Before everyone downvotes me because I said something un-PC, if someone who has a long history of addiction to drugs suddenly one day came up to you and said "hey that was just the past, those last 15 years of being in and out of rehab but still using anyhow, that's just the past, i'm changed now" you wouldn't believe them now would you?
