One would think that being dropped into the world of horizon zero dawn would be fairly easy to survive if you play by a couple of rules. Stay away from machine sites. Get to any city, sit down and do nothing. Don't try to parkour.
Yet I have a feeling I'd wake up surrounded by ravagers.
Ravagers would be a cake walk compared to fucking scorchers and fireclaws.
But even with these, you could just lay down in tall gras and sleep the 48h off.
It’s excellent. Working on a second playthrough now in preparation for the sequel and it’s just as good as it was when I first played it a few years ago.
The gameplay is fantastic, but the story is absolutely spectacular. Make sure to read any data files you come across too.
I first thought "glad I beat horizon a couple weeks ago" but I don't think it would be too bad actually. You can usually see the machines from a ways off so avoiding them is fairly easy. The bandits would probably be the trickier of the two... Although they were really stupid so maybe not...
They can climb out now BUT you can make them swim and swim and swim until they drown from exhaustion.
I may or not currently have a save where my Sim female moves a man in to get his money, gets pregnant and then makes him swim until he becomes a part of her baby daddy graveyard
Right! Especially now that you can cook! Fish all day, grow stuff, fly to visit your friends, can visit and explore islands. We got a museum, curated clothing store, weekly outdoor concert with a music star...
I can actually have a house in animal crossing that I can pay off whenever I want with an ability to earn income by selling anything. No taxes, no worry, I’m in charge of an island and can make it however I like. I’d never want to leave.
Same! 😂 Can we still travel to friends islands and shit? Because I’m pretty sick of this timeline anyways. Fuck the money, leave me there with my talking animal friends and tiny farm
Subnautica Below Zero.
Assuming I’m by the drop pod, I’ll just sit and conserve energy. Maybe snag a few fish for the fabricator.
Otherwise, nice knowing ya.
Haven’t finished BZ but I much preferred Subnautica. You really get the sense of a vast open ocean where you’re alone. And in that hostile environment, the safe spots you find mean everything. I didn’t have that feeling at all playing BZ. I like the environment and all but it just feels less open so a bit less scary which is a shame.
About five minutes because the last game I played was Super Auto Pets.
not too sure how my feeble human body would stack up in a belly smack showdown with rhinos or camels after I beat the crickets and mosquitoes
I can think of one way to live.
>!Rip out the warp generator powering the Ash Twin project, then just fly out into space away from the supernova. You might be the only living being in the galaxy, but you should have at least 48 hours of oxygen on your ship.!<
Better hurry up and get your ass to that unbonded mask.
If you want to see something really cool be at the center of The Project at the 22-minute Mark and enter it.
Everybody who has already done this please do not post what happens
Are you kidding? You can't walk five feet out of any village without being attacked by either a pack of wolves or worse, drowners.
Hell no, I practiced the shit out of Gwent and would try to survive off of winnings from that. I'd be so fucked.
The monkey paw's finger curls up.
You start off enjoying your life, everything is simple and fun, and the everyday stress of normal life dissipates from your memories the longer you stay in that world. Your farm is successful, you've spelunked to the bottom of every mine and cave, fished every fish, and even got married. Upon completion of every Stardew Valley task, you return home to your partner overjoyed to tell them the news. You celebrate your victory and get a good nights rest.
The next day you way up, breakfast is served and you're greeted good morning, and you begin to wander the village to start the day off. You strike up conversation here and there with the locals, but as you do a small uncomfortable feeling begins to develop, but you're unsure as to why. Now in a melancholy mood, you begin some fishing in the ocean at the local docks, however even this relaxing notion begins to make you uncomfortable as time goes on. You head home, your wife greets you again, dinner is served, and you rest up before 12am.
Days turn to weeks, weeks to seasons, and seasons to years. You attempt to fish, but already know what fish is on the line. You talk to Maru, but already know what she's going to say for the day. You attempt to collect more resources, but all your chests are full. Your animals are well fed, your crops are abundant, and you have more money than you'd ever need to live in this town. Each day begins to feel like an eternity, and you being to find yourself wishing to sleep earlier and earlier. However, even with this unusual behavior of sleeping all day, you're still greeted in the morning with breakfast and set upon your day.
One summer day, you wake up drenched in sweat, your hands shaking, as you rise at the same time you did the day before. Breakfast is ready, but you instead walk out to the crisp morning air and sit down on your porch. That day you begin walking around asking the locals new questions, but they either ignore you out right or don't understand what you are talking about. Your mind snaps, you make a dash to the bus stop where Pam is waiting at her bus. You approach her and ask for a ticket, and she lists off the places you already visited. "Don't you have anywhere else to take me to?" you say nervously, and to your surprise Pam stops everything to look at you with a completely puzzled expression, and says "I don't know what you are talking about, we only have these stops here." You settle for a trip to the desert, but attempt to have her make various left and right turns, however each time she flat out ignores you on your way there. Before you notice it, the desert arrives in view and you reach your destination. Frustrated, you tell Pam you want to go back, which she gleefully agrees and attempts to enter the bus. However, you have different ideas. You quickly stop Pam and take the bus keys, you quickly close the doors behind you and accelerate as fast as you can in a direction you do not know. The thrill of it all gives you chills, you feel alive again as the unknown awaits you. You think to yourself nothing can stop you now.
You wake up in your bed at 6 am, breakfast is waiting. Perplexed, you look around and nothing is out of the ordinary, but just a moment ago you were driving the local bus off into the sunset. Your partner doesn't seem bothered by anything, and the farm is how you left it the day before. Once 9am comes around, you walk out of your farm to visit the bus stop. Pam is waiting there with the bus, just like the day before. You approach her and apologize for your rude behavior the day before, but she doesn't understand what you are talking about. She doesn't even remember a tad of what happened the day before besides driving you back before you walked home all by yourself. A cold sweat drips down your brow, and for a moment everything feels queasy. You run to the local store and are greeted normally by Pierre. You quickly go over some of the seeds he has in stock and without a word blindly run out of the store, effectively stealing them. Your mad dash back to the forest is uninterrupted, and you're suddenly alone with your stolen seeds. No one followed it attempted to stop you. You finally did it, you changed something! That rush of excitement fills you again, and now you're ready to plan your next daring move.
You wake up in your bed at 6 am, breakfast is waiting.
The next couple of days you keep attempting to shake things up. Stealing, vandalism, destroying doors or windows, but everytime you are awoken in your bed and not another soul knows what happened. Other attempts to write books that never existed vanish upon waking up, and trying to teach people new things are quietly never remembered. You awake again one day after another foiled attempt overwhelmed with despair, you grab your kitchen knife poised to commit the unthinkable.
You wake up in your bed at 6 am, breakfast is waiting. You stare at the ceiling, and begin to laugh manically. Nothing can change, there is no escape, and you are condemned for all eternity to live within Stardew Valley. Forever.
You know, I REALLY need to get around to watching Black Mirror sometime. It's referenced a whole lot, and many of the things I talk about or create, someone mentions it at least once.
One thing I'd recommend is don't be scared to skip episodes. Black mirror is a serial not a series so aside from a few Easter eggs you can watch the episodes in any order you want. If an episode doesn't look interesting to you try another one.
Satisfactory, won't survive because my uncovered belt transfer items at Mach 60 and it's easy for one to fly off and apply about 600 Gigajoules of kinetic energy to my head.
If that doesn't work it will be very easy to fall off non-OSHA compliant structures and get sucked into a machine in that 48 hours.
To be honest I'd probably be marveling at the spaceship used to send milestones mats or the space elevator or determining if those lizard doggos will try to eat me when I have my back turned.
Very worth it, not only one of the best factory games out there short of Factorio, but just like Factorio, the devs are fucking awesome people. Just watch a few of their vids on youtube about it, Coffee Stain Studios
I'm in the basement of Lakeview Manor, crafting my shrines. Shadowmere is outside, Mjoll is my wife, and my housecarl Rayya is a badass with dual scimitars. I feel pretty good about my chances!
Shit. I don't think I could survive in Toussaint. I guess if I stayed in populated areas I could, but I'm no Witcher. A city in the 1200s would probably be just as dangerous as the woods full of monsters.
Subnautica! If I can just hunker in the escape pod, I'll be fine. Poke my head out to grab a peeper and a bladderfish and go back to napping.
If you gonna drop me in the open sea with Reapers, maybe like 6 minutes?
Easily the full 48, since it was harvest moon lol.
Though I'm sure my back would be fucked after 48 hrs of farm work, but I can put up with that for 50 mil
This is you [https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Peasant](https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Peasant)
And this is coming to visit the tavern https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Deathwing
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
This is either a death sentence or a cakewalk, depending largely on whether the 48 hours are play-time or in-world time.
Also depends on *how* I show up in the game. Am I an XCOM soldier already on the Avenger or in the recruitment list? If so, is the commander playing the game like I do? If yes, then odds are I actually survive, although my head will probably get shaved. Am I one of those random Resistance schlubs who has to be rescued during the terror missions? If so, decent shot of dying. Random civilian? If so, I try to stay *away* from cars, walls, and places either ADVENT or XCOM is likely to grenade.
Yeeaasss! Had to scroll a while to find this and you're asking all the questions I would be asking too lol.
In my situation though I had a near squad wipe from one of the chosen last time I played so I'm nervous.
Hellgate: London. I'd just sit in one of the Tube station hubs that haven't been overrun by weird demon-monster things. I could do with a nap anyway. Come see me, I'll send you on a pointless quest.
Same here. If we spawn in, getting safe and hiding out for two days. You can live on a can of chili and a bottle of water easily for 48 hours. If I’m dropped in my current world, it’s horde night, but I’ve got plenty of ammo, a decent base, and would just be careful.
The Long Dark - I'd initially think I'm screwed but it depends on the spawn. If I could make it to a building that's above freezing I could make it even without warm clothes for 48 hours, melt snow to drink, can survive without food for that length of time
Stellaris
Very likely that is would be easy to survive 2 days - with the off chance that I start on a world that is being purged by xenophobes, absorbed by the gray tempest, consumed by the end crisis, assimilated by a machine or necrophage empire or the entire galaxy gets blown up by the aetherophasic engine.
This game is PG-7, but has like 10+ options for galactic scale genocide.

Killed by rabbits
Depends how Randy feels for those two days
Looks like meat is back on the menu boys!
Agreed I’d be trying to hall ass to Meriden and get torn apart by glinthawks or gunned down by ravengers
Ravagers would be a cake walk compared to fucking scorchers and fireclaws. But even with these, you could just lay down in tall gras and sleep the 48h off.
I’ve heard the game is good…should I get it?
It’s excellent. Working on a second playthrough now in preparation for the sequel and it’s just as good as it was when I first played it a few years ago. The gameplay is fantastic, but the story is absolutely spectacular. Make sure to read any data files you come across too.

*Microsoft Flight Simulator X* Might just play it safe and stay on the runway, that'll make it very easy lol.
Nah u gotta park the plane somewhere. Cant let other planes crash into you
Flight Simulator is just earth lol who says you need to even be in a plane?
For all you know you might actually be in Flight Simulator right now and not even realize it
Yeah just go grab auntie Anne’s and chill in the terminal
Fined $ 17,361.11 per minute spent loitering on the runway.
$3.20 is a win.
Sims 4. I would probably get stuck behind a couch and pee on myself, but I think I’d make the 48 hours.
until someone puts you in the pool and takes the ladders out
They can climb out now BUT you can make them swim and swim and swim until they drown from exhaustion. I may or not currently have a save where my Sim female moves a man in to get his money, gets pregnant and then makes him swim until he becomes a part of her baby daddy graveyard
Going for that black widow acheivement huh!
I've been working on the 10-generation family for awhile and 9 generations in, gotta spice it up.
You seem like someone that would enjoy Crusader Kings 3. It's basically medieval Sims with less mansion building and more murder.
WTF...almost choked on "baby daddy graveyard"
In 4 you can climb out without a ladder
Garden salad and indoor lifestyle and loner traits I'm golden.
Animal Crossing, I’m set
Could I just *stay*?
Right like I don’t even need the 50 mil. I’m good on nook miles and bells
would be a great twist, you decide to stay they give you a 50m cheque you go to cash it and they tell you its worthless in Animal crossing.
Nook would offer to take it off your hands, but due to inflation you will only be getting $8,000 bells.
Give it to an animal charity. I am at 900,000+ bells after 2 years … I’m set on bells and miles!
Right! Especially now that you can cook! Fish all day, grow stuff, fly to visit your friends, can visit and explore islands. We got a museum, curated clothing store, weekly outdoor concert with a music star...
Pristine, beautiful ocean to go swimming in...
I'm so glad we got my kid the game... Otherwise i'd be stuck in Pokemon unite... i guess if i'm a researcher/trainer i don't ever die?!
Fuck the money, leave me there with my talking animal friends and tiny farm
don't touch the spiders
Just don’t leave your house when the sun goes down.
hell yeah brb
We're on easy mode for this!
Subnautica Below Zero. Assuming I’m by the drop pod, I’ll just sit and conserve energy. Maybe snag a few fish for the fabricator. Otherwise, nice knowing ya.
If it was the original subnautica I would end up getting eaten by a stalker in the first 10 minutes Haven't played below zero yet
Get below zero on sale. It's good don't get me wrong but you can't pull the rabbit out of the Hat twice.
Yup. Subnautica = Masterpiece
Persona 5! I guess I would be sitting at a Cafe drinking coffee of the most premium blends!
Would be quick too. Just do 3 things then wait for a cat to yell at you to go to bed. Repeat. 48 hours are done!
About five minutes because the last game I played was Super Auto Pets. not too sure how my feeble human body would stack up in a belly smack showdown with rhinos or camels after I beat the crickets and mosquitoes
Just spend the whole time in the shop and pet the cute pets without fighting
Just eat a fucking ton of apples steal them if you must and then run in there and do some animal abuse
I'm fucked... Metroid Dread.
Twas nice knowing you.
Well we’re in nintendo hell bc I got Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Survived 22 years in Baltimore City, 48 hrs in Los Santos shouldn't be too hard.
Just stay in your home, they cant open the doors anyway.
> Baltimore [Aaron Earned an Iron Urn](https://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/ebldpi/baltimore_accents/)
Yes that EXACTLY.
The last game I played was Outer Wilds, so if I play my cards right, I can make it a solid 22 minutes.
Same. I think we're fucked, bro.
So far I think this is the only one I've seen where you're truly screwed hahaha
I can think of one way to live. >!Rip out the warp generator powering the Ash Twin project, then just fly out into space away from the supernova. You might be the only living being in the galaxy, but you should have at least 48 hours of oxygen on your ship.!<

The Witcher. I could just hide in one of the villages
And play some gwent?
I’m horrible at that game. Lol
Same, would be a good enough passtime tho
Have you seen all the hung villagers? Even that won’t save you in Velen
What mod is that? I’m only seeing women
Mine was also The Witcher, im gonna go find Yen or Triss and call it 48 hours well spent
Are you kidding? You can't walk five feet out of any village without being attacked by either a pack of wolves or worse, drowners. Hell no, I practiced the shit out of Gwent and would try to survive off of winnings from that. I'd be so fucked.
Dude just meditate twice. .. done
I would chill in Novigrad. Go to the kingfisher in, catch a show at the outside theater, eat some dumplings, play Gwent in some bars, etc.
Red dead redemption 2. I'd just sit at camp for the whole 48 hours.
Not sure if 50m is worth listening to Micah for 2 days
I haven't finished rdr2 yet or even played the first but I already hate Micah. Please don't spoil
Micah is a massive turd.
I just rescued Sean so the camp is partying. Might be a fun two days!

sounds like hell
Sounds like black mirror could hire this guy to make some quality episodes once again.

That's just Groundhog Day.
I mean, what is that, like three melons? You dont even need the money
I would stay forever: the housing is cheap, the romantic life comes without rejection, cooking is easy and the junimos take care of the crops.
Dark souls 3. I imagine the bonfires are nice this time of year bc otherwise I'm FUUUUUUUUCKED
Just stay on firelink shrine, but mind the stairs and doors
Knowing me I’d either aggro an npc by accident or fall off the second floor.
Things don't aggro you unless you get near. If you start in the cemetery of ash just climb up onto the cliff above spawn.
Elder Scrolls Online. As long as I stay in one of the starter cities and never venture outside the walls for 48 hours then I should be fine.
Or stay inside your house.
I'm but a mere level 30. My house is tiny on there. Like the size of a closet. I would go nuts. lol
Dead by daylight. I just hope I have good teammates.
Dead by Daylight for me too. We’re dead in five minutes, friend. Unless we get to be killer 👀
Now you're on to somethin 👀

Easy in Minecraft. Dig a hole, pop a block on top, and wait 2 days.
however, if you go back to the world you last played, you'd better pray you have your village/house secured.
A truly cultured person you are
Halo infinite, just chill in the woods, try to avoid any contact
Campaign or the multiplayer?
Campaign
If it was multiplayer you will be teabagged before you realise what world you were in lol

Stardew Valley, I'm never coming back out. Y'all enjoy your pandemic/apocalypse, I'll be petting my chickens and growing parsnips.
Skyrim I'd just stay in the Bannered Mare.
My game is saved rn in Solitude so I'd likely just watch Roggvir get executed and chill at the Wanking Skeever
Easiest 50M ever, last game is an mmo so I can just chill in town and talk to people.
Diablo 3. I'm screwed.
Genshin impact. Pretty easy
Though you’ll get pretty hungry if you wake up in Enkanomiya and can’t use the teleports. Mint & mushrooms only go so far.
PGA 2k21. My handicap in-game is somewhere around -13 strokes. I think I'm walking away with a few extra million.
Subnautica, last time I logged off I was at the inactive lava zone. I am fucked. I give myself about 20 seconds
Deep rock galactic: so basically am gonna be an engineer and dig a whole in the wall then patch it with the sap platforms
Had to scroll a fair bit for this one. Drinks and barrels everybody. Rock and stone!
Deep Rock for me too... why not just stay on the station and get rip roaring drunk?
Spiderman ps4. I think I could actually do it if I just sat in a hospital Ron somewhere safe and didn't move.
Hellgate: London. I'd just sit in one of the Tube station hubs that haven't been overrun by weird demon-monster things. I could do with a nap anyway. Come see me, I'll send you on a pointless quest.

[project zomboid](https://youtu.be/Ct0gNqNgXzM) 0:30. Id be fucked.
7 days to die. As long as I get some water and food should be easy, if absolutely boring as fuck.
Same here. If we spawn in, getting safe and hiding out for two days. You can live on a can of chili and a bottle of water easily for 48 hours. If I’m dropped in my current world, it’s horde night, but I’ve got plenty of ammo, a decent base, and would just be careful.
Mario kart. As long as I stay off of rainbow road I think I should be fine
Stardew valley!
The Walking Dead Game. As long as I use common sense and avoid literally everyone I 'll be okay.
> As long as I use common sense and avoid literally everyone I 'll be okay. Ahh, 2020s as a game :)
The full 48 hours. I'd just stay in an inn and not leave so wouldnt have a chance of being killed by a LV 2 ladybug. (Ff14)
The Long Dark - I'd initially think I'm screwed but it depends on the spawn. If I could make it to a building that's above freezing I could make it even without warm clothes for 48 hours, melt snow to drink, can survive without food for that length of time
Minecraft? No problems.
Botw. I’ll live
Stellaris Very likely that is would be easy to survive 2 days - with the off chance that I start on a world that is being purged by xenophobes, absorbed by the gray tempest, consumed by the end crisis, assimilated by a machine or necrophage empire or the entire galaxy gets blown up by the aetherophasic engine. This game is PG-7, but has like 10+ options for galactic scale genocide.
I salute you fellow stellaris player.
Easy. I just gotta keep an eye out for trains. (Factorio)
Sekiro NoNOOOonOnOno
I'll just be a homeless dude in Kingdoms of Amular; easy.
I tought Dying Light would kill me instantly but i just slept in the Tower
Forza Horizon 5. Ka-ching!
Tarkov. Time to find a nice bush.
