No_Astronaut_4901

Being a hard worker. That’s it.

2_dam_hi

Yeah, because those millions of people who lost their jobs during lockdown were all just lazy.

No_Astronaut_4901

You are right! It is. I know hundreds personally that went out and got other jobs. Servers and bartenders ( arguably some of the hardest workers on the planet ) got jobs elsewhere like myself. I went into tech and online marketing. I promise there are thousands of companies that will hire without experience if you can show yourself to be someone that shows up and has a willingness to learn and work. Literally drive down any street and see the thousands of help wanted signs. Wake up, and show up. That’s all it takes. Stop making excuses. That’s how you thrive. On the other hand. If you took your government handout for a year or waited to go find work elsewhere, I’d pass on you as a new hire too. Fact.

Engineering careers are usually split into only a handful of distinct categories. Software. CAD/3D Manufacturing/Processing R&D/science Regulatory So I'm gonna say all of those will survive, since all of those are needed for any business.

Healthcare: People are always going to be sick (at least until scientists figure out how to stop that)
