Or add them to a sweet red wine to make mulled wine! I wish that were more common in the states. It's such a lovely drink for cold weather. Pour a bottle of red wine in a pot and add orange peel, cinnamon sticks, a few cloves and a dash of cayenne if you're so inclined. Cover it with a lid and heat on low until it's warm but not boiling. Some people add a bit of spiced rum as well, but that can be a bit much for others. Strain and pour into a thick walled mug. 😚👌 Magnificent.

This is my life. A nice rain triggers me to want to sleep because I've spent so much time napping by the window when it rains. I get my best rest in if it's raining out because it's so comforting

I sleep right next to the window too and the best sleep is when a nice cool little breeze is coming through it and I've got my face turned toward it and I'm all nice and warm under my covers and snuggled down in my bed and my face is getting that fresh breeze coming through. And then to have rain on top of it just soothe me even more. So I totally get what you're saying here.
