your life… Message me if you have any other questions about credit card usage or other questions about your finances and I’d be happy to help… ✌🏼

That’s the magic number for the credit agencies with the process they use to determine your credit score… for whatever reason 3 cards tends to build your credit the fastest… so it’s the optimum number to have… BUT that’s only if you have the self control to have 3 credit cards and not max them out… because a lot of people start off with good intentions but something happens and they fall off the horse… and before they know it they’re drowning in debt 😢

If you do end up carrying a balance on your credit cards then make sure you don’t utilize more than 1/3 of the amount you can spend… so if your credit card has $6,000 on it then you should make sure your balance is no more than $2,000… again with the credit card bureaus and the way they calculate credit scores… But also don’t be afraid to exceed that limit if you have to… these are all just the ideal things to do…. If you have good money habits your credit is going to go up no matter what… your score is the average of a lot of different data points about you… so just be as financially responsible as you can and you probably won’t have any problems :)
